Pros: The rooms are little pods, but really fine for the price. Very clean. They are having issues with the some of the iPads that control room temp, lights, etc, but assured me this was a temporary glitch, as this was a new batch. The lobby is amazing and the location stellar. The staff might be the nicest and friendliest of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Inexpensive and tasty buffet breakfast at communal tables gives you the chance to chat with lovely people from all over the world. Rooftop bar has beautiful views.
Cons: Just the iPad situation, and that was very minor compared to all the positives. The controls were still functional, so no real problem on my end. Just had to frequently reboot.

Pros: Private rooftop bar and cozy lobby hangout space. European style breakfast lounge and 24 hr snack pantry. Room was small (though big for New York!) yet thoughtfully laid out with clever use of space. Fun/funky upscale low key vibe just perfect. Midtown location excellent for exploring NYC and checking out theatre scene. Daily complimentary bottled water. Friendly, helpful staff
Cons: If you pay for your breakfasts when you check in you save a couple bucks vs. paying on day of. I can understand that you'd want to have an estimate of how many diners they will be but, come on, this felt a little nickel and dime-y when everything else was so seamless.

Pros: Exactly what I needed for a one night business trip. Room is compact, but designed to be so, and spotlessly clean. Has a great location, fast wifi, brilliant communal spaces for getting out the laptop, and it took less than a minute to check in and out.

Pros: definitely a different style hotel but we still loved the concept. staff was very friendly. we would definitely stay here again.
Cons: since there wasn't any superfluous people like bell boys or concierge desks, I wish I saw a lil more savings and value in the price to stay here.

Pros: The King size bed, balcony and highly efficient room was clean, comfortable and most of all affordable. The staff is equally representative of the best in the business. The location is so fantastically being on the boarder of everything convenient in walking distance. To top off the trip the hotel offers tip cards that include discounts on many of the areas establishments. Our discounted Uber ride to the airport was a pleasant end to our fantastic visit to New York City. NobleDEN made the weekend get away; memorable. Sincerely.

Pros: Booked through Kayak and by some stroke of luck, received a free upgrade to the Thompson Suite upon arrival. If you can, book this room - it is absolutely amazing and without a doubt the most spacious hotel room I've ever seen in New York (or any other major metro area really). The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating and the property itself is both charming and luxurious. HIGHLY recommend - I've stayed at both the Thompson Smyth Tribeca and the SIXTY LES (when it was under Thompson management) and this was by leaps and bounds the best.
Cons: Not necessarily a downside, but be aware that the hotel is ALL the way downtown - this was perfect for my needs, but could be inconvenient if you're not familiar with NYC when booking. Additionally, the elevators were finicky and slow, although the concierge was very helpful in remedying the issue. So all in all, no substantive complaints to speak of!

Pros: We were greeted by the courteous staff after entering the unique entryway. A staircase surrounded by old books, leather seats, and an inviting chess set adorn the hall adjacent to a wine bar we were glad not to miss. The gold elevators requiring a room key to access brought us to our room. The bed was so comfortable, the room had a refreshing old school/hipster vibe. It has all the amenities you would expect from a great hotel and ten times the style. The location allowed us to hop on any subway we wanted and surrounded us with several landmarks and restaurants. We'll be comparing other hotels to this one from now on. The maids were even really nice to us. We loved staying in New York and even loved sitting back with a glass of wine in our room.
Cons: I didn't like leaving.

Pros: I travel quite a bit and have been in many hotels. This one is by far the best I have I stayed at. Pros: Very friendly and accomodating staff. Received a complimentary glass of wine immediately upon my arrival. Nice after 10 hrs on the road. Very good vibe. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, good location.
Cons: The hotel was a bit hard to find despite having a GPS. Not really, the hotels fault, I guess. The bathroom wall was made of a transluscent mosaic panel, which did not offer much privacy. Ended up doing our business with the bathroom lights off most of the time. While this may not be an issue for some, with 4 adults in the room it was definitely a bit awkward at times.

Pros: The hotel is a landmark. It is in a great location and gives great access to Central Park. It is also not too far of a walk to the theater district. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The staff seemed indifferent. The revolving door wasn't working, so we had to go in through side doors. The doormen (sometimes as many as three) just stood around watching, not helping at all with the doors, which were heavy. Breakfast in the lobby: we were seated and I asked the purpose seating us to bring coffee. He said the server would be right with us. After 5 minutes there was no server to been seen. Why didn't the person seating us just bring us coffee? Very mediocre attitude. This hotel was not at all worth the price we paid.

