Pros: The service was amazing. Every night, we returned to a room with chocolates or pralines, water and robes laid out for us. The view from both sides of the hotel was incredible and the location was great- only around 10 to 15 minute walk from Café du Monde.

Cons: Whoever stayed in the room before me. Drank 2 bottles of while and then left the bottles in the bar. I brought it to the attention of the front seat and they said they would take care of it. And I also brought it to the attention of house keeping. At the end of my stay, you guessed it I got charged for the 2 bottles. Also I requested ice 4 times and never got any.

Pros: Everything you could ever want in a luxury hotel is on display here at Windsor Court. Rooms are well decorated, beds are over the top comfortable, every member of staff was very very helpful and cordial. Richard at check in, Marissa, Alyx, Kim and Paul in the Club were a few to mention but everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you. Location is perfect-coveniant to everything. This is THE place to stay when visiting NOLA!!

Pros: Overall, the facility was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, the pool was beautiful and atmospheric, but the service left too much to be desired. When we called to the front desk for assistance of any kind, we were met with tones of condescension. Almost as if asking for a room service menu, as are room had none, or ordering room service was a bother to them. We waited an hour for a Cobb salad to be delivered, only to find that it was missing bacon, egg, and avocado...practically half the salad! For the price of the salad, I expected so much more. I certainly could have called to notify them of the issue, but after having waited at long we did want to waste more time. Apart from the lack of care for customer satisfaction dealt out by the front desk, we also ran into issues with the bell man. At first, he offered to look out for our scheduled taxi, while we waited inside. But, we soon realized that he wasn't going to follow through on his offer as he was standing inside chatting it up with a co-worker as time came for our taxi to arrive. So, we got up and went to look for it ourselves. This is not to say that all of the customer service personnel were lacking. There were certain individuals who were kind, friendly, and attentive to our needs. But, I would say by and far that customer satisfaction is not apparent by their services rendered. If you're looking to feel like you as a customer and a person matters, then stay far away from Hotel Monteleone. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay, then by all means, book that room!

Doormen were friendly and engaging; they greeted my two young children with our every entrance/exit and asked them about the activities in between, made some fun suggestions for meals and places of interest to visit- really added to the experience for each of the kids. Small rooms, but comfortable, good noise control - was not disturbed despite business of lobby and hallways. Beautiful foyer and delicious menu at Criollo, the restaurant downstairs. Will certainly return to this hotel for its service, comfort, attractiveness and convenient location.
Cons: Spa staff were not at the desk on more than one occasion, were haughty and were generally unfriendly during booking of appointments. Stark contrast to the rest of the hotel. Services provided were acceptable. Would NOT be likely to return to spa based on the unpleasantness of interacting with them.

Pros: We have always wanted to stay at the Hotel Monteleone. Since we were traveling to New Orleans with friends from Ohio who have never been to the south, we decided to splurge. The experience and treatment we received during our stay was far above my expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted and assisted by the valet, doorman, and bellman. While speaking to the man during check in, my husband asked if a king upgrade was available. He then moved us to a king room complimentary. Our room was so nice with custom items making the stay extra special. We wanted dinner suggestions and some tour suggestions. The concierge, Anita, was great! She was very patient and knowledgeable of the area. She could tailor her suggestions to your specific requests. She was very great with multi-tasking and never once made us feel rushed on a decision. When one of the tours we wanted to book was sold out, she called 3 other vendors until she found an opening. The staff at Hotel Monteleone are all very friendly and speak everytime they see you. Even a lady from housekeeping stopped to ask how we were enjoying our stay. The location is central to EVERYTHING. When in New Orleans, we typically walk 8-10 miles per day, but Hotel Monteleone is so close we averaged 4-5 miles. This hotel is definitely worth the price.
Cons: I really have no complaints about my stay. The only thing to note are the small bathrooms, but this is standard in New Orleans.

