The location to the Albert Hall. We were not pre-warned that the hotel was undergoing refurbishment and therefore noise levels were very high.
The location was excellent and the staff were great ambassadors for the hotel from reception through to housekeeping
Location And the room Gym can be better.
Location was perfect. The hotel staff recommended some excellent restaurants and were extremely helpful.
Great Location and great views of Kensington Palace, staff that spoke english were good. Room was small, price was high for room and some staff very poor.
The room was comfortable and spacious, whilst the staff were vwery attentive.
Excellent staff and good room for London
Great location on Kensington High Street. Pleasant view from room. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Friendly and helpful staff, good rooms and service level. Noisy street - room facing the road, not flexible check in/out hours despite that I informed the reception about early arrival and departure in advance.
the Tenth floor bar/restaurant is superb and has fantastic views throughout the day. the staff were fabulous the room was a bit dated and worn but still very nice.
I liked the fact that it is located beside the Hyde Park which gives a nice view from your room and makes it easy to take a walk there and enjoy the fresh air. Didnt like the GYM.
everything, every body was so friendly.
Beautiful room. Staff was incredible!
style and service
The attention to detail by all hotel staff, impeccable standard of the interior and most importantly of all the welcome and care towards our pet spaniel dog.
Welcoming staff if a bit over attentive! Nothing too much trouble. My friend joined us for drinks in the bar area early evening and was questioned extenisvely as to why she was entering the hotel! Very vigilant from a security point of view but our guest name should have re-assured the concierge staff she was on legitimate business ;this appeared not to be the case.
Very nice hotel, good staff, nice atmosphere May be a bit expensive, but worth it
The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We had a room with a view at the park, which was great. When we got back to the room in the evening, housekeeping had been there and had laid back the blackets and lit a candle, which created a very 'at home' atmosfere. The first morning we had a late breakfast and the buffet was not very well stocked. However, they made that up the next day with one of the best breakfasts we ever had!
All of it no
Stellar service, charming decor, perfect location
We don't have any complaints about the hotel or the staff whatsoever. Everything was arranged extremely well. Location opposite Hyde Park very nice. We will definitely we going back.
Easy check in, no fuss or hassle Only one point not good in that tv in room the picture "pixelated" on some channels - hardly something though to downrate the hotel on
Small room, but clean and well laid out for the size of it. If you can't carry your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs, this is not the hotel for you. The included breakfast is not good, I decided to eat elsewhere. Really nice location right outside of Hyde Park and close to the High Street Kensington Station. Would stay again.
The staff were helpful and accommodating and the location was excellent. Just a few blocks from the High Street Kensington tube station and Hyde Park across the street. The breakfast was simple but ample and the staff made you coffee or tea when you sat down. I arrived really early my first day and my room wasn't ready yet. I guess the manager read the look on my face as desperate; he gave me the brand new double room (at no extra cost) up on the top floor for the night. I highly recommend that couples request this room, it was really well situated. They transferred my bags the next day while I was out and about. The rooms were clean and fresh; the sink in the single was airplane size but the shower was spacious. I stayed in a single for two nights and it was tiny. Do not bring a suit case any larger than a carry-on roller bag otherwise you will be sleeping on your luggage. I would also recommend asking for a room off of street-side if you're on the second or third floor.
The staff were all very helpful, attentive and willing to help. Good location. The size of our room was not up to our expectations.
Good facilities and friendly staff. Room was clean with small shower room but very well maintained. TV remote temperamental.
Clean. Did not get what I booked room wise.
Excellent staff Very clean Room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke
Staff was very pleasant, courteous, and provided excellent service. Check in/out was quick and easy.
Excellent central location; very friendly and helpful staff. Room a little on the small side, but definitely acceptable for a short break stay
Staff were extremely helpful, obliging and courteous, couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. I did request a quiet room, so understanderable we were designated a back room as opposed to one at the front by the road, which was fine except the air conditioning units of neighbouring buildings were quite noisy.
staff attentive and polite nothing
It was the worst experience we have ever had. Simply dreadfull... Never go there again. We checked out after 1 night, false advertisement. Dirty, old, rotten, nothing like the photos advertised, rude staff
The location, very central. Bathroom facilities were not very good.
The best thing of the apartment was it's location. The building was the traditional building of london, all made of bricks, really nice. And the free internet conection was good too. There are so many things. For example, it was al dirty, it is expensive for the services it offers, the kitchen cant be used neither, etc. Another thing is that nobody is at the reception of the hotel past 10 p.m. A man arrived at 1:30 a.m. and nobody was there to receive him, and he had booked a room for 134 pounds a night. The man stayed all night in the lobby shouting for the manage to wait him, but nobody came. When we woke up in the morning, we saw a note that the customer had left at the front desk, complaining about the situation, it was really crazy.
It was situated in a nice area close to many shoppingstreets and close to a tubestation and busstations We didn't get a real bed for our 5th familly member to sleep in. He had to sleep on the floor. Receptionist tried to help us with this matter but it wasn't more he could do. So we paid to much for the stay in comparison of the sleeping arrangements. Friendly receptionist and not a place if you like it new decorated.
Location - close to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and Albert Hall. Easy access to shops and transport. it was dirty and poorly presented. Advertised as self catering but ill supplied kitchen. There was little in the way of "luxury". Also during stay there were major probelms with the roof in the apartment foyer which made access almost impossible - an extreme fire safety risk.
nothing at all I did not like anything at this hotel
Location Everything else. Very tired, dirty and unmaintained.
The best thing about this apartment is that it is very centrally located. It is just a 5 minute walk from the High Street Kensington tube station and right next to the Kensington Park. The rooms were very small and the toilets even smaller. The shower stall was ridiculously small - it was impossible to get a proper shower. The lift is only up to the 2nd floor and then one had to climb up 2 flights of stairs to get to the top floor. One toilet was in the staircase landing. The building lacked basic cleanliness.
Very conveniently located.Good security. Very dirty and in need if maintenance.
near the tube station and shopping centre. staff is very unhelp full, no receptionish, no common space or waiting space
