Quick flight, comfortable seats. Leg room is superior than most economy flights. Was surprised and pleased that the domestic flight had English announcements and they were clear.
Announcement at gate to board bus was not delivered, had to look up and see passengers boarding bus to take to tarmac for boarding. Bus then stopped at plane for 10 minutes seemingly waiting for 1st class bus to arrive and board first as they came and were unloaded right away.

Crying babies, but the Bose QC35 noise cancelling headphones took care of that!
As a Delta Platinum member we got to us the Lotus Lounge, which was very nice.

This was like flying in the 90's. The seats were super small and uncomfortable my TV didn't work and they wouldn't let me use my phone (even on fly mode) and the Beijing international airport didn't have WiFi.
They finally have 767 with at seat screens - Riga to JFK - but most movies Russian or Uzbek with extremely poor "English" spoken oven the dialog, not subtitles which would be more enjoyable. Would also be nice to have beer for purchase.
I am satisfied with my flight to Riga, especially with reservation and booking and smooth flight.

China Southern is very welcoming, calming music and lavender diffuser on boarding. Very good customer service, always offering water and drinks.
left on time and arrived a little early, lunch was served (food was not bad, but not super amazing)

Crew were friendly and very efficient. China Southern completes the service of food and drink very quickly when compared to other airlines. Boarding was super easy.
The plane was extremely hot. It was hot while we were on the tarmac, then it cooled right down once we were taking off. Once we levelled out it was way too hot again. Not pleasant at all.
They did work with us to help with the seating.
We flew from NYC- JFK to Siem Reap Cambodia and back with the airline. On the way back I was unable to choose seats online prior to boarding. We were placed in Row 63, which is the LAST row on the plane and does not recline. For a 15 hour flight this seating should not be used. It is completely unreasonable to think people will be ok not reclining, and honestly the seats felt more straight up than the normal seats. After discussing it with the crew for half an hour on a full flight they were able to move us to other seats. But were unable to move us to business or first for a discount. End point: these seats should not be used! It was so miserable even thinking we might get stuck with them. And if they do stick people there you should be comped, that was not worth the same fare everyone else payed for coach.