I called the hotel to see if we could switch, but was rudely spoken to, hung up on twice when I asked to speak to a manager and when I finally did get ahold of someone in charge, they were unwilling to work out anything. I was at a loss for words. I travel to NOLA every few months and have always wanted to stay at hotel monteleone. So disappointed with the customer service, the way they spoke to customers, and although we did end up staying there that night, it will be the last time. Go to the bar, don't spend the night

Pros: - The location was in perfect proximity to the French Quarter (in the French Quarter) on the gorgeous Royal St which is, in my experience, the prettiest street in the French Quarter - There are ample antique shops, art galleries, restaurants, jazz clubs and cafes nearby - The hotel is exceptionally lovely, very clean and well-maintained - The rotating carousel bar on the first floor is fabulous with a great jazz band on Saturday nights. - Rooftop pool is gorgeous but was always full - The Spa sounded fantastic

I was under the assumption that I could pay directly for parking....however, the hotel put a hold on my debit card for services I didn't use...for example, room service. It will take 3-5 business days to receive my refund. That caught me off guard and caused my finances to be tight for a few days until I could move money around at my bank. I wish I had been aware of these charges.

Cons: While the hotel is new & modern with open spaces and large rooms it seems to be lacking warmth. For example the lights in the rooms were VERY BRIGHT with no dim levels, the floors are completely tile - no carpet or rugs so the room felt stark. Similar feel in the common spaces - for example the bar wasn’t open during the afternoon (IN NEW ORLEANS) and it seems the bar was the only popular space in the lobby area. The overall aesthetics are pleasing but something is just lacking. The management should really figure it out because the space is too nice not to be enjoyed by a high end clientele.

Cons: The location is on Canal but at the other end of Canal, so unless ur an avoid walker take an Uber or Lyft.

Pros: Beautiful, totally updated and high tech. Not overly luxurious but nice and super comfy rooms. Great gym facility and pool looked nice but we didn't venture down there. Can get busy with conferences and hear it's busy during football home games. Decent location if you don't mind walking. Street car stops right outside hotel which is mostly convenient unless it's running late or comes early. If it's busy (people buying tix, traffic) it can take a while longer than anticipated to get to your destination. We walked back from the French Quarter a few times...not a bad walk, probably around a mile. The location was fine for us but may not be for everyone. For the great rate we got for the amenities, the trade offs were worth it. All staff members were super nice, super accommodating and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs.

It's the same mass produced powdered egg bacon pancakes....that you get at crapy hotels for free. There is a omlet station and a big selection of pastries and fruit but I'm a eggs an bacon guy and it was horiable. The second negative I have is dependent. I stayed there for Mardi Gras and they shut down a lot of streets, so you have to walk because the taxis won't and can't take you down town. and its a long walk to Burbon street. It is located right next to the stadium if that's where you are going.

Pros: The room was very comfortable to be in. The bed was comfy and lighting was calming. Very little hallway noise and never heard the neighboring rooms. All the staff I encountered was friendly and courteous.
Cons: The bathroom was a little dirty, some mold growing in the crevice of the shower door. A soap wrapper was left in the bathroom from the last guest. Nothing too major though. Only other complaint would be how confusing it is to get from the main lobby to the room elevators and the parking garage. The signage isnt all that handy as in some areas the main lobby isn't mentioned at all, either is the parking garage. It's especially frustrating with the arbitrarily named conference halls displayed all over.

Cons: our AC broke one night so it was 80+ degrees in the room and we had to wait up for an hour at 2am to get someone from the hotel staff to reset the thermostat. There was also quite a bit of road noise, even up at the 10th floor - was woken up by a garbage truck in the middle of the night.

Pros: It's the attention to detail that left us with a lasting favorable impression. Each employee of the hotel was very polite and at the top of their game at every brief interaction. It was a brief stay and what created the lasting impression was when we were departing the hotel a bellman made sure to tell us Good Morning, how nice is was to have us, and to have a wonderful day. We could have made it out the door without him saying much but he made sure to tell us these things with conviction and we felt that it wasn't just lip service. Nice job folks, from check in to check out. We'll be back.

No one told us when we made our reservations that Mardi Gras parades (at least two) would be passing by our hotel after 4:00 p.m. (which is check in) making it impossible to get to our hotel. We waited in traffic for over 3 hours trying to reach our hotel, then the New Orleans police started diverting all the traffic and set up barriers making it impossible to be anywhere near Canal Street. The front desk at the Marriott told us they couldn't guarantee we could reach the hotel by midnight. We had to drive to Baton Rouge to get a hotel and missed out being with family the next day for our grandchild's 1st birthday.

