I ve always love flying on @MAS not just because it is my national carrier bit also because of its Malaysian Hospitality
Flight was on time. Food was ok. Seats didn’t have much arm room but was manageable for a short flight.
Rescheduled my flights without asking me. And I am losing money on reservation

Cons: "This is the second time - once on the way to Kuala Lumpur and on the way back that we boarded late and thus missed my connecting flight. Sadly Cathay and Malaysia air (which was the airline Cathay used for the return leg of this trip refused to help and put me on an earlier flight forcing me to stay an extra 6 hrs at the airport while being sick."

This is a win-win situation all 'round. From being re-booked to an earlier flight by their impressive ground staff to excellent in-flight service and airmanship during the ride, the experience was truly one of the nicest airline experiences in recent memory. With improvements at MNL coupled with this fine experience, I now have another option to choose from when traveling by air both within SEA and beyond. Kudos to all."

Steward saw this and gave me extra peanuts instead. The brekkie was awfulll, the supposed scrambled eggs was congealed into the shape of the holder and again lukewarm the grilled tomatoe looked washed out....unappetiising...so ate the squahed croissant , yoghurt and fruit. What happened to international food standards . Crew was nice...though if wanted water later on had to get yourself.They didn't come around much offering water before Brekkie. No game option eg Sudoku on Entertainment site. My bag come off carousel more scratched than with other Airlines, so poor handling. Disembarked by stairs at Sydney Airport near Cargo plane area and had bus to Airport. Never had that before on an International flight , so took much longer to get into terminal....last thing you want after a long flight."

It was a very short flight hence I truly appreciate the snack and drinks provided and especially the fabulous ice cream treat on the return flight. I would certainly consider taking MAS again in future (this was my first MAS flight), despite the one glitch (please see what I didnt like) if the price is right."
Cons: "I had only one large backpack to be checked in (due to the minimum liquid that can be brought) and it was left at the airport somehow by whoever who was handling it. Waited for more than an hour at KLIA for it and finally made a loss baggage report. The staff at the loss baggage counter was only helpful after finding out that I am not a Malaysian. Needless to say, my bag flew on SQ and was rushed to my hotel 5 and half hours after landing. I also did not receive a copy of the baggage delivery report."

We had to take Chinese Visa to get to the baggage, even-though it is a transit. We missed the next connecting flight to Shenzhen as it ate up all our time. Now have to travel in the mercy of the airlines for next flight. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LIST THAT "VISA NEEDED IF CHECKING IN BAGGAGE" MISSED ALL FLIGHTS"

(Ouch) Anyway after paying the extra bag fee I went there office in the airport and purchased the same extra bag for my return flight for $28.00. Cons: "AirAsia sucks balls. Or at least, it was fine leaving Singapore, but returning from a crappy small town airport to it was a fraudulent nightmare. We were told to check in online and add baggage at least two days before flying to avoid excessive baggage fees. So we paid them the first time, no problem. But AirAsias website is clearly coded by bricks with fingers. Because 6,5,4, and 3 days prior, it says such service is unavailable. Okay, we’ll do it at the airport then, it’ll be nice and easy just like at Changi. Only at this crappy subpar excuse for an airport, they live by no rules and want to charge $300USD - more than double what was charged at Changi - for two 20kg bags. 20kg, which my boarding pass and my booking both say we are entitled to, is suddenly 5kg in excess, so they want to screw your American wallet hard, long, and good because even if you had a good time, chances are you will never pass through the half baked gas station that is Langkawi again. Oh yeah and don’t bother paying for the WiFi - they get you good there too - 10mb which is basically a couple jpegs but you won’t get squat anyway. Literally nothing, and then suddenly your puny 10mb has disappeared, along with your money and what’s left of AirAsias credibility."

I payed more for my bags to follow me than I did for the plane ticket?!?! I was trying tirelessly to add bags to my flight before hand but system gave errors etc and I even tried the live chat again errors so no choice but to do this at airport for a ridiculously expensive cost. I was not happy and will think twice about this. I even considered taking the later air Malaysia flight with my bags included. If I had only known :("

I'm a female and 5'9 and this is the least space I've ever had on a flight. So uncomfortable I can't imagine a long flight with this airline, which is good to know because now I will not use them for flying to Malaysia from NYC. Also both flights were delayed by nearly an hour each."
