For the price, I recommend other airlines. Indigo might save a few hundred bucks but the quality of service, food selection, wait time, delays is really bad. This is like the Spirit airlines of India, if you know what I mean.

Liked the XL seat, but didn't like the check-in process at the Delhi Airport gate 5B. Though I had paid for the priority boarding, there was mad rush at the gate and allowed whoever with might pushed in. Then at the gate we were picked up for compulsory checkin the hand baggage as the flight was full. There were any with more than 2 bags and massive cabin baggage. But they didn't dare to stop them.. Overall a very badly managed check-in process.

Check in is a mess. Be ready for a traumatic experience from the unsupportive and rude check in staffs and duty managers at Calicut airport. It’s a chaos and the lines are mostly first in last out, as they don’t care of the passenger well being or the waiting time. They are just concerned of checking in before the boarding call. Personal experience is of standing 2 hours straight just for check in. Flight is ok, food preordered are all the instant ones with hot water mix, which tastes pathetic. Overall, will never take another indigo flight to fly out of india.

Pros: "Amazing crew, clean plane and on-time and seamless boarding and arrival."
Cons: "Entertainment option via app."
Cons: "No entertainment very bad seats no blanket when asked for"
Pros: "nothing, they did provide us with refreshments for flight delay."
Cons: "everything has to be improved"
Pros: "Always ahead of scheduled arrival in my last few flights. Love it"
Pros: "I liked the total travel time the flight took."
Cons: "The boarding suddenly changed the gate just within minutes of the departure & informed none."
Cons: "Flight 6E 188 to Chennai supposed to leave at 6.20 AM got cancelled by airliner. Lot of discomforts faced. Indigo should pay me penalties to me by three times the charge."
Cons: "45 minutes in the checking queue. And long queue at the boarding gates. Please get your act together. All it takes is a little forethought and efficiency — not many people looking busy and doing the same thing."

You get what you pay for. It’s functional and gets you from point A to B in good comfort. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss .. they get your attention if you reach out.

Good leg room ... air conditioning was a bit warm don't Book row 8 ... no windows

The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

Pros: "A nice experience overall. Flight was quiet so plenty of personal space."
Pros: "Everything went smoothly from check in to arrival. Bags were delivered timely. Flights were on time."
Cons: "No entertainment options. Little to no food service."
Pros: "The crew are ok. They should find jobs with other, better airlines."
Cons: "Flight delayed on both legs. Delay management horrible, call centre was worse."
Pros: "Average flight"
Cons: "Changed the time of my flight early by more than 2 hours, with no communication. I therefore missed the flight. I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"
Pros: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."
Cons: "Flight wasn't on time to and from HKG."
Pros: "Crews are nice."
Cons: "Seems like Malindo is starting to degrading the service quality. The flight I took before: they change the airplane to batik which was worse with no entertainment, smaller seat pitch, etc. I book Malindo for a reason and paid for what expected using Malindo!! If they had to change the plane they should've given better one or given back compensation to passengers! Now this flight, they didn't activate the entertainment till way later and turned off way too early. They didn't give any earphone as supposed to. Malindo's service has become bad."
Pros: "For the price that we paid, it included 30kg baggage and refreshment (orange juice, water, coffee, a slice of pizza and a muffin) - it was worth it. The legroom is spacious, the seat was comfortable and the cabin crew was awesome. Flight was on time, check in was acceptable (considering people travelling from Bandung has a lot of check in baggage due to shopping)."
Cons: "Nothing."

On-time & very well priced. All you need on a short flight.

Pros: "I paid $7 for an exit row. I was worth it. The normal economy seats are extremely cramped."
Pros: "Crew were good. Good food."
Cons: "For some reason, the seat was very uncomfortable. Rather hard with little cushion."
Cons: "All four flights with Malaysia Airlines were delayed, no reasons and no information. Appalling."
Cons: "If the assigned seat reclined. I had to Move to a different seat which Worked."
Pros: "Our luggage missed the connection but the situation was well handled"
Cons: "Entertainment"
Pros: "Because I had missed my original connecting flight, the airlines booked me at an overnight hotel and my new flight seat number was premium economy. This was fine in the end, but in the moment I practically cried."
Cons: "Again, not being delayed and having to miss my original connecting flight would have been best."
Cons: "I paid more than 1500 ringgit for the bags, although the booking of the trip was comprehensive. Unfortunately the site disappointed me"
Pros: "The crew was excellent, however I had a very serious problem upon checking in as I DISCOVERED AM NOT ALLOWED A SINGLE KG OF LUGGAGE.THE AIRLINE ASKED ME TO INFORM THE AGENT WHO DID NOT MAKE IT CLEAR WHEN I WAS BUYING THE TICKET.THAT HAS COST ME A LOT OF ANXIETY AND BIG$$"
Cons: "TICKETS ON SALE THAT HAS NOT LUGGAGE MUST BE CLEARLY STATED THAT NO LUGGAGE ALLOWED"
Cons: "I was incorrectly charged credit card fees by BudgetAir as I paid via debit card and they never replied to my emails or answered the phone. This caused stress as my bank account went overdrawn. Cannot recommend BudgetAir at all. Appalling lack of customer service. Avoid like the plague!"

