Great location, staff, cleanliness. Had two double beds for an affordable price. Towels were a bit scratchy, bathroom was small.
Beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. Location couldn't be better. If you enjoy luxury this is the place.
My experience made every other hotel I have stayed at seem 5-Star! I paid over $----- for the night and checked out to sleep at a hotel staffed by sane people. The security guard Patrick banging on my hotel door demanding entry and falsely accusing me of smoking marihuana. I am a 55 year old man and my guest was a medical doctor. No phone call, No 'Sorry to bother you sir...' Just an unhinged rent-a-cop. Wow!
If you want impeccable service, and enjoy every amenity you could think of, then this is your hotel! Everything from friendly service to comfortable clean rooms, this hotel delivers. It's close to everything interesting, theatre, shopping, restaurants. I can't wait to return! Thank you St. Regis. A fun-filled weekend that gave us a life time of memories.
The staff were friendly and so helpful. The rooms were beautiful. The location was wonderful. Easy to walk anywhere you want to go. Loved it. I will be back.
Easy location. Noise levels from road were quite loud. You can't sit in the bar area without buying a drink, even if you are a hotel patron. I had forgotten my phone charge and the hotel staff was not helpful in providing a temporary replacement, perhaps from lost and found. Instead I was referred to an overpriced in-house gift shop trying to sell me a micro-usb cable for 15-20$. Check-in is late at 4:00 pm. Room was tiny.
I've stayed in so many NY hotels over the years and this one was very good, great room sizes for a Manhattan hotel, good room decor and excellent and quiet air con (good when 35c outside)! Desk to work at and plenty of plug sockets to charge gadets etc. Great location 5 mins walk to Abrrcrombie and Lower 5th Avenue, good Irish bar next door, diner opposite and coffee shops close by. Easy to get taxis outside too. Friendly and efficient front desk staff Breakfast not included in my rate
location is good.back rooms are dark and small compare with the front ones.elevators are small and you have to wait long time. nothing happened ı am satisfyed except the elevators
My wife and I stayed at the Palace many years ago and this stay was the first under Lotte's ownership. It's a big hotel, so it lacked the intimacy of some place like the Lowell Carlyle or the Plaza Athenee. That said, it's considerably less expensive, unless you are in the Towers. What I found remarkable was the consistency of staff attitude. Friendly, appropriately personal, attentive, and helpful. $50 for a simple breakfast (farro porridge with fruit, coffee, and a freshly made vegetable juice, was a new high (or low, depending on how you look at it) for New York. Delicious for sure, but pricey.
Nice ambiance. Good elevators to get to room efficiently Poor housekeeping. Bathroom smelled musty. They forgot to leave washcloths one time. Then forgot to leave shampoo another time. When we called for shampoo to shower took 1.5 hours to come. Also asked for blankets when checked in which never came.
Huge room, very clean. Staff was very courteous. Noise from consturction across thestreet was annoying, but not noticable as long as you run the fan.
Good location with helpful staff Cramped rooms not well maintained.
The bed was horrible...not enough blankets either.
the location is very good. 1) i have told the hotel that i would be paying for my stay on cash, and was told that i should do so upon check-out; yet the hotel proceeded to debit my credit card before the check-out time; 2) the car park is too blocks away. If one has luggages, the car-park is too far. 3) we arrive at the hotel earlier than 3 pm cos my flight arrived at 11 am. Despite there being vacant rooms, the hotel refused to assign us the room. Upon our return at 3.30 pm, we had to wait 45 minutes for the room allocation.
Location. Safe feeling hotel and neighborhood. Near Broadway, Radio City. Pretty good value for the $. Was able to purchase tickets and print them from the business center. Fairly quiet hotel considering location, busyness, etc. Free filtered water and bottles available by the elevator for guest use. No mini-fridge. No place to put suitcase, had to move coffee maker off the desk to place suitcase on top. Bathroom showing signs of age since first visit 4 years ago. Could use some paint. Remote control was odd.
The staff were unhelpful, rude and the room wasn't clean or to standard. Thoroughly disappointed.
Service was magnificent! Every single employee we encountered were genuinely kind and concerned with how we felt! True hospitality being practiced here. The room we had was a suite 1 bedroom with a pull out sofa. Attention to detail was evident throughout the room and hotel. It was super clean and very spacious (bathroom was s little smaller than we'd have liked). Rooftop bar and grill was amazing! Empire restaurant attached to the hotel was also amazing with food and service! Overall, I cannot give enough praise to this wonderful hotel. Loved it that much. The only negative was I waited a bit when I got to the hotel at the checking desk before I was even acknowledged. But everything after this completely changed my initial perception. Only one elevator working while they work on upgrading the other so it took a little longer to get the elevator but wasn't too long of a wait.
Poor elevator service, no view from our room.
This hotel was so clean and beautiful, with comfortable beds and complimentary pillow service which we loved trying!! The staff was so friendly and helpful, gave great advice and recommendations on food and directions, and took great care of us! My only complaint would be that the wifi is so expensive, $62, but since it was our first time staying at the Benjamin, the concierge attendant was kind enough to comp that for us.
The hotel has a good location. The bell service is appropriate. In my personal opinion the hotel is a bit overpriced.
Complementary breakfast was was skimpy.
that it was a suite with a kitchenette
It was great we had a warm cookies on arrival!!! Highhhhh five! Nothing at all
New renovated reception area makes it more attractive. One day iur room remained not cleaned.