The room itself was nice and large and came equipped with a coffee maker and small fridge. Bathroom could use some updating (tub/shower) but was certainly adequate with decent amount of counter space. We didn't eat in the onsite restaurant, but did have cocktails and snacks at the bar. Great time there with drinks made to order and delicious small plates to share. The bar staff were friendly, served impeccable drinks and couldn't have been more accommodating. Hotel also has a Starbucks inside with full service and selection as you would find in an offsite Starbucks store. Loved our stay at the Marriott on Canal Street and can't wait to return!!

Everyone I spoke with wanted to make sure we were taken care of and it felt like they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. I had a small reception for my wedding at The Redfish Grill that's attached to the hotel and it was a great experience. I believe our waitress was Anne or Anna and she was very kind, personable, and provided the best service possible. I would definitely recommend this Hyatt to someone looking to stay in NOLA.
Cons: The only con I have for the hotel is the Powdered Sugar cafe attached to the hotel. My husband and I didn't get our orders on time (in a busy setting, I would understand. There were only two or three other tables seated) and what we did get was continually incorrect with no apology or explanation. At some point my plate was taken from me without saying anything with my fork still on it where I had dropped it. Overpriced for what it is.

We were right on the edge of Bourbon St. and Canal St., but also close to the Superdome where we attended the US Women's' soccer game! We were able to check in an hour early and when we were leaving the doormen called for us a cab. Very nice experience and would stay again in the future! Definitely take a cab to/from hotel! It was a $36 flat rate and well worth it because they pick you up and drop you off exactly where you need.

Pros: My girlfriend and I went there for Mardi Gras, and it was ideally located - near all of the parades, but far away from the French Quarter that we didn't get a bunch of drunk idiots yelling (although it still sometime happened, which is not the hotel's fault). That being said, it is within 5 minutes walking distance of the middle of the French Quarter. The room was small but very nice (the building is 100 years old). It was also very clean and the staff was overall friendly. For Mardi Gras they give you a wrist band so you can come into the hotel late at night (although they were a bit spotty on checking). Overall, a good place to stay (if you don't mind driving through the one-way streets of downtown New Orleans). You could do a lot worse, especially for Mardi Gras. 4/5 stars.
Cons: The hotel said it had valet parking, but during Mardi Gras they appeared not to - I had to drive myself to a parking lot 3 blocks away, pay $25 a night to park AND wake up by 9AM to go feed the meter. This seemed a bit unreasonable to me, and it would've been nice if the hotel had let us know beforehand. The continental breakfast is a hotel continental breakfast - mediocre. They had two waffle makers, cereal, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs one day and scrambled eggs the next, and the typically assortment of OJ, Apple Juice, pastries, bagels, tea, coffee, etc. We were told it opened at 5 AM, but found that it was closer to 7AM. Very annoying if you want to wake up early or needed to leave early.

Wouldn't have been a big deal ... but, they attempted to set up a temporary bar near the front desk that was a joke with few drink choices an inexperienced bartender. The majority of the staff was obviously focused on serving the wedding party & not the other hotel guests. - The entrance is very small, has a very steep, slippery incline and is difficult to navigate with luggage and vehicles.

Pros: I adore classic New Orleans art and history so my friend recommended this place - its a perfect blend of the newest culture and classic. i not only stayed here once but twice when my flight got pushed - thats 4 nights over a series of 9 days. I loved all of it! the gym the rooftop pool the paintings the beds the PB&Js at night! i could live here for years! thank you so much for all you did during my stay and i cannot wait to return in the fall to once again live it up at Le Pavillion!

Cons: Intercontinental is supposed to be IHG's flagship hotel. During my stay I killed three spiders in the bed. The duvet cover was torn and tattered in multiple places. The carpets were not vacuumed. Someone else's dry-cleaning tags were left on the floor (2). The drinking glass in the bathroom had dried toothpaste stains from someone previously before me. For three days in a row I turned the same drinking glass up thinking that it would be washed and would return to my hotel room to find that it had just been flipped over, uncleaned. The best yet was the last night that I stayed the cleaning staff had left a dust in my room by the door. I guess since they werent cleaning they decided to leave the tools for me do their work. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned about the cleanliness and too busy to give it much thought. Valet also higher than any other hotel in area. Will go back to the Holiday Inn Chateau LeMoyne north of the quarter, always clean in 5+ stays there.

