1.2 km from
Wonderful location, near the Tower Hill tube stop, and the National Rail, near the Thames, lots of food options, walk to anywhere. Room/bath clean and neat, spacious and modern. No issues, would stay here again!
Proximity to public transport and Tower Bridge. No air conditioning. Price for breakfast was what one would pay for a better hotel in the U.S.!!
only there one night but easy to reach all attractions nothing
Wonderful location, really close to London Bridge tubestation, and Southbank. Very clean, comfortable room. The poor understanding of English shown by bar staff and chambermaids.
Nice hotel, great location, near the Tower Hill station Price is a bit expensive Room was with view to the roof of the lobby which isn't nice :-(
Public room space, sky tower lounge views. Underground garage. Small rooms, queen bed.
Bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and willing to help give directions and recommendations. Breakfast in hotel lobby was not that appetizing. I would recommend finding another spot for breakfast.
Convenient central location in City of London, near to Tower, river, transport etc Very poor value breakfasts - limited choice of cereal, 'toast' more like lukewarm bread
Location not too far from center London with good restaurants and bars across the street. Bed not confortable and tv positionned at a weird location far from the bed.
The shower never drain. it was water all at your feet. The door was broken . It was hard to close. I thought the room was bigger but it wasn't. It had a moldy smell
the food, both breakfast and the evening meal were excellent
The room was very nice and cozy. I requested a baby cot and when we checked in they told me it was ready in the room. But when we arrived in the room there was no baby cot. I called and they told me they had none left and that maybe the next day one would be available. I was really cross since I requested it in March. The following morning they brought one up for us.
free upgrade was great, lovely breakfast, comfortable bed, nice clean room
the location is perfect for an event at O2 arena nothing
This building is intended for student housing for the London School of Economics, but in the off season it rents out like a hotel. As such, the rooms are fairly bare and unadorned, but that's fine by me as I didn't spend much time in the rooms aside from sleeping. Food: On premises there is a cafeteria that serves hot breakfast (bacon, fried potatoes, fried bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal, sausage, eggs, etc). The breakfast tastes like college food, but it's plentiful. There is also dinner some days I guess, but I never attended it. There is also a nice bar! There is pool, darts and foosball. The drinks are VERY cheap (think student prices). Location: The new Tate Modern building is being built nearby, and I think it may be done by the time the next summer season rolls around. The current one is very close by as are several bridges, the BlackFriars train stop, Borough market (very fun), many food options, the walkway along the river and the Globe Theatre. Honestly, I thought this place was great. The only issue I encountered was that someone was smoking somewhere on our floor and it smelled pretty bad.
The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. Fresh towels and soap every day. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The water pipes were so old you were not supposed to dring water from the faucet. There was lots of mold in the shower and the bed was basically a fold-out.
Very good location, the room was perfect, but the bed was a dream, the best sleep ever, kind like sleep in thje clouds, good staff, quality food, Have to pay for internet
Excellent location with friendly and informative reception staff. Room comfortable and quiet and rooms etc. well signposted. Well appointed restaurant with lovely view over the river. Soap dispenser in bathroom flimsy and did not work well. Restaurant for breakfast was cramped. Waiters were rushing around and general atmosphere was hectic. Several things were spilt. Coffee was cold and was located in a corner. Had to squeeze past people queueing for toast with a potentially hot drink which I assessed as being a hazard. A review of the layout might help this and maybe a new system of serving hot drinks so that they could be served fresh and hot.
