Pros: It was, as Kipling might have put it, a “more-than-Oriental-splendour” experience, from the check-in (which was conducted at a beautiful table, where we could sit while water was brought to us) to departure. Of special note: the extraordinary physical space, both inside and out, above all the soaring arched ceiling of the restaurant hall, with truly exquisite blue chandeliers. Unforgettable.

Pros: The food was fine, plenty of choice at breakfast, both british and asian food on offer. Mainly asian food in the restaurant for dinner, although receptionist implied there was ample choice of european food. The location and view over London is fantastic. Rooms beautifully appointed.
Cons: The service at breakfast was appalling, plenty of friendly staff. However the system is dreadful. Waited 15 minutes for tea and coffee then the order was wrong. the toast we ordered at the same time as the drinks came after 30+ minutes, too late to eat with hot food, and when it arrived was cold and hard like toast when it's been hanging about for several hours. The receptionist had said he would book us in for dinner, however he didn't, fortunately they managed to fit us in. The service for dinner was as poor as at breakfast. Over 25 minutes wait for our drinks - which should have been apperitives, during the time we waited the neighbouring table had been served 3 times! Our drinks arrived with the food. The food itself was ok, pricey but we expected that for where it was. It was a special occasion 50th wedding anniversary and birthday but although we had mentioned this, no offer of anything to celebrate which is what is the norm in every other restaurant I've been in. On checking out all the above was mentioned to the receptionist and she did then eventually remove the service charges. All this did colour our stay - it was a one off very expensive treat for 2 special occasions - the hotel and room facilities, cleanliness etc were excellent but the experience was spoiled by such appalling service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Daniel the Manager was so Helpful. An asset to them.
Cons: Rest of staff where not so helpful. Which was because we had had a couple of drinks clearly. But we where in no way abusive or aggressive. Just needed a place to stay instead of getting a taxi 150 miles home. Because of missing our train. I understand the high class place we where in just thought it could of been a bit easier

Pros: We like the ‘iPad room control center’ a lot. Change airco setting, switch some light, adjust volume or select a movie to play...all with one iPad. It’s cool. And we like the mood lighting. Pros: Clean and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Helpful when our air conditioning broke. They gave us a different room.
Cons: The bed is against the wall which is difficult if there are two of you -- you have to crawl over your partner to get out. Also, there is no privacy the way the bathroom is set up. It is a pod with the toilet in the middle of the room and the sink in the main room. This room would work for one person, but it is a bit tight and personal for two.

It cloud be closer to an underground station, or with more iconic views but it is in a relative quiet site and lot’s of London great attractions are within walking distance.
Cons: Well, we picked a room with mood lighting and we got ‘upgraded’ to a ‘quiet room with garden view’. The garden view hardly deserves that name though. Its a view to a center patio with some plants. And the quiet room turned out to be a room adapted specifically for people in a wheelchair. I guess it’s a bit more spacious, but it also lacked the mood lighting.

Staff in the restaurant and bar are simply the best in London! - Great hotel facilities including a Lounge, Gym and bar. - I highly recommend Hilton Tower Bridge for business or leisure stay in London!
Cons:
7.9 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is great just behind it is the tower bridge. Opposite is a brilliant view of The Shard. Good restaurants and food stores around like M&S, plenty of coffee shops. Train station/underground very close to the hotel. Rooms clean which is good we were lucky we had a big window with bit of a view of the Shard.
Cons: Couldn't use the roof terrace as it is only for guests staying in the executive suits. Should not put those pictures up or make it very clear it is not for the use of all guests. Ball pit wasn't in use. I contacted the hotel after booking the room and noticing it only had a king size bed but we had a 10yr old with us and had entered that in the search criteria. I was told thy wld put an extra bed in the room. On arrival whn i went to my room it was just a double room with one bed with the view of a wall. Went back to reception the gent said thy didn't have any notes about the extra bed but they can put one in to the room. I wasn't happy with this as the room was way too small for another bed to go in there. The gent was very helpful and put us in a deluxe family room which was great it did the job.

On checking out of 510 I had forgotten my mobile broadband in the room, but realized early enough to phone the hotel from the train to get them to find it and keep it it. I wasn't really sure if the receptionist on the phone had understood. I checked in again a couple of days later, and asked about collecting the broadband device - bemused looks all around. I kept on asking...