Pros: The hotel is newly renovated and totally updated and modern from its previously 80s styling. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it was nice before but amazing now. Try a balcony room and go down to one of the bars for a signature New Orleans cocktail. It's 2 blocks from Canal and 3 blocks from Famous Bourbon Street. It's also perfectly located for catching games and events at the super dome. Bout 3-5 blocks. Not a bad walk at all. It's where I stay when I go to watch the Saints

We were “upgraded” to a suite which had a queen spring with a twin mattress with the springs sticking out so we were unable to use this for our kids but still had to pay the upgrade price. Therefore the “upgrade” did not provide us with any additional sleeping space. The room door key did not work because they had to charge the lock. The concierge desk was impossible to reach to get towels, sheets, ect. It would just ring and go to voicemail. We tried to order food from the in house restaurant and they directed us to their in room menu which did not exist. Our room was two levels with an exit door on each level. I asked if they could deliver our sheets to the second level because we may not hear the knock on the first level and they said they were unable to go to the second level, even though this is a normal hotel floor with a normal hallway door entry so I was confused by this. Many of these issues are likely because they are short staffed with COVID-19 and hopefully will be improved.

Cons: I didn't like the fact I had to change rooms at midnight due to there being a MOUSE in my room. I was told I'd have a $100 credit to my room and that someone would assist me in moving. Whoever came up just handed us a key to the new room and left. I wasn't assisted with a cart to move. The new room was 12 floors higher but way more spacious. I was content until the next morning I went to shower and there was pubic hair or something slapped across the back of the shower meaning no one bothered to clean the shower....it probably could have been easily removed with a wipe of a cloth but apparently that was too much effort. As I checked out I mentioned my $100 credit which I now learned went back to the hotel. The fact that it was $100 to spend within the hotel was not communicated to me and in my opinion I thought I was going to be refunded $100 from room cost. I was very unhappy with that. How would I know to use the credit before check out and when would I use it between the time I had to transfer all my stuff to another room with no help,sleep,get ready and overcome being disgusted by the shower,and checkout by noon. I would like a refund for my stay. The manager supposedly is communicating with this company since this was a third party ordeal.

Cons: The hotel was overbooked the first night. They told us upon check in that our room would be ready in about 20 mins as it was being cleaned. It wasn't ready until midnight. The room we had reserved was a double room, they ended up giving us a king room that had been smoked in by the prior guests (there were still ashes in the bathtub). We asked if they could send up a cot - which never arrived. Luckily the second night they switched our rooms. Overall we were pretty disappointed.

Cons: I booked a room more than 6 months in advance. After I booked, I called the hotel directly because I needed a roll away bed. They said no problem, because I had booked an oversized room. Then, about a month prior to my trip I called them directly again to ensure that I would have a roll away bed. The person that I spoke to said that they would put a note in my account - which they did. When I got to the hotel to check in I was told that they did NOT have a roll away bed available because it’s a “first come first serve” basis. I had 5 people in a room with 2 beds, and no where to put that 5th person!! So we paid $566 PER NIGHT for someone to sleep on the floor because nobody told me either time that I called that they could not guarantee a roll away bed!!! I will be contacting corporate about this.

Pros: The decor of this place is awesome! It starts with the huge vintage-style lighted sign out front, and everything you see from that point on makes you say, "ooh--look at that!" (in a good way). The gorgeous tile-work on...well, everything, is amazing. And--I wanted to take all of the furniture home with me! The character of this building is something special. You don't complain about the uneven floors because you're staying in an old warehouse! How cool! Exposed brick walls (that aren't fake) are always great--I only wish they had left all of them bare instead of painting some of them. They also had great coffee and blueberry muffins!
Cons: It was quite warm for this time of year (high 70's in late-November), which of course is nothing new in the south, but the a/c units in the rooms were not so great. Pretty much the same as a window unit-loud, and hard to create an even temp in the room. The ceiling fan was also not great, and that's one thing every bedroom needs in my opinion. The room we had (queen interior deluxe, I think) was pretty small, but we didn't plan to stay inside much anyway. One last thing--watch out for the bed rails! I nailed my shin on the corner of ours three times.

