Cons: $1,000 per night (all in) is a ludicrously high price for a 3-star room that has not been renovated for a long time. WiFi connection is unreliable. The hotel is obviously extremely busy in the period before Xmas and can get away with excessive pricing, but it has pushed me to look elsewhere next time. The location is the only benefit to this hotel.

Cons: Hotel charged me twice for same stay! Spent days trying to clear that up. For the price, should provide service to and from airport. Views are non-existent. Nothing but a brick wall and people peering at you from their windows so had to keep blinds closed

Cons: The staff seemed indifferent. The revolving door wasn't working, so we had to go in through side doors. The doormen (sometimes as many as three) just stood around watching, not helping at all with the doors, which were heavy. Breakfast in the lobby: we were seated and I asked the purpose seating us to bring coffee. He said the server would be right with us. After 5 minutes there was no server to been seen. Why didn't the person seating us just bring us coffee? Very mediocre attitude. This hotel was not at all worth the price we paid.

I'd really rather go without the service, and allow the hotel to cut down on the costly replenishing service. Rooms do have a functional refrigerator, minibar size, which you can stuff with your own purchases.

Cons: The small interior Superior King room felt like a bomb shelter with no window. The fire alarm was triggered 3 times by the hotel cleaning staff in the middle of the night. It was scary and awful! Totally unacceptable.

Cons: Expefia booked us for only one night when I had asked for two. I did not catch the error in my confirmation email. When I checked in the clerk mentioned checking out after only one night. I poibted out the error and the staff person said “No problem.” The bext day about 1:00 the hotel manager calked me to say our reservation had expired and that we had to cone get out things or make another reservation at a much higher rate, over twicecas much as we’d paid through Expedia. We told her wecwould discuss this after we returned from the afternoon play and dinner. We did and refused to pay the higher fee of $525, collected our luggage and left heading out JFK and getting a hotel there giving we were due at 7:30 am the next morning. As we were leaving a staff person offered us a $350 rate. But by that time we were committed and left. If we had been offered this rate at checkin when the problem was identified we would have grafulky accepted the offer.

You can grab you morning coffee in cafe on first floor or walk 3 minutes to Bagel cafe on the corner of 3rd Avenue. Restrooms on the floor were always clean, friendly staff. Defenetly will stay here in the next time.

It's equally far from central park and times square. I had to move tô another hotel that was way better and cheaper(first time i did that).

Cons: Not all the staff were polite or bothered at all to talk to you at the reception desk. There were things like slippers, coffee and tea maker missing in the room although they were included in the description of the room. It was a bit cold in the room and we used the heater which was old and extremely noisy. Otherwise a good hotel for the price and location.

Pros: The location was excellent and provided close proximity to the theater district as well as shopping and restaurants.
Cons: The room itself while clean was rundown. The sink in the bathroom was very high and didn’t drain well and the cabinetry was cracked and peeling. Also, the room smelled very closed up and stuffy when we arrived.

Cons: I don't understand why this is considered 4 stars hotel. So many things to complaint but the worst one being their sheets were the worst sheets I slept on in my life. They were as if I was sleeping in plastic. My boyfriend LITERALLY burnt his elbow by moving it through the sheets on his sleep!! Also they do not use queen size sheets , they will all come of in the middle of the night, they make the bed to look pretty but terrible to sleep on. I had to wake up every night and my boyfriend and I would have to make up the bed entirely. Also by doing that we found there is no mattress protector at all and mattress had lots of yellow stains of who knows what from who knows who!!! Also the bathroom door was made of glass and lots of light would come in at night and in the morning. I had to hang up a blanket on top of it so that I could sleep as I hate light when sleeping! Apart from this, this is not the only complaint, also you can hear everything as the walls are as if they were made of paper, could hear conversations of the other people and could not sleep at night as I heard elevator opening the entire time outside of my door. On top of that I know it is NYC but the elevator is tiny. Do not come here if you have wheelchair or something like that as you will not fit in the elevator! Regarding heating, don't even think turning on the heater or the air while you sleep unless you plan on not sleeping all night, the noise that thing made was extremely loud and annoying, had to ask for extra blanket and sleep with heater/air off every night in the winter.

Pros: The best part of this place is the location. You can get pretty much anywhere quite easily due to it's great location. Many people complained about staff, but the whole staff I interacted with was nice. I was expected a tiny room (and don't get me wrong, it is tiny), but it was bigger than I expected. The room was clean, had a mini fridge and was always warm (sometimes too warm, specially if you pack cozy pajamas). The shared bathrooms were my biggest concern, but they were always clean and I never had to stay in line to shower or brush my teeth. On top of that, there was even the option to store our luggage on the last day after check out for only $2, which was very useful as we only had an evening flight and wanted to enjoy the city in the afternoon without carrying everything with us. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely repeat my stay if I go back to NYC.

Cons: One women’s toilet for 30 rooms, and dirty when I arrived that evening. 1 shower for 30 rooms as well. The bedroom was way overheated, and despite maintenance coming to adjust the temperature, it remained hot. Worst was loud banging in the heat pipes every 1/2 hour throughout the night, so I barely slept.

Cons: The noisy heater! It was making such a terrible loud noise and interrupted my sleep during my stay. I wish they can do something about that. I don’t mind staying here again next time but not during winter because of their heater problem.
