Pros: On approach to the hotel a member of staff asked if I was looking for the Devonshire and immediately took my bags and guided to the reception where I was quickly and pleasantly checked in. I found my bags already in my room and everything nicely ready to commence my stay. The room was wonderfully quiet and I slept well in a very nice firm bed. The room temperature was easily alterable, the bathroom nice and all the facilities as one would hope. Breakfast next day was equally fine, with prompt, attentive, friendly, unintrusive service. I would very happily stay again and I would recommend the Devonshire and its staff.

Pros: Bed comfort very good. Good shower.
Cons: Air con was noisy making repeated cracking sounds. Could hear adjacent room rolling the blinds and walking around. At breakfast hot food is ordered. Waitress asked our drink order then it didn't come. She then asked again when taking food order like it wasn't mentioned before. Ordered food along with toast, toast never arrived. Balcony room not worth the upgrade as one uncomfortable metal chair and when sat on surrounded by a high wall. Can also hear neighbours patio doors opening and closing which woke us whilst trying to sleep.

Pros: Location is great. Good room sizes for central London. Large bathrooms. Quiet location (slept one night with my balcony door open).
Cons: Hotel was very warm in the room and in common areas.
The hotel also tried to overcharge us for breakfast (charged the whole group for deluxe breakfasts when we intentionally just ordered a la carte. Business travelers on an expense account probably don't bother with arguing with first the waiter and then a supervisor.
Staff repeatedly gave incorrect information about nearby road closures for various parades.

Pros: The hotel was absolutely beautiful.
Cons: We had some trouble with checking into the hotel and spent almost an hour standing at the reception desk before being checked in. We had paid for a double room with included both a shower and separate bath. There was no bath. The room itself looked nice but was not as big as advertised. We came back to the room after enjoying drinks and entertainment downstairs within the hotel. Pulled back the bed covers to find a nice dirty sock that didn’t belong to us. In the morning we woke up to a foul blocked toilet that absolutely stank and was quite obviously out of use. We called the hotel staff who told us there wasn’t actually anything they could do about it immediately and would send an engineer. However the issue still wasn’t even attended to by the time we checked out. Extremely disappointing given the amazing reviews we read about before choosing this hotel.

Cons: when we checked in the “pre authorisation” was not explained to use properly. Therefore they was going to charge us twice. However when addressed we relieved a complimentary breakfast and free late check out. Also booking.com said we got breakfast included within the price and when We arrived this was not the case. When we called booking.com they was extremely rude and they hung up on us. TERRIBLE customer service.

Cons: I stayed at the Ned on a Saturday night so the bar/restaurant area downstairs was extremely busy. This in turn caused quite a bit of noise. My room was quite low, so maybe if you have a room on a higher floor the noise won’t be an issue. Honestly, it didn’t bother me one bit, but I wanted to mention it as it might throw some people off guard. They do supply ear plugs in the room.

Pros: Stunning hotel, amazing staff, nice decor, and very comfortable bed. We arrived early in the morning and to my surprise were able to check-in to our room right away. I was also pleasantly surprised to be 'guest of the day'! We received a small chocolate platter, a couple of vouchers, and very attentive staff making sure we were comfortable. Very pleasant stay!

Pros: The staff were amazing all the way through from our check in experience to leaving the hotel. Waiting to check in we received a glass of Prosecco at check in we were given a free upgrade. The rooms were very clean with all amenities up to a great standard. When heading out in the evening in the reception area there were canapés and wine for guests. And the next day when heading out to explore the city we were given advice and even offered an umbrella in case it rained. Sometimes it’s the small things that count!

Pros: Quiet rooms, good air-conditioning, superb buffet breakfast, complimentary wine in lobby from 6:00-9:00 PM, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks in room.

Pros: Great location. Comfortable room and good WiFi
Cons: Expensive. Complementary minibar was not restocked on several occasions and we had to complain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were surprised by an upgrade and what a room it was. On a corner with views over the streets. Great facilities and a really comfortable bed. Modern rooms in a wonderful building.
Cons: Only thing really wrong was the distance from the elevators to the room but exercise is good for you.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Staff over-the-top friendly and eager to please. Room was quite basic and spartan, but very clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: The ancient pipes whined like sad puppies every time I used the sink, but I got used to it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Second visit in as many months. Fantastic staff as before. Food and drinks very good. Ambiance is fantastic. Can't wait to come back again.
Cons:

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Noisy drunk clients in next room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stuff is great and friendly. The location is excelent, few steps from the ungerground. The hotel and room are looking great and comfy. You have free coffe and drinks in minibar what is very friendly. USB chargers everywhere around the room. A huge TV if you need with apple screen share feature.
Cons: King room is like a normal room in other hotels regarding size and features. The heating was not working (in fact it was cooling), so we received a mobile heater. There was no bath, only shower (in a King room).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The service is amazing. Very thoughtful. We traveled with our son and they surprised him with a coloring book and pencils which was placed in the room. We would definitely stay here again!
Cons: I can’t think of anything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel.
Cons: The breakfast could be better. If I stay again I wouldn’t include the breakfast. The eggs were slimy and undercooked. No meat options for those that’s don’t eat pork. Could’ve offered waffles and pancakes, more breakfast staples.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful where they could have been.
Cons: The beds were uncomfortable and personally too soft as I have had surgery on my lower back. One feature was high speed internet but I had real problems connecting while I held business conference calls in my room which in the end lead to me having to host them via my own internet hotspot.
9.2 Excellent