Cons: The only thing that I didn't like was the shower - at first very impressive wet room, but the only option was the overhead drench shower - not all ladies want to wash their hair everyday, yes there was a shower cap, but a slide rail kit would have been better.
7.5 Good
Pros: Proximity & cleanliness
Cons: Nothing as I spent less than 12hours at this hotel
7.9 Good
Pros: Rooms are large for london. Good price. Perfect location
Cons: Some of the staff were quite rude and unhelpful when we asked to warm up food for our toddler. The staff even questioned us if we were staying in the hotel and refused to provide a coffee spoon, instead gave a soup spoon for a toddler to use. Ridiculous and insulting.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, comfortable bed, wet room shower, staff very good, and friendly. good value .
Cons: nothing

Cons: Bathroom could do with a makeover
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service , I asked if possible to check in earlier and member of staff did check for me and I could go in my room earlier. That was very important for me as I was traveling for 3hours and needed shower, change and go to work straight after . And work another 8-9 hours . Really helped me! Also very clean , fresh , Morden , nice breakfast and again member of staff were very helpful and even so they didn’t have space for breakfast they offered alternative to sit on Sofas .. just caring friendly :) and location is very good with amazing restaurant just around the corner. Highly recommend!!!
Cons: I loved everything. Would come back again !!!!
6.8 Good
Pros: The location, staff, and downstairs reception area were lovely!
Cons: The bathroom was moldy and dirty, the carpeting throughout the room had many large, nasty stains, and the room's decor was quite outdated.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was lovely but not clean. Good location.
Cons: Room not particularly clean, which was very disappointing considering the price. Shame the hotel didn’t have a bar. Cleaners entered our room twice in the morning which was hours before checkout.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: My stay in 510 was brill. The room is high, light, great view of the Shard, everything works. I stayed a couple of days later in 207 - misery!
Cons: Whether your stay here is great or grot depends on which floor and which room they allocate you. I stayed in 510 this week (heaven) and later in the week in 207 (hell). 207 is awkward in shape, you have a strange desk which is a hot drink area behind the bedstead. I only worked out that the strip light in this area swivels, otherwise the room is dingy, dark, and totally miserable. The kettle in 207 took some working out how to use until I eventually discovered you flick it up to switch on, which is completely counter-intuitive. The AC in 207 is like a b**dy boiler going, so noisy. The left behind mobile broadband turned into a right saga. I must have asked for this x 10 times, different people, including the bl**dy manager. I was told several times it isn't here. My call to the hotel - no-one had noted it! It didn't exist - it hadn't happened. In desperation, on checking out on the last day, I persuaded the receptionist to check 510 again with me going along with her- and there it was, exactly where I said it was. What a bunch of chumps. When I said no-one had checked properly - no real acknowledgement of their stupid F**king error that had made my stay so F**king miserable.

Pros: Bar at the lobby is avarage plus.
Cons: Staff, reception and the response to the problems. We asked 4 times to send someone to fix our safe box and air condition. No one came, and 3 days we stay with no a.c and no safe box. Very bad feelings, very bad experience for the first time at London. The location is not fitting to someone who is first time visitor in London. Nothing main and important is close enough.

Pros: Unfortunately we were there for one of the hottest June's in 40 years in London. No a/c in the hotel, just a small fan that we tried to situate to blow across the bed. There was one night during our stay where it cooled down enough at night that the 4th floor room was comfortable for sleeping. There was a/c in the breakfast room in the morning. Too bad we couldn't sleep there.
Breakfast was a small buffet of meat, cheese, bread, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and juices as well as tea/coffee. Enough to get us started for the day.

Cons: Bigger jars of chilly, Fantastic taste for those of us that likes spice , Lol all great
6.7 Good
Pros:
Cons: Though i love the design of the place and the free tea and coffee and chocolates and chilli jam a really nice touch it is ultimately about a good nights sleep and sadly the bed i had was terrible (thin mattress, squeaky springs) and next to a shared loo i was told was only for my room and one other and yet during the night it must have been used 6-8 times loudly and again numerous times in the morning, The loud fan for the bathroom was left off as if the light is it stays on. The doors all seem to bang loudly which again makes it very hard to sleep for any period at all. Little changes could greatly fix all this (better mattress and bed, auto switch off for the fan, door catches to minimise slamming shut and signage to limit who uses the shared bathrooms. It's a lovely themed place , nice staff, good location and lovely extras but if you're awake most of the night it's hard for that to matter much.