Pros: Everything was great about the Plaza! The hotel staff was so nice. They were always asking us how we were doing and if we needed anything. Our room was amazing! Very luxurious! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The mini bar was filled with all kinds of drinks and snacks. I think our favorite part was the bathroom. The walk in shower with the huge shower head was ginormous! The tub was rather large too! Everything was very very clean. It felt like it was brand new and we were the first people to stay in it! The hotel location was great also. Central Park and a subway station is right across the street so it was quite easy going to and from the Yankees games. We will definitely stay at the Plaza again!

Cons: Definitely STAY AWAY from that place!! I came at freezy night, the room temperature was at 76 and didn't go higher. I said show me another room as u sound now ridiculous. Then the same(!) "engineer" came and.. oh miracle (!) he fixed it. I said all of u guys are such LIARS!! Just made me SO mad and irritated for no reason. Overall: WAY overpriced hotel for the way it is, HORRIBLE "costumer service" from most of the stuff here, no room delivery after 11:30pm (really?!), No parking space, Spent almost $300/night for the room doesn't even have tube. Pros: Fun, modern sci-fi inspired design, excellent food, bar and restaurant were great. Staff were mostly courteous and attentive. Room service was quick. Shower was excellent :)
Cons: Wi-fi was terrible. Even after I paid the 14.95 for "high-speed" we had constant connection problems. On my third night the Novotel wireless network didn't even show up on list of available networks and was seemingly down for the remainder of the night. Not as big a deal on a leisure trip, but if I had been there for business I would have been screwed. The sink in the bathroom was poorly designed. Every time I turned on the faucet, water would splash up and out of the bowl and get everything on the counter wet. Had to keep water on lo-flow to avoid this.

Pros: The location was ideal for our purposes, being close to theatres, restaurants and Rockefeller Center. The staff were nicely accommodating and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable.

Pros: We liked everything about the hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the location was on Broadway, just one short block from 7th Avenue. I would stay again. It was a very good experience.
Cons: The only thing I questioned (but was not a big deal) was the bathroom was small - couldn't fit 2 people in at once. The shower pressure was too good. Meaning that it hurt the body when the hand held was used. The rain shower was good but if you didn't want to wet your hair, you had to use the hand held which in turn was so powerful that it hurt the body. It didn't bother me that much but it was the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable.

Pros: The bed was amazing and the location was great.

Pros: Location is good enough. But still not in the midst of happening place of time square. Front desk staff was helpful and pleasant . View from window was amazing
Cons: Travel conceirage was awful. Whenever I looked for them they are not available . Had to go that counter minimum 4 times from my room to get him. He was always out of his place. Finally when he given me advice it went wrong. I wanted to go to Statue of Liberty and he told me to pick a taxi instead of metro. It cost me 35 dollar in the taxi and driver told me best way was metro and he surprised travel concierGe advised me taxi. He said this people doesn't know anything about outside. Not even a bottle of water complementary. All toiletries are bare minimum and had to ask for certain things.

Pros: Room was nice, very clean. Shower was great. Loved the ambiance. Really in the heart of everything. Amazing Cuban restaurant right next door, stone's throw away from Central Park and Times Square. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Only one outlet in the room had enough power to charge my phone. It was odd. I tried it with other phones as well, to be sure it wasn't just me. It wasn't. Only one worked. This would have been a problem if I were with others in the room.

Pros: The rooftop pool is worth the stay. Not sure about going there at night but during the day, it's so far my favorite spot in the city :)

Pros: All the staff, from the doormen to the concierge were friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, it was spacious and had a very modern, crisp decor. I felt like my wife and I had a nice little apartment in the city for one night. We're going back to New York in a week and we're staying there again.
Cons: I honestly can't say anything too negative. I didn't particularly enjoy spending $350 plus, and it got a little noisy at times but I feel like that comes with the territory when you're in Manhattan. I will say that regardless of where you're staying, $18 for a movie is almost offensive. Why not just charge 2X what it would cost us at home? It would be a nice gesture.

