Had only a positive stay!!! No spa, & no pool as was listed on booking.com
Solid building structure, no noise from neighbors, excellent airconditioning, large room, good beds, with seemingly new firm mattresses, helpful and prompt desk staff,... remarkable good for the low price. Missing cups and a coffee maker.
Clean room, perfect bathroom, incredible value. Bad location for families. The main street one block away has a reputation for prostitution.
Wow, this hotel was terrible. I arrived at night time and had to stand out in the cold to sign the room paperwork. First time having to do this for a hotel. Must be a sign of how shady the area is. The hallway carpet was very stained and gave off a dingy smell. The room seemed clean and had fake wood floors (definitely a plus over stained grimy carpet) but the desk chair had some scary stains. I had to move a low table over to sit on to work on my laptop. The bed didn't seem too bad until I woke up in the morning with my face planted in a spot that was very nasty smelling. I moved to another motel after this horrible experience.
The room was very clean & comfortable. The staff was extremely courteous & the housekeeping was very attentive. I will absolutely stay here when I visit in the future. The location was perfect-- just 5 minutes from the French Quarter-- & it was great for rest as there were no obnoxiously loud people partying. The parking is gated & they have a person at night watching the parking lot. I have no complaints!
Our room was directly adjacent to the interstate and we could not sleep because of the noise. Check-in was through a cage which I found disturbing and made me feel unsafe. We only booked at this motel because it was recommended to us. We will never go back and in fact will be the big joke of all our accommodations in our many travels.
cheap. stayed 3 nights, maid only came once.
The New Orleans Inn was situated within under 10 miles for most of the cities attractions. Warning-There are adult channels on the TV. Not safe for kids! It's in a questionable part of town and has trains passing by at night, so loud noises at odd hours. All doors were left open during house cleaning.
This location was only about 5 miles from bourbon street and very affordable for anyone traveling on a budget. Not the best hotel but it serves its purpose.
Just as described.

Definitely was not worth the price!
It is cheaper than most New Orleans Hotels and I could find a room with very short notice. It is not very far away from New Orleans points of interest. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep uninterrupted. Intense cigarette smoke smell. I don't smoke and I got a smoker room (they didn't ask me if I smoked and gave me that room). The location is not very good looking (it is almost under a bridge).
The office staff was very helpful, the maids kept the room very clean. The only couple of negatives I experienced were, we had troubles getting a cab, and we ended up taking the public bus. This was extremely easy and a lot cheaper than taking a cab!The carpet in the room, needs shampooed. looked clean but dirtied my socks
The bathroom was clean & there was free wifi. I did not like having to check in through a barred window. we had to requestt towels ad extra sheets because there was not a skirt on the matress and and the box spring was horrible.