Pros: I liked where it was located.
Cons: Packing area was packed which is understandable so I had to go to the underground car park which is understandable but what I don’t understand is why an employee couldn’t give me the correct code to get into the underground car park.
Also 20 minutes after I had checked out of the hotel I had realised I had left some clothes behind which was my mistake but to come back to the hotel to get no help, to find my clothes had been stolen was crazy.
When booking I also asked if I would get a nice view as that is what I want and that’s what I’m willing to pay, just for me to pay and look at a tennis court all day.
It’s not bad, I just personally wouldn’t go back, plenty other hotels I can receive a better service from

Pros: Lovely riverside location with a great view of Canary Wharf skyscrapers & unique boat transport make the stay a different experience than most London hotels. Staff are uniformly excellent and go out of their way to help. Given very solid price for a London hotel, it's worth giving it a thought.
Cons: Rooms are decent but not amazing. Smoking was not allowed even on balconies, which was a first for me. Breakfast slightly above average, frankly speaking not worth the £20 price tag. Generally, the food in the hotel was a hit and miss: rubber-like halloumi strips, bland burger, but also exquisite cheese & brisket sandwich. After midnight this hotel becomes quite difficult to reach, with no Tube station around.

Pros: Location was great. Breakfast was value for money. Wifi was fast. Bathroom was clean. Shower head still not detachable but at least bathroom not as disgusting as the shared ones. I booked a different room before in the same hostel and TRUST ME. You have to book this one because this is cleaner.

Cons:

Pros: How clean it was
Cons: How rude the staff member was checking me in. For someone who's never stayed in a hostel before she really put me off she wasn't welcoming at all.

Cons: No WiFi
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, easy to get around. Big room and bathroom relative to the cost.
Cons: They're very strict about check-in time, which was kind of silly given how uncrowded it was. Also the bed could be a little better.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: This hostel asked me to changer the room for every night as I travelled alone. I reserved 5 nights and slept in 4 different rooms. The suggestion of the staff was either I accept it or ask for a refund. The explication was that as individual traveler, we need to move for the group traveler. So, I packed my luggage every morning and made a new check in every afternoon. What an inconvenience! The Hostel has an astonishing policy and it's totally unfair. By moving the clients in order to fully occupy the room, they make a maximum of benefit.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was helpful. Facilities were fresh looking and nice albeit the showers were a bit tight. This is hostel living with 8 in a room on bunks.
Cons: Rooms were very warm despite opening the windows and it being cool in the evenings.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is good. The breakfast was value for money. There was a reception area where people can wait.
Cons: I got insect bites on my neck and arm after just 1 day of staying here. I had the biggest problem with the shower situation. I thought it would be like a dorm, but it was not. There was only like 2 shower areas for the whole floor of many rooms and many beds! It was always occupied and I had to wake up very early just to shower. Plus it was always wet! The shower head was not detachable. It was very disgusting. I had the most inconvenient shower experience ever and I have been to many hostels. Someone might reply that I should have told the management about this etc.. But what use will it be? Every person who showers will get the whole floor wet because there was no glass partition. Only a disgusting shower curtain. Even if they clean after I complain, the same disgusting thing will happen again RIGHT AFTER the next person comes out of it. The receptionists do not seem very into the job either. They were professionals that is true but they were not trying further than that? I am talking about the little things, nothing major. Like if asked about a good restaurant, they claim to have no knowledge about it? They are not like other receptionists in other hostels who are friendly and can talk to you about the hostel’s vicinity. I also did not like the fact that an early check in has to cost 5gbp. I felt terrible about it. It was not very welcoming of them to do that. I will understand if the room is not ready... but if it is already ready 1 hour before, then charging 5gbp is obviously greed. Do yourself a favor and book the room WITH the shower inside. That is less disgusting.

Cons: This was my 2nd time. The first time I had a horrible time and I still can’t get that disgusting shower situation out of my mind. Also none of the rooms seem to have a charging station near the bed. Always far and it made me paranoid. I could not charge my phones overnight. Smart beds will go a long way! Several other hostels in big cities have that type. Hope you will look into that ‘coz you need an upgrade. Your staff hopefully can be more friendly next time? I feel that the staff of hostels should be the welcoming kind.