Pros: I didn't do a ton of research on Hotel Indigo before booking my stay and arriving at the hotel. We were in NY for a wedding and we received a discounted room rate as negotiated by the groom. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is hip and clean and in a great location. The proximity to Katz's is worth it. There is also really great coffee in this neighborhood. Try Ludlow right across the street from the hotel or Cafe Vita only a few blocks south. I would say the due to the room rate discount we were pretty lucky with the price we paid as the hotel was booking around $500 per night (their regular fee). I would say that $500 is over priced for that hotel but $350 or lower is a great deal.
Cons: Because there is a seemingly popular bar on the 15th floor of hotel you can run into some characters when it is just time to go to bed. Also when coming back home for the night the door man acts as security so you have to your room key on you in order to just get through the door. The receptionist warned us about this so we were prepared but I thought it was a little annoying. However as a guest of the hotel you get restaurant and bar privileges so there is no wait for you to get in.

Pros: Breakfast was mediocre. Dinner was ok but the wait staff needs to pay more attention to details. And the customer. When they delivered dinner they dropped the plates and disappeared. We didn't even have a chance to ask for silverware, which one of us was missing. We shared until we could get someones attention. Not an easy task here as they seem to go with the NYC theory, Don't make eye contact. When we were finished I asked the wait staff for our check (I hadn't seen our waitress in a while). We waited, and waited, and waited. I finally saw our waitress by the bar so I went over and asked for the check. All in all, a mediocre experience. The only plus is the location. I won't return. Not really worth the $$$.

Pros: Location was great with a lot of varied night-life options. Terrace bar and pool is something to check out for sure.
Cons: A/C worked well but was very loud especially with something loose inside that made a clunking noise constantly while the A/C ran. I called down after the first night to see if could be addressed. Engineering was sent while we were out but the problem wasn't fixed. We got in too late to deal with the second so had to try prob a chair against it to dampen the noise :(

Pros: The location was great. Walking distance to Grand Central Station. The bathroom was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and the concierge was somewhat helpful.
Cons: The first thing I noticed is that the staff were not dressed very neatly. As I struggled with my bags and getting into the lobby the doorman didn't help at all. Then when I got up to my floor I smelled a strange odor, almost like a skunk, and then in my room it smelled like mildew the entire time I was there. I had to spray my cologne all over the room so I wouldn't smell it when I was trying to fall asleep. The blanket on the bed looked dirty like it was covered in dog hair so I didn't even touch that and also everything felt sticky in the room. I also didn't receive a courtesy call to assure everything was ok with the room.

It came loose and the batteries did as well. I don't know if I received awards points or not, but I'm not sure I care. Pros: I was impressed with the room size. I have stayed in other hotels in NYC and they were the size of a closet! At 70 Park Avenue, you are able to move around without tripping with the furniture or your own luggage. A real jewel close to the attractions in a very quiet neighborhood.
Cons: It would have been great to have a formal restaurant in property where you could have a nice breakfast. The options for breakfast were not too many, but for someone in the run, that should be enough.

Cons: The staff was extremely rude and not helpful. During checkin I initially tried to use theit kiosk because the line was extremely long but it wouldn't dispense the keys. I ended up having to wait on the line for 30 minutes. When it's finally my turn I'm told that there is a resort fee. Now I was never told this whole booking. According to the site I used everything was paid for. I've actually stayed here before and used the same company and never paid a resort fee. I try to explain this to the woman but she refuses to listen. Next it was time to swipe the card for incidentals but she claimed my card was declining. Apparently they need $100 deposit for incidentals. Again up until this point none of this was explained. When I begin to protest that the kiosk actually accepted my card but failed to dispense the cards iIwas told rather rudely that it probably did that because my card wasn't working. She then asked if i had another card or asked if I could call my bank. I told her I did not and I really didn't have a spare $100. She then tells me everyone needs to have money for incidentals without it she couldn't check me in and i would her to cancel. At this point i become upset. Why should i have to cancel a reservation that I already paid for because of this. The agency I booked with doesnt allow refunds the day of. I ended up having to speak too a manager to explain the situation. She proceeds to take over while the first person is protesting that I have no money. She then tells me to swipe my card. She ends up charging me the resort fee and allowing the reservation to go through. The same resort fee I never should have had to pay but I let it be because I figured paying an extra $20 is better than loosing the entire reservation. Finally the next morning when its time to check out there is another long line with only 2 people available. As far as I conn see they are doing checkins. I noticed there is achecking. Checkout box but wasn't sure if it was ok to put the keys on there and if I needed to fill out the little envelope the keys where in first. I walk up to where one of the people at the front desk is to ask but she has another guest so I wait patiently. There was also another person waiting there who needed to check out. Once she's done she begins to yell at us that this is not a line we need to make the line. I began to explain that I want trying to skip anyone but I had a question and I wasnt sure I needed you be in the line. She again started yelling that I needed to get on line and if we needed to checkout we could leave it in the box. I tell her that's all I wss trying to ask her in the first place and just walked away. Honestly if it wasn't simply for the location I would never stay here again. Their staff is rude, in need of training and very unprofessional. This isn't even my first incident with them. The last time I stayed there I spent over an hour on line trying to checkin only to be given the keys to someone else room