Pros: The facilities and the room itself exceeded our expectations. We arrived to be told our room had been upgraded which was fantastic thank you very much.
Cons: We were kept up most of the night due to scaffolding work that was being carried out opposite which wasn’t pleasant as we paid so much for a room we could hardly sleep in. Also, slightly gutted that we was looking forward to the secret garden bar that we were not allowed to even go to or experience as there was a private party. Overall I’m not very impressed with the £360 I have paid.
7.5 Good
Pros: Gregory at front desk very helpful. Arranged earlier check in and I could use gym and shower until room was ready
Cons:
7.5 Good
Pros: Service and location great for the Barbican
Cons: Not putting a dog bowl in my mums room - we don’t have dogs mixed up with another guest but sorted swiftly. I didn’t like that we could use the secret garden much as there were functions on. Should let guests know in advance.
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff that we encountered on Checkin in were great. They were amazing and very accommodating. Some staff in the outdoor bar were not that nice when they saw us. Which was sad
Cons: The actually room wasn’t that great. Paid for 2 add ins and they didn’t leave up to anyone’s expectations. Considering this was for a wedding nights stay- not very good. Phone and remote control laced with dirt- byway disgusting.

Pros: The location is very convenienct both for business and sightseeting. The room was reasonably spacious and quiet.
Cons: The lobby near the reception was not scpacious enough, although I feel it might be inevitable due to the lacation (the city centre).

Pros: The location next to the business district, modern facilities, a walk to the London bridge tourist area. Great plesant customer service staff
Cons: THE WEED/CANNABIS SMELL!!!!! Whenever you leave your room with aircon on, the moment you come back you will smell a strong weed like smell throughout the whole room. Number of times we we came back from sightseeing, we would have to open our door to the foyer hallway to air out the smell. The staff said it was due to the outside gutter smell of London and the staff were kind enough to offer a change of room the following monday as they were very booked out that weekend however since we just arrived after a 22hr flight from Australia we were just really tired.

Cons: It was a touch noisy. We heard a lot of clomp-clomp-clomp from the room above us -- not sure if he was just a heavy walker or if there was a breakdown in soundproofing. I also heard things like a baby crying at one point. That's really the only thing that keeps this from being a five-star review all the way round. There was also a little noise from outside on Saturday night, though I feel like that's expected in the heart of London at the weekend -- white-noise generator on my phone was enough to drown that out, but not so with the guy upstairs.

Pros: Fantastic staff amazing room and food amazing.
Cons:
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived hours before check in and were planning to just drop off our bags, but were happy to be able to check in early and get settled before heading off for the day. Our room was comfortable, and for being on the 8th floor we had a nice view of some of the famous skyscrapers in the area. Room service was excellent after a long night out and breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced.
Cons: The tube stop directly next door was closed for weekend maintenance, so we found ourselves having to walk to and from either Liverpool St or East Aldgate. This was not the hotel’s fault but it was a minor inconvenience considering we picked the hotel based on the fact it was next to a station. I imagine if you’re staying here during the week that’s not an issue but weekend trip guests might want to reconsider, especially if you’re like us and had heavy bags. The rooftop bar was a fabulous view but £27 for two drinks was a double take. But that’s London, so.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent position, nice room, very clean.
Cons: In general, I prefer an "open" breakfast, where I don't have to order from a menu.

Pros: Stylish rooms and great location

Pros: Loved the decoration - very well thought through. Funky designs in bedrooms - loved the Elemis products & other touches like Nespresso machine & robes. Room very clean & fab views. All in an excellent find.
Cons: Nothing - I loved it

Pros: Location proximity to my office
Cons: Night time noise that disturbed my sleep. Sounded like water pipes were surrounding the room and constantly running.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, SkyTV channels, cheeses and wine everyday for free, all night bar, free instatnt coffee in the room, relatively good choice of restaurants near the hotel.
Cons: These are not issues per se but just so people are aware: the cheese+wine is available between 5pm-8pm in the bar area. Still great and more than most hotels do but if you were expecting it in your room, no. Some rooms are below street level and there is no mobile signal. Free wifi is good though. The rooms that have no windows have a little red light which is always on and cannot be turned off. That's probably to make up for the complete lack of street light, without it the darkness would be full and you wouldn't even be able to find the light switches but some people might prefer it. I would. The room is spectacularly small but I was suprised that it was still more than enough for one person (or a couple very much in love :-). An iron is not in the room but the staff will bring one+board if you ask. Shower stream not very strong but that's normal in London.

Pros: Great location. Clean rooms.
Cons: Prepayment basis only, no chance of cancelling the booking or changing the dates, if need be. No breakfast is included into the booking options. Double room is too small, even for one guest. Open WiFi requires additional secure connection.

Pros: Location Front desk staff
Cons: Rooms are tiny. But maybe this is typical of London?

Pros: If you know what to expect from a Z Hotel in terms of room size etc, then there’s no surprises here. Very clean and well-located. Super-friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: A bit pricey for the size.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The free cheese and wine buffet. Nice touch.
Cons: No water at all. Rather essential to take a shower, shave, brush your teeth, flush etc before a very important business meeting. The bed is rather short.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: If the hotel was just a few feet bigger it would be do able. Too small for a couple and no where to put my suit case. Need a table for suit case
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds and bathroom were comfortable. The satélite tv was good. The staff is very friendly. The location is excellent. Within walking distance to soho and Covent Garden.
Cons: The room is extremely small. No closet or room to walk around. There is only about 5 feet between the beds and the bathroom. Only 1 person can move around at a time. After the 1 day got the hang of it and made it work. The bathroom and room is divided by frosted glass. It did not provide privacy for families.
10.0 Excellent
