Pros: Good value for money, you will be happy as long as you know what to expect. Toilets and showers are shared, but they proved to be enough and very clean. There's also a common kitchen where you can cook. The breakfast buffet was very nice, but there were long queues some times. The location is pretty good, it's possible to walk to the city center (20 minutes to Picadilly) and there are many metro lines nearby.

Pros: My party arrived late in the evening and the member of staff on duty was very helpful. Our room was comfortable and very clean and being at the back of the building there was no traffic noise. Our continental breakfast was what would usually be served but staff did ask if there was anything else they could provide and tea and toast was made as required. There was always a good supply of fresh fruit and fridge items were constantly replaced.

Pros: The small size of my room makes it quite cozy, kinda of 'all-in-one' style, with private bathroom. The room service is impeccable, everyday I returned to my room it looked like all new again. The location is in Kensington, a rather 'posh' area in the city as the cab driver told me, pretty safe as I walked in the neighbourhood after 11 p.m. several times. The hotel also provides discount cards of various London tourist attractions at the entrance of the rooms, I used one for city cruise with 20% off. Overall, I find it perfect for family or single tourists to enjoy London (maybe not in summer though), and I definitely would choose this hotel next time I visit London for leisure.

Cons: It was really small for a family of 4 with luggages. I would say for the size of the room a bit too expensive.

Pros: Clean room, comfy bed, great location (especially for Olympia and Ken High St) lovely staff
Cons: Breakfast might have been a little more varied but that's really nitpicking for the price
6.7 Good
Pros: Cleanliness Location
Cons: Room was very very small. There was no Elevator so we had to take luggage all the way up to top floor. Staff did not agree to our request of lower floor room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The small size of my room makes it quite cozy, kinda of 'all-in-one' style, with private bathroom. The room service is impeccable, everyday I returned to my room it looked like all new again. The location is in Kensington, a rather 'posh' area in the city as the cab driver told me, pretty safe as I walked in the neighbourhood after 11 p.m. several times. Overall, I find it perfect for family or single tourists to enjoy London (maybe not in summer though), and I definitely would choose this hotel next time I visit London for leisure.
Cons: Well, the hotel is more like a home-stay kind of hotel, so the facilities are not very modern, therefore no AC system, and no socket on the bedside. I had to open the window every night for ventilation otherwise it would be quite hot in my room, but the noise right down on the street would make it difficult to fall asleep. The layout of the room does not make sense very much, the armchair in the small room is totally useless since I can't stretch my legs in the chair anyway.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was great and safe. I traveled with my son and it was very important for me to be in a safe area.
Cons: I have to say the price. It was a little pricey while I know London is an expensive city.

Pros: The location was great and the breakfast was surprisingly very good . the price is very economical considering the location .
Cons: The Shared shower is shared by 5 rooms. When I arrived the shower was not functional and puddles were all over the floor with the staff leaving towels on the floor to dry up the puddles. Therefore they told me to use another shower shared by another 5 rooms. Hence, I never showered. Fortunately I was only there for one night The bed wasn't clean. there were yellow stains on the comforter . I would not recommend this hotel I would prefer next time to spend a bit more money to stay at a nicer place .