It was a cheaper flight and it arrived early. I thought the crew were pretty noisy for an overnight flight, and my friend was not able to sleep because of the noise. Also I think it’s absurd they don’t provide complementary water. Why does everything have to be a surcharge? Airplanes are dehydrating and it would be beneficial to help passengers stay healthy.

I paid an additional fee for specific seats because I was flying with my two children. I even checked in online and confirmed my seats, so at the airport did not think to double check my seats. The lady at the check in desk gave me different seats that were not together, nor did she say anything, even though she could see I was flying with children. Got to the plane and only realized what had happened then. Scoot refused to refund me that extra fee or take responsibility for what had happened.

U could offer everyone a drink ,juice or water.. coffe or tea ...ur air craft isn't a flea market ,where someone has to buy a tea or water!!

Cons: "Flight delayed. Please be punctual if can’t be earlier."
Pros: "The crew were super patient (a must when dealing with the quality of passengers from Trichy who were lacking in manners and etiquette)."
Cons: "Boarding was chaotic. The majority of passengers seem to not be used to the normal manners and etiquette of queuing and it was chaotic with pushing. Some discipline and order needs to be enforced by ground crew (and this will no doubt make the cabin crews' lives easier)."
Pros: "Crew were good."
Cons: "I paid for priority boarding but could not find the queue easily to check in as well as there was no priority boarding line up during boarding. My seat did not decline at all. I paid for a window seat but got a completely blank wall. Flights were late."
Pros: "Not sure if I have much trust in the crew. Most of the female crew would walk past passengers who had their seats reclined or in the toilets and other situations and wouldn’t notice (during take off and landing) and the guy would come past later and do her job for them. Ground staff in Bangkok"
Pros: "Friendly crew. Toilets kept clean. Nice ambience with the cabin lighting."
Cons: "My seat had a broken recliner button. Seat would recline but not stay reclined. If I sat up, seat would come up with me."
Pros: "The food was good. The service very good. Check in was so fast."
Cons: "Internet charge was very expensive and electrical outlet could not hold my charger. It kept falling out"
Cons: "Wasn’t allowed to board the plane because my passport only had five months left on it but you still let me book the flight and I was not refunded"

No complaints. Made it on time with a minimum of hassle. Some complementary soft drinks would have been nice tho.

It’s THE worst international flying experience I have had. I will avoid this airline.

Pros: "Quick and easy boarding and very friendly crew"
Cons: "Nothing really. For a no-frills flight, it was a great value"
Pros: "The flight i booked has 2 segments and both by Air Asia. However, when arrived in KL, i was forced to exit term"
Cons: "Boarding pass and ticket did not specify terminal 2!!! Automatic check in not clear"
Pros: "The new seats are good. I didn't get any back pain."
Cons: "Not much."
Cons: "Regarding the luggage. Myself need to purchase luggage but some of the people not need to buying. The Airasia staff informing that my luggage and laptop more than 11kg and need to purchasing. This is first time, I hear that laptop including also. As per my view, I had saw some of the people more heavy and biggest than me but still can go through. It is because I am foreigner and they are local person."
Cons: "no food. maybe ok for this price. boarding: why i had to checkin twive while using 1 carrier? that was mentioned on the ticket, but I oversaw that when was ordering ticket on website"
Pros: "Staff were very helpful and friendly. Even let me off some money for a drink"
Cons: "Checking in took way longer than needed"
Pros: "Price. Number of flights."
Cons: "The 7kg hardline AFTER doing the document check nearly caused me to miss my flight thus potentially missing a connection. If AsiAsia are going to keep to this 7kg hardline they really need to do it across all airports and do it during the document check so the number of queues costumers are subjected to are minimized. I did purchase extra weight when purchasing the ticket however that weight MUST be in checked bags only. No margin here for discussion. Perhaps HotSeat passengers are less scrutinized??? This all may be just some transitional pains here and other airlines may follow the same model but in my 200+ flights on Nok Air this has NEVER happened. In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. First AirAsia flight for me so the vets reading this will be smiling quietly to themselves ;-)"