Cons: This place is a zoo. The people working here were unpleasant. The lobby was stuffed full of people all the time. They charge $5 to keep your bags if you get there before 3 or to hold them until you leave. (Note - the guy working in the bag room was actually very nice, unlike everyone else who seemed terribly bothered by things like checking us in). The tub in our room was peeling so badly it looked like a crime scene. The bed was like a board. The 2 pillows on the bed were the thinnest pillows I've ever seen. The lobby was nice (except the 100 people who seemed to be perpetually camped out in it), but the rooms haven't been updated since 1911. God forbid you need to call the desk for something. There are many lovely boutique hotels and options nearby. Stay away from this one.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have traveled all over the world, stayed in dozens and dozens of hotels and, there is no doubt, this one was the worst. This place does not even deserve one star. This is a tourist trap. Its predatory, it's low quality, the service is terrible, and they hit you with a ton of hidden fees and costs. I, like many of you, have seen this place pop up time and time again - it is often listed as one of the cheapest options in NYC. However, to be clear, there is a 40$ "facility fee" racked on to whatever number you are seeing; as well as, at the time of this review, a few hundred dollar "security deposit" that is taken from your bank account without your knowledge, and only returned once you have checked out. The experience began with my girlfriend and I waiting almost 2 - yes, really, 2 - hours to check in. The line was like waiting for a rollercoaster. I've never seen anything like it. While droves of people waiting to check in, two people worked behind a desk suited for up to ten employees. Not only were they understaffed but, for whatever reason, it took the staff members about 10+ minutes to check each party in. I could not believe my eyes. It was then that I was informed that I would be charged some ridiculous hidden fee, as well as have hundreds of dollars involuntarily taken out of my bank account - something I might need whilst on vacation - without my consent, money that has still not been returned to me. Now, the facility was built in 1909, I believe, and it must have all the original carpets and elevators. The rooms were tiny and cramped. It was 80 degrees on the day we stayed and the hotel informed me that they do not turn on the A/C until May , per the "city" - even though I stayed at a different place the prior evening with a fully functional A/C. When we finally checked out, THEY CHARGED US TO CHECK OUR BAGS. Again, I've stayed in hotels all over the world, this has never happened before! Oh, and they also have Fox News playing in every elevator and television - as if the experience could not be worse! I would not recommend this piece of garbage to my worst enemies. This place is a predatory tourist trap. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Pros: The humbling kindness of overworked, understaffed folks behind the desk who had to deal with countless angry customers who were unhappy with the extreme wait time in line or had come down to complain about the condition of their room.
Cons: 70 minute wait in line to check in, did not arrive to room until 1:00am after a very long day of travel. Room smelled moldy and musty, air quality was a major concern and window could not be opened. Aesthetics looked run down and degraded in a way that regardless of how well it may have been cleaned it looked dirty and questionable. Upon checkout the next morning, after only having spent 5.5 hours sleeping in the hotel the front desk tried to charge us an additional $34 "facilities" fee that had not been mentioned anywhere to the best of our recollection. We pushed back and said that we had not had time to use any "facilities" because of the extremely long wait in line the night before and the person at the front desk kindly dropped it.

Pros: This hotel banks on its location adjacent to Penn Station. That is the only positive and has allowed them to avoid improving.
Cons: The facilities are atrocious: dirty rooms, bedbugs, outdated fixtures, uninvested staff, and hidden fees.

Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: It was, by far, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Rooms are from the 80's. Dirty and smell like cigarettes. Staff is unfriendly unwilling to answer the most simple of questions. The valet service is a joke. It took us 1.5 hours to get our vehicle back when we checked out.
