Cons: I don't know why English hotels do stays without breakfast ! Look at how the Irish hotels do it. Adding breakfast at 30 pounds is a real turn off ! No buffet breakfast in the world could cost that to supply? Maybe look at this to be a little different.

Cons: I chose twin room because had an expectation that there is special place dedicated to work as per photo on booking.com but faced the fact that there is no such place. Pros: We loved our stay at Crown Plaza right from the moment we were greeted warmly at the hotel entrance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our wish for a quiet room with a view. Thank you, Simon! Breakfast was a bonus in a spacious area with a very broad selection (including full English breakfast) to cater for the many international guests. The location is excellent with shops, supermarket, pubs all very close. Gloucester Road Underground station is across the road which has a direct link to Heathrow. (Does have some steps, though.) The restaurant is good and the bar area which opens onto a private park is exceptional in warm weather. Overall the vibe of this hotel is of a busy but well organised property with a family friendly, welcoming, international home away from home feel!

Pros: The concierge is great. They are helpfull, fast n courteous.
Cons: The room that l stayed in has the most awkward lay out. The toilet roll fixture was placed at the side of the bathtub exactly where you get in n out. It got splashed by water from the shower, and one can easily slip over its 15cm protruding metal rod for the spare tissue roll. The magnifying glass was only able to face to the toilet area n not to your face. The toilet flusher was behind the toilet cover. So each time you need to flush it, you ll have to first close the cover. The distance between the wall mirror inside the bathroom, to where you stand in front of the basin was so far that one need to bent extra to see your makeup. But this issue may not be for everybody. One who is taller then my 5.4" height maybe able to reach it better. In general... l used to stay at Crown Plaza Singapore. The experience is very different.

Pros: Clean and quiet, room and bathroom is fairly spacious for hotel at London. Staffs are nice and helpful. Breakfast is rather good and I like the buffet in particular.
Cons: The bathroom basin clogged a bit, it took quite a while to drain the water every time after I washed my hands. As a person who pay attention to details I also noted the pencil provided in my room had a broken lead. I had no intention to use the pencil at all but I reckon such issue maybe regarded as a cons for some others.

Pros: We chose this hotel as it was near to the Royal Albert Hall, and we had bought tickets to a concert for my partner's birthday, which I had mentioned when booking. The hotel is in a perfect location and they kindly upgraded our room and gave my partner a birthday card, such a lovely gesture. The staff are very friendly and helpful; particularly Andrea on reception who was wonderful. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.
Cons:
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We went to a concert at the RAH and this hotel was ideal for us, convenient for that and Gloucester Road tube. Would use again if visiting RAH.
Cons: We were on the second floor so not so bad for us but lift space was very restricted. Also narrow corridors so had to ‘give way’ where necessary
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are wonderful, very helpful. Service was great. Main public rooms are beautiful and modern. Fantastic location just down from museums and a fifteen minute walk to Harrods.
Cons: The rooms can be a bit of a maze to get to.

Cons: An earlier check in would have been better. 3 o clock is quite late . We were going to proms at Hyde park so didn't actually get in room till after midnight and left again at 9.30 the following morning . But, a beautiful hotel and very comfortable.

Pros: Awesome location, girls behind the desk were lovely and helpful. Massive rooms and beautiful garden out the back.
Cons: I didn’t have breakfast included in my booking which was fine, I paid for my breakfast and after getting my breakfast the host asked me for my room number, he then came back and told me it wasn’t included very rudely, I then gave him my receipt and he continued to yell at me so I gave him my receipt again and he just said oh, no sorry or anything. But still a lovely breakfast just didn’t feel very welcome

Pros: Nice size rooms. Friendly staff. Clean.
Cons: Don't buy the breakfast. At nearly £20 each you should expect a certain standard. This was verging on dangerous. Undercooked bacon and sausage. Scrambled eggs were watery and a strange colour. Everything was cold. Literally the worst breakfast I've had in over 35 years of travelling.

Cons: noise isolation is not the best, it's a good thing it's in a quiet location , but still work in the street ( garbage disposal or something ) in the street outside woke my wife up some days ( we were in the 4th floor) mattress was a bit too hard for our taste ( we didn't complain about any of these to the hotel staff ... it could be that they could have done something not sure)

Pros: Nice, boutique hotel on a quiet street close to the Hyde park and 10 min walk from the Paddington station. We were upgraded to a jr. suite at no charge and it was a very pleasant bonus. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was welcoming a friendly.
Cons: They have 2 breakfast options: continental or hot English. We had a continental included in the price. There is a special person that instructs each guest on which breakfast they are entitled to have and that the hot breakfast is extra. Not very classy... I have a feeling they spend more money doing that and creating a negative vibe, as opposed to letting everyone have some scrambled eggs (how much can they cost?) and a good impression of the hotel.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Asked for 'wake up' call that did not materialize but still got to airport on time. Not a major issue for me because they were a 'backup' to iPhone alarm. Would stay there again!!