Pros: My room was small and compact, however it’s very clean and comfortable, great price and location,
Cons:
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a whole apartment! I wish I had stayed for more than one night!
Cons: The ceiling in the ‘bedroom’ was very low. Careful if you are tall.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great bathroom. Super clean. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Room is very small. So is the bad. Tube can be heard and the building shake a bit all night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Its hard to complain about a smart 22 sq metre one bed bedroom apartment in Earls Court (Borough of Kensington and Chelsea) booked at the last minute for £55 on booking.com. Amazing value. If you see it, book it.
Cons: Nothing.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room too small. Not recommended for claustrophobic people Bed is not comfortable and of course shower is too small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean large executive double room. Breakfast great. Lift so you don’t have to lug your suitcase up the stairs. Great location around the corner from tube.
Cons: N/A
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfy beds
Cons: Apartment was on Warwick road and lots of traffic noise
4.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel was well-situated near a Tube stop. Front desk staff were friendly.
Cons: The room was small (despite being described as an "executive" room with more space), we had no telephone, and the "desk" could hardly function as a bedside table (which were completely absent). We never sampled the included breakfast because the line was so long (and/or the space so small) that we could not even see into the room to see what was offered.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: You might like this hotel prices and location but this is a trap.
I stayed in this hotel twice and both times were bad and I documented it with pictures and video.
My first stay the gave me a room in the basement with a view of walking pedestrians feet and the sound of cars tires and the entrance door was the place where they keep their garbage bags.... but that wasn't the real problem... the real problem was the entrance was full of mice! So I complained to the hotel about this and they moved me to another room.
In my second stay, they gave me a room on the 2nd floor without an elevator and I had to carry my suitcases alone though the narrow staircase without any offer to help me with it. and it's important to mention that the is room in a building around the block about half a km (about 1000 feet) from the hotel lobby.
While I was sleeping in the tiny bedroom exhausted from the two floors staircase I woke up from dripping water! the ceiling light was dripping water on me! I since the room doesn't have a phone to call the front desk I had to walk to the down the street to the front desk to tell them to check it out and water with electricity doesn't mix! so I had to wait for about 3 hours then they asked me to go back room to find nothing changed then I called them from my mobile phone so I don't have to walk to them again under the rain. after an hour a maintenance guy who smelled like he had a lot to drink looked at it then told me that they can't fix it.
a few hours after several calls later they told me to gather my important stuff and check-in another hotel to spend that night in it.
the next day they asked me to move to another room in a different building and again it's in the basement.
After all that and on my checkout day I asked to extend my checkout for an hour and they said you have to pay £10 for an extra hour. I told them I had to move from 3 different rooms during my stay with you and you ask me for £10?! the rude hotel receptionist said "if you are not happy with this write a bad review about it, but this is the hotel policy"
So this is the review you asked for.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was beautifully presented
Cons: but the double bed was two beds pushed together which resulted in a deep groove between the two beds. So it wasn't as comfortable as you'd expect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just perfect .
Cons: no thing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was comfortable, spacious and clean tough with quite old furniture. There is also a cute small garden to access from the breakfast room
Cons: To be a 4 stars hotel I would have expected at least satellite TV channels and a better breakfast which I found very poor as choices

Pros: Clean linen and towels both days. Comfortable bed. Decent tea and coffee making facilities
Cons: Tiny, dark, ground floor room at the back of the hotel with no outlook at all. Toilet outside the bedroom, we had to go out of the room into a small lobby to access the toilet, and there was a clear glass window in the door of the lobby with view to the front door of the hotel and outside. Worse still, the shower room was upstairs outside another bedroom, accessed through the lobby and up a small flight of stairs. Shower room was not too bad, but no space to dress/undress or anywhere to hang clothes or towels

Cons: No lift. Very long, narrow stairs to room on top floor. No air conditioning. The breakfast was very basic and the breakfast room was tiny and therefore crowded. Breakfast was only provided between 8 and 9. Lots of pillows but no variety of firmness so we couldn't find a comfortable combination. The shower room was a tiny addition shoe-horned into the corner of the room.

Pros: location to tube station
Cons: bathroom disgustingly small for three people, even for one person. Room not cleaned well- only 2 cups for tea/coffee in a triple room, that was likely originally a storage room. Beds changed , maybe with new sheets. Bathroom not cleaned, dirty glasses and garbage still on counter. Window left open when we were out, a security risk. Front desk person wanted to charge for luggage when website stated free. Another front desk person told him it was free. would not recommend to anyone I know

Pros: The location and the price are tempting, considering how expensive is London. It is very close to Paddington station, where I arrived by the Heatrow express. The staff is very kind, in special at the breakfast space, and breakfast is reasonable. I decided to go one day before and there was no problem to cancel the reservation.
Cons: This is an old hotel, with no lift, not very clean. The rooms are quite small. And to shower is not easy in the space of the bathroom. The breakfast space is also small, and there were always people waiting to seat. Do not expect anything fancy. All is simple and not very confortable.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice breakfast
Cons: The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom

Pros: The price for a private room in London is good. Location is decently close to attractive areas Soho, Westminster, etc... but not by walking distances.
Cons: Rooms are ridiculous small, hellish stairways access to rooms, decoration and furniture is depressing, bed was uncomfortable
(at least for me), paper walls you can hear everything from others rooms, the neighborhood paddington is dead no mayor tourists attractions by walking distance or parties or pubs or whatever everything is closed at 11:30pm or so... you will always have to take the bus and getting back is tricky since busses or tubes aren't stopping in Paddington at the time of writing this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Very good breakfast for £3. Clean and comfortable though small room. Helpful guy on Reception who offered me a choice of rooms and carried my case up two flights of stairs.
Cons: No lift. Breakfast room in basement. My room in an adjacent building.
7.1 Good
Pros: Useful free wifi. Friendly, welcoming staff in reception; prompt response to door bell late at night. Good staff also in breakfast room promptly clearing tables etc. Reasonable choice for breakfast.
Cons: Single room was very small, and four floors up, all steps, but to be fair as expected for cheap hotel in this area. Bed small and a bit rickety. Would have preferred liquid milk portions in room for use in tea, instead of the sachets of dried product. Breakfast room somewhat crowded. Scrambled eggs appeared to be cold both days. Overall OK but rough at edges.

4.8 Okay
Pros: The only plus point for this hotel is it’s proximity to the main rail line at Paddington and the underground. The area does have a good variety of restaurants nearby that can satisfy most budgets. The breakfast is okay with sufficient options for the price paid,
Cons: The decor is old as are all of the appliances in the room, the vent fan in the WC and the refrigerator made more noise than the Paddington trains. The breakfast room is very small and guests are left in a state of limbo as to what they should do when all tables are occupied. I was staying in the main building but overheard two guests being redirected to an annex, the instructions on how to get to the rooms were lengthy and confusing for a visitor to London, I felt that they should have been escorted to their rooms or to the annex building at the very least.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect, close to sightseeing bus stops, trains, tube, buses. Walking distance to several shops, pubs, restaurants but quiet during the night. No problem to get a good sleep. Staff is friendly and welcoming, room was basic but clean and cosy.
Cons: Breakfast room is far too small for the amount of people. Had to skip breakfast as there was no place left.

Pros:
Cons: The manager needs to do more auditing of the rooms prior to guests arriving I had one broken stool and one missing light globe and the shower water was in danger of overflowing before the hot water commenced

Pros: Location close to Victoria Station. Easy walk even with luggage. Breakfast was very good. Great value for money.
Cons: Curtains needed mending, washing. Bed a bit hard. No secure storage in room (lock box).

Pros: The only good thing about this hotel is the location.
Cons: The room was very small and not insulated. The bathroom was a clear add-on, as the walls didn't reach the ceiling. There was no room to move around in the bathroom. The walls were very thin, you can hear neighbors blowing their nose or using the restroom
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast wasn't bad which was served quickly (although this might have been that a long queue was forming) Close to Victoria station Balcony ( cig butts)
Cons: I shall put them in order of inconvenience; 1. When asked for drinking water was told to go to a shop over the road. 2.in the morning the shower was unusable as the water was just tepid. Generally unclean in the shower/toilet room. 3. We had to queue for a breakfast table or share. Although the the breakfast was not bad. 4.the hotel was generally grubby and in disrepair. 5. Old cigarette butts still on the balcony. 6. At £99 a night I hoped for a little more (I know it's london) 7. Ceiling light as you enter not working 8. No lift had to carry bags up the stairs.

