Location. The view from our room.
The staff barely talked to us during check-in & check-out. The hall outside our room was always full of garbage and cleaning supplies. The club upstairs was way too loud in the rooms below. The wait for the elevators was very long.
It's a really great hotel. Location, staff, design...all are great.
The elevators took forever most times of the day. But it's a busy hotel so its understandable. Limited closet and drawer space.
Good location; 15 mins walk to Times Square
Rude abrupt check-in desk staff particularly Leila. She shouldnt be at the front desk at all. Check-out was even more miserable. Air conditioning made a terribly loud noise such that the room was vibrating. The engineers couldnt fix it. So we had to switch of the A/C which made the room quite hot.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It’s close to Times Square and the Javits Center. A little pizza place next door had good slices and not expensive.
The view of the bus station and parking ramp is a little blah, but not terrible.
All of the staff were friendly, accommodating and a pleasure. Check in person saw from my ID that it was my birthday. When we got back from dinner, there was a card and box of chocolate covered strawberries on the dresser. Lobby not glamorous but adequate.