Cons: All very good!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location and access to tube stations was great
Cons: Room and bathroom were incredibly small and only suitable for one person.
6.0 Good
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the location to most things in the center of London. There are many restaurants and stores in the area also. The tube stop is down the street.
Cons: We stayed for 5 nights. We left a note after the first night asking for a couple of maintenance related things (light in bathroom was out and tub and sink was slighlt clogged). We also requested some wash cloths. Good for 3 days, not for 2.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location! Right near the tube and shops. Staff were very friendly and made sure my stay was the best it could be. Would highly recommend this place.
Cons: The only problem I reported was the remote control for the tv was clunky.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location for the high street and a short taxi ride from the Albert hall.
Cons: Beware of the £50 per NIGHT holding fee they charge as I didn’t see any detail on this when I booked. They also don’t refund it until 5-7 days after you check out which I also wasn’t made aware of until three follow up calls after. The room was also a bit shabby which I normally wouldn’t mind as we are real it’s just a place to rest your head people and are rarely in our room anywhere we go but it was an occasion stay and the room had very obvious paint touch ups needed and the staff weren’t rude by any means but not overly helpful or friendly either and I found being told to go sit down when ordering at the bar and then being charged a table service fee very strange.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: There was a wide choice at breakfast but although the cooked breakfast had reasonable quality food bacon beans etc cold one day and not very hot the other three days. The location was very good especially regarding the tube.
Cons: Not a serious complaint, but cleaners not speaking or understanding English.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location close to the shops and transport system
Cons: The front desk staff were not very helpful or willing to do any favors. Their attitude was cold and it was not just on one occasion but several

Pros: the brilliant location of the hostel - right inside the Holland park, lovely. The staffs are quite supportive, both the people serving the front desk and the kitchen. I will come back alone, only.
Cons: NEVER accept room 011 please. What I dislike is that the guests can remove all the silence in the whole coming in and out the hotel - as they may think this underground room cannot be with guest but a laundry or equipment room. -hope it is just because I picked the worst room 011. Nothing good except the bed- which must be available in all the rooms. And, we ordered the breakfast + dinner package for the two days while got a surprise day by day the canteen were reserved by some group from 18:00-21:00, and I was forced to take two late dinners around 21:30, without earlier warning. Too bad a service. It is a problem of management. It is my first score giving under 8, sadly.
4.2 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Sheets were dirty and dusty. dirty throughout.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was mostly as I'd expect. It was worth it for the price.
Cons: Guests were using the toilet/shower room in an odd way. Water and soapy foam all over the toilet seat and splashed most of everywhere in the area surrounding the toilet. Maybe some signs should be put up to show how people should use a toilet and shower correctly. Simple stuff, but I guess some idiots need it.

Pros:
Cons: it was really hard for to reach the place , in the late evening the halland park is closed almost all gates were closed , the google map could not lead me to the right pass , neither the staf can help out at, all , they have no clue about the closed gates anyhow finally after sufering long ,time since the begining it was amazing , lovely location, clean and friendly staf ,i love it ,

Cons: I did not like the fact that the shower only has hot water and very low pressure. Many other visitors complained of the same thing. No kitchen to cook in.

Cons: Labels of some rooms were not available/ visible As it was behind another door.

Pros: We had gone down for a charity swim in the Serpentine and the hotel was in an ideal location to where we needed to be. Our swim was early so although we missed out on breakfast we were still able to come back to the hotel to shower thanks to the later checkout.
Cons: There could have been better/ clearer parking facilities. Also the one lift was very small but okay for single use.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location at the top of Hyde Park, twenty mins walk to the shops of Oxford St.
Cons: Checked in and was met with a queue and also no welcome just a response of do you have ID for the room. We only booked the standard rooms, four of them and they were pretty basic and cramped for a hotel hitting £150plus a night. Wouldn’t stay again. I’d probably use some of the other smaller hotels and save some money. Expectations were higher than what was realised with this hotel. Also got woken up at 7.30 with a maintenance person knocking on next door for what seemed like minutes with no discretion.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, outstanding staff, beautiful architecture, bus stop and Underground a few hundred feet away. If traveling by Underground from Heathrow to the hotel, get off at the Lancaster Gate Station.
Cons: If you are from the US, they do not provide wash clothes with the towels. Mattress soft and worn in the middle. Full size bed is smaller than USA full staff.