Cons: I reserved a double with a view way in advance of the Conference to insure a room in the host hotel. Guaranteed per the reservation contract. No double available upon timely arrival. Prepaid over $600 for 2 night, wherein other conference attendees paid half the amount. 18th Floor, low water pressure. Mattress extremely hard. Weather was bad, so the hotel was convenient to access the Convention Center. This hotel deal was no deal at all for me. Seriously punitive foe me, though trying to take care of lodging way in advance. Over $600 for a single bed, 2 nights for a Regional Conference? Never again!

Cons: Everything has a huge fee associated with it, the valets were unfriendly and purposely gave us bad directions because we used self Park, our room felt like a motel six, the bed didn't have a comforter, when I called they acted unconcerned and sent up a thin scratchy blanket. The tv signal was terrible, the remote was from the 1990's, it literally took 4 seconds to change from one channel to the next. all of the appliances were unplugged. We were scheduled for 3 nights but we cancelled the last two and switched to a bnb in uptown. MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE. The same price when you add up all the extras the Hilton tries to gouge you on.

Pros: Hotel has outlets to the Canal and Bourbon streets so location wise it is perfect. We booked a Deluxe 2 Queen bed room which was spacious and tidy.
Cons: Check in/Check out is troublesome and a lengthy process. We booked 2 nights through Cancelon on Kayak and reservation was confirmed as it was prepaid and non-refundable but the hotel declined to have received a reservation for 2nd day. Since I showed my reservation voucher they had to book me unwillingly not before questioning the authenticity of the third party and my booking price. I had to email them a copy of my reservation. Despite all of that, the keys stopped working the next day and I was told we were supposed to check out. I repeated the discussion with me sending the reservation pdf to the day staff this time. Finally checking out isn't easy and quick as you would expect in a 4-star hotel. The check in/check out line is common so you wait for your predecessor to realize he is only you two days ago sorting out his reservation problems to check in. I would probably think twice the next time before using a third party agent for my booking.

Pros: We arrived at the hotel just before midnight on St Patrick's day. The area was still very much lively with St Patty's festivities. This gave us a chance to quickly check in (with friendly and helpful staff!!), drop off our bags and check out Bourbon St, which was the cross street of the intersection where the hotel is located. Bourbon St is what it is, but the hotel's prime location made it really easy to explore part of the French Quarter in the wee hours of the night feeling safe walking around.

Pros: From the moment we walked in the staff was amazing! Told us all about NoLa and how to be prepared for Mardi Gras. The gentleman at the front was a huge help, he helped me get a custom to parade routes and also had great suggestions on places to go outside the parade! Loved the whole trip! Thank you guys!

Cons: When I showed up my reservation had been canceled. I was on the phone for over a hour trying to get things straight. We were finally put in a room after they told us there were no more rooms available. The room we were put smelled awful clearly people had been smoking in it all night long. They ended up moving us to another new room. We ended up missing our dinner reservation, making our friends wait, and were late to the event we were there for. Overall the worse hotel experience I have ever had.

The Trolley drop off and pick you up right outside of the hotel and it's very cheap. $3 for a 24 HR riding pass. I love the price of the hotel and the fact that they allowed my check out to be at 12pm when asked.

Pros: The hotel is ideally located on Canal Street. It is close enough to the French Quarter, that a walk takes about 15 minutes, but far enough that you do not have the noise, the dirt, or the crowds.
Cons: It was agony trying to get information about parking. It took several attempts to get someone to answer the phone. The first employee was not helpful. I called a second time and got someone who gave me the phone number for the parking garage. I called the garage number, and the agent gave me the address and the rates, which was my original purpose.

Cons: The place has cleanliness issue. It’s not filthy, but it needed to be a lot better. Fining other people’s hair and q-tips in the bathroom was not pleasant. The elevators were pretty run down (chipped off chunks of tile, mirrors on which the the reflective backing was worn out long before the hotel opened). The room was tiny and the windows had some dog brown gunk (tar?) splattered across the outside. The price was ok but not amazing. Certainly not cheap enough to make up for the issues.
