We loved the location of this hotel. All staff from front of house to room ladies were all pleasant and helpful. Room was spotless and very spacious. Would definitely stay here again
The bed was comfortalbe I found a marijuana pipe in my room upon arrival. The front desk staff was not helpful upon checkin and was very confused. The hotel sits on the corner of Bourbon and Canal and there isa street jazz band that plays from like 3pm-1am very loud. The Rooms was very hot, despite having our own a/C. The temp was set on 65, but was reading 74 and felt about 80.
Good price, really liked the option to earn rewards for not having room cleaned by staff for duration of stay, location, and bag storage No kitchen appliances in room, expensive breakfast
We were unable to reach our hotel. No one told us when we made our reservations that Mardi Gras parades (at least two) would be passing by our hotel after 4:00 p.m. (which is check in) making it impossible to get to our hotel. We waited in traffic for over 3 hours trying to reach our hotel, then the New Orleans police started diverting all the traffic and set up barriers making it impossible to be anywhere near Canal Street. The front desk at the Marriott told us they couldn't guarantee we could reach the hotel by midnight. We had to drive to Baton Rouge to get a hotel and missed out being with family the next day for our grandchild's 1st birthday.
Location - close to great places to eat, shopping, and Bourbon street. The doormen were very kind and helpful. Lots of drunk people everywhere... but that Bourbon street for ya! Also, housekeeping didn't come to our room one day. At least it wasn't clean when we got back at 5 pm, and at that point I wanted a nap.
The hotel was clean modern and near Canal Street but not in the center of the French quarter so a lot of walking I was there for rest, the bed was hard the covers were not long enough to cover your body the thermometer was not functioning properly the alarm clock went off every hour even though it was in the off mode you could not unplug it the TV reception was like rabbit ears ... beginning around 3am the people next door started screaming and fighting I called downstairs it took forever for them to come up and quite these people down it was so loud it sounded like they were murdering someone and then once the security left they started slamming doors so I got very little sleep the security people should have kicked them out of the hotel but they didn't I complained the next morning about all of these things to the supervisor Dominique and her response to all of these issues was well we can't control the noise in the rooms
Staff. Comfort. Location. Jazz lounge. Pricing is very high during Mardi Gras weeks. Jazz lounge closed at 10pm
I drove a hour away to get there only to be told I was never booked when I received a confirmation number . I'll never book with this site again !!!!!!! I have always stayed here but this time the services was so bad !! They couldn't find my reservation and the stuff was rude
There isn't self parking, valet only I upgraded my stay to include free Breakfast but wasn't worth it
The location I didn't like the fact I had to change rooms at midnight due to there being a MOUSE in my room. I was told I'd have a $100 credit to my room and that someone would assist me in moving. Whoever came up just handed us a key to the new room and left. I wasn't assisted with a cart to move. The new room was 12 floors higher but way more spacious. I was content until the next morning I went to shower and there was pubic hair or something slapped across the back of the shower meaning no one bothered to clean the shower....it probably could have been easily removed with a wipe of a cloth but apparently that was too much effort. As I checked out I mentioned my $100 credit which I now learned went back to the hotel. The fact that it was $100 to spend within the hotel was not communicated to me and in my opinion I thought I was going to be refunded $100 from room cost. I was very unhappy with that. How would I know to use the credit before check out and when would I use it between the time I had to transfer all my stuff to another room with no help, sleep, get ready and overcome being disgusted by the shower, and checkout by noon. I would like a refund for my stay. The manager supposedly is communicating with this company since this was a third party ordeal.
Pool was awesome, Carousel Bar was amazing, staff was top notch. Criollo was a very tasty restaurant. Location! Limited channels on TV cable, wifi was a little slow, other than that, very nice
The location is excellent I thought the hotel looked a bit run down, not a 5 star hotel.. I did not like the fact that there was no complimentary coffee or news papers The coffee was available in the gift shop for $3.00+ / cup. Not acceptable for a supposed top flight hotel, Forget trying to get a seat at the famous Carousel bar, but it was the first weekend of Jazz Fest.
Location The room was too small especially the rest room. The hotel is nice but needs an update. The mattress was old and lumpy. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.
Hotel was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
I liked the room and where the hotel was located I paid too much and was constantly dealing with hassles like slow elevators, stupid rules, staff that lied about a room being available. We paid $310 for a room and $42 to park and couldn't get free Wifi, really? The Valets were rude and they basically forced me to use baggage handlers.
Our room 1236 was a great room for us! The facilities were great and the staff was lovely. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the Wednesday jazz players. We would definitely return the next time we are in town!
We are frequent visitors of the Ritz Carltons and this was the worst facility I've ever been to and service was poor. I was paying $600 a night and felt like I was staying at a Sheraton or worst.
It was beautiful!!! The room was spacious, the staff was amazing, the food was delicious
Hotel had lots of staff and very polite and clean. Historical significance. Kayak over booked telling us we had a room but the hotel was not advised. Hotel had no knowledge of us coming.
Everything you could ever want in a luxury hotel is on display here at Windsor Court. Rooms are well decorated, beds are over the top comfortable, every member of staff was very very helpful and cordial. Richard at check in, Marissa, Alyx, Kim and Paul in the Club were a few to mention but everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you. Location is perfect-coveniant to everything. This is THE place to stay when visiting NOLA!!
Whoever stayed in the room before me. Drank 2 bottles of while and then left the bottles in the bar. I brought it to the attention of the front seat and they said they would take care of it. And I also brought it to the attention of house keeping. At the end of my stay, you guessed it I got charged for the 2 bottles. Also I requested ice 4 times and never got any.
Location was perfect! A short walk to everything, but not so close that there was street noise. I also enjoyed the exposed brick walls, and my corner/wrap-around room was very spacious and full of natural light!! A/C worked great, and the number of towels provided was more than sufficient. Pillows were flat and needed more stuffing in them. The sheets were a bit rough/scratchy.
Nothing Rooms are mold ritten dusty musty just very bad I'm sick as a dog from this place and I paid almost 400 dollars a night
Nice and dark. Super comfy. Convenient to all NoLa has to offer. When I return to New Orleans, I will return to the Pelham.
Restaurant access No one available for valet parking and no bellman. Yet, you can charge for this. Person at front desk upon check in was rude and could have cared less. Also, if I would have known that my room would have not had any windows, I would have gone elsewhere.