Pros: The hotel reception looks nice.
Cons: The room is tiny! The shower didn't work and the carpet had squares cut out of it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge bed, lovely smell in the reception area, friendly staff and so close to Hyde park and very convenient for tube and Paddington Station
Cons: Child prices for breakfast
4.6 Okay
Pros: The Hall. There is a huge contrast between the Hall of the hotel that seems very luxuous and the room
Cons: The room was very small with no view, poor light, window with dificcult open and with translucid glass, dirty view to the back of the hotel with noisy machines; small toilet; the light enters from the borders of the entrance door; bad cleaning. It was very claustrophobic. There is a very contrast between the Hall of the hotel that seems very luxuous and the room. Unbelievable in actual times. Just went to the room to sleep every day, we stayed in the Hall the rest of time stayed in hotel. It was not possible to change room; listened other clients also contested some rooms, not know what or what exactly. Our room was 308. We felt discomfortable and thought even to pay and go to another hotel. The other rooms we don’t know how they lol like. Very bad price quality relation.

Cons: Cleanliness! Sheets where not changed before I got in. I had to sleep in the sheets that smelled of someone else's body the first night. It was disgusting!!! Pros: I really liked the night staff member - Lionel. I came in the middle of the night completely exhausted and his smile, his very warm approach has made me feel welcomed and safe. Honestly, I was a bit scared to stay in a hostel, especially because female dorm was not available at the time of the booking and the room is smaller than it is comfortable. He was polite, fun to talk to and helpful. I had genuine feeling he is a nice person to hang around. I was glad the locker inside of the room was big enough to store a small luggage and that in the bunk bed space you could find a plug, where to charge a phone. The long mirror in the room was also something I liked.

It was terrible to go toilet inside of the room as you could hear everything from the bathroom cubicle. Also I felt the bed curtains are not being changed after the guests left. There was no space to hang a towel, which is pretty annoying. The room ventilation was awful, there is a fan, which is noisy and terribly small window that opens at the bottom, not at the top - which I do not think is terribly safe or helping to ventilate.

Cons: The bed is not very comfortable, when one turns there is a sound like carton breaking.. Breakfast is a cheap thing.. Dry bread or croissants, coffee has lots of water in that tastes like nothing. The breakfast room is very noisy. The staff are very friendly and the location is very good near Hyde Park and Notting Hill.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Only positive was the location
Cons: The room was not as described or as the picture received. It was awful small, the bed just could be accessed by one side, the other was against the wall. The lavatory didn't have the pop-up drain lid, not only easy to loose whatever could fall in the sink, but showing gross dirty pipe every time we have to use it. The corridors carpet and walls were dirty. The receptionist Victoria, had a very bad attitude, not helpful at all, like if the customer was not important whatsoever, even when a different employee wanted to help changing the room, she denied it (may be she is the owner?). We stayed for 2 nights just because we paid in advance, when we came back at the end of first day they did not made the bed !!!! I guess it is not easy to fix it when there is just one side to access it. I recommend anyone to stay away of this hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great area, and clean rooms.
Cons: not enough space for suitcases in the rooms.
7.5 Good
Pros: The property looked amazing externally, and our room was lovely and extremely comfortable, newly refurbished and new coffee machine etc, we feel breakfast should have been added by the hotel for the price of the room
Cons: We went as a big family group as part of a 60th, some of the rooms should not have been let out to an animal never mind paying customers and the reception staff were not very friendly and complaints were not dealt with at weekends
1.0 Poor
Pros: Customer service was not that great the property is dirty, filthy, horrible, the rooms are dirty and very small for the amount of money. Most definitely not recommend. Too much money charged to stay on this property & it’s just a filthy dirty place to stay.
Cons:
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was really friendly and it was located far enough away from the main road to enjoy a peaceful nights rest. It was fairly close to the public transportation; Underground was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.
Cons: We had booked the 'cheap' room and found out it was in the basement with a window. The photos of the room when booking are NOT accurate. It was a very small room for two people. It was a bit inconvenient at times, but we made it work and did not complain.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was the main pull, the bathrooms were clean and newly refurbished, the room was basic but well presented, had a pretty pleasant view of a park from my room. Breakfast was surprisingly good, even if the seating was a bit basic. Daytime reception were really friendly and efficient. Great value for money.
Cons: All of the walls in the room and were really grubby, and the sheets were dotted with worrying stains. The evening reception staff were pretty unprofessional, blasting music and not helpful at all. There also doesn't seem to be much in the way of soundproofing, and the halls were extremely noisy.
6.3 Good
Pros: location not bad Breakfast staff very good despite so many people
Cons: Room too small. Got a lower one, not so claustraphobic. Supposed to have a bath. Told only for basic rooms . I had a supreme room Breakfast terrible. Hard to get table and food not good
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine, and it was easy to find the hotel. We were on the 4th floor and the room was samll but adequate.
Cons: The sheets were a bit scratchy and the carprets were worn looking.

Pros: Room was dirty, blood on sheets, no hair dryer like advertised and when asked, given a small one covered in sellotape to hold it together. Hotel was under construction but you only new that when you turn up. Very dirty, and we paid for breakfast, it was in a basement with no windows and two baskets, one with bread and croissant, butter. Cheap cornflakes and coffee erne that was nasty.