Pros: Location was fine. Nothing else
Cons: Drainage problems with sink and shower The shower was ancient, very small and the spray didn't work The booking confirmation stated a double bed....I had two 2'6" singles....too small Both kettle or tea/coffee Decor poor and standard of bedlinen poor
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all!!!
Cons: Everything! Equal to a night in hell! Cold water in the shower, towel on the floor in front of the shower, probably left behind the previous guest, bathroom sink just as big as a breakfast plate, used soap left on the sink...I had to use a drinking glass and fill it with warm water from the bathroom sink in order to ‘take a shower’. If it hadn’t been that late and if I hadn’t been that exhausted - and above all! - had the receptionist given me a ‘normal’ look on arrival, I would have definitely complained. Awful experience in the middle of the night! Eggs served for breakfast were floating in oil, sausage tasted like plastic, coffe and tea had some undescribable taste... I arrived at 2am because of a very delayed flight and the receptionist gave me a look that resembled of the unsaid: ‘what do you want now, in the middle of the night???’ All in all - stay as far away as possible from this gloomy place! Terrible!! The only good thing was a location but it is definitely something that could be attributed to this total misery of a hotel.
5.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: In the bath we found some dirty soap opened; we asked the receptionist a favour, to print our boarding pass but he refused.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: I hope it have lift. Drinking water quality to be improved.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Location is excellent. Rooms and toilets were cleaned everyday. Fresh towels were provided.
Cons: Toilets are very very small. No kettle in the room so no morning coffee. Hairdryers are provided only on request. I made a request for a first or ground floor room while booking because of my knee condition. The person at the reception was not very helpful and they gave us a second floor room. The property has no lifts. So I maynot want to stay here on my next visit.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable although small, great location, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: The shower...frequently no hot water but instant in the sink!
8.3 Excellent

Pros: The hotel is very close to king's cross station
Cons: I stayed in a basement room, accessed by a tiny staircase. It felt a bit unsafe with an external flight of stairs outside my window as a lone female traveller. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The only thing that was any good were the receptionists, we met 3 and they were all smiley and friendly, oh yes and clean cotton sheets.
Cons: Where do I start. Very very run down and shabby, carpet in room very stained and dirty, room smelt despite the window being open, bathroom a dribble of hot water, literally. Mould on all the grouting, the top above the window was rotten and cracked. The bathroom windows had plastic stuck of them for privacy but it was all peeling off. Bed was very lumpy and had a bar across the middle. My fixed beside shelf was falling off at an angle. The bed was very small, looked bigger in all the pictures. We went downstairs and looked at breakfast and walked out and went to a cafe at Kings Cross. No more Comfort Inns for us.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was very handy for station and easy to find. The room was a good size with everything needed in it. The breakfast was fine - just continental, croissants etc. but OK.
Cons: Arrived quite late at night, and reception closed so had to wait until staff arrived (a very nice young lady). This was OK as I was with my partner but would be unhappy if I had been on my own. A bit strange to then have to go back outside to another entrance and the swipe card didn't work so had to go back and ask her to come and open the door. Breakfast room in the basement was very small and crowded

4.0 Okay
Pros: The location and ease of checking in/checking out
Cons: I was at the top room and there were a lot of noises which appear to be coming from the boiler/pipes which were incredibly loud

Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel needs a good deep cleaning smells stale
10.0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: Friendly staff comfortable location I'm strongly recomended
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I wouldn't give it even 2.5. Room was tiny, squalid. Bed rickety. Only 1 pillow each. Pervading damp smell and indeed whole outside wall was wet, with flakey plaster and paint and salts building up. There was heavy rain and much of this fell inside the room, drenching the curtains and carpet. Shower was OK. But no plug in sink. Thankfully we were only staying the one night.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: 2 room changes because of bad smells and a double bed after booking a twin for work away and the 3rd had a pair of ladies underwear on the cupboard.. the shower was filthy and they wouldn't even give me products to clean it myself! rude staff no help with any problems Absolute waste of money

Pros: No breakfast. Good location, near the tube station
Cons: The drawers were all broken, we had to leave our clothes in our suitcase. The window was open all the time. There was a nitrous oxide canister under the bed from the previous guest.

1.0 Poor
Pros:
Cons: The room did not have a deadbolt or chain lock, and the tiny handle lock felt extremely insecure. The front desk person never looked up, and it felt extremely possible that someone could break into the room.

Pros: It is a good location.
Cons: Employees stood outside my window talking and smoking all the time. Something out in the hall right by my door beeped all night. The TV only worked sometimes. One morning there was no hot water. I knew this was not a luxury hotel, but this was really bad. Some other reviewers said it was pretty good and the breakfast was great. I disagree!!!
