The bus eventually came, offloaded half the passengers and then returned 20 minutes later to start to offload the rest. It's the longest time I've ever spend disembarking from a plane and clearing an airport - very poor whoever was responsible (I'm assuming Sydney airport was at fault)."

Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

We asked for a ramen noodle cup instead that the flight crew denied they had, only after seeing them offer it to another family just seconds before. I was very disappointed!! I believe the flight attendant knew of my concerns because she started asking me if the service was ok. If your doing a good job, then you won’t have to ask."

Kekurangan: "The seat's recline button was broken which meant having to sit for 12+ hours upright. Upon hearing that the seat was broken, the airline crew offered my mother a check for 100 SGD (14% of the ticket value) to be used on Singapore airlines (for the discomfort caused for over 50% of the flight time). They changed her seat from Seoul to Singapore. When I wrote to them about it, they came back saying they had offered her a seat change from LA to Singapore, and she had declined, which is absolutely false. When I called that out, they said, maybe they did not offer aisle seats (note that the broken seat was not aisle). So it just shows that they don't want to accept that they messed up. They even told me that despite their best efforts in pre-flight checks, certain defects only surface when the flight is in progress. Will never ever travel on this airline again."

I thought that she should’ve said that it was time to put your seat up. It was frustrating that she didn’t support me and the request of the captain. Your seats are very uncomfortable upright when the person in front of you has their seat back."

Kekurangan: "The cabin crew had a very difficult time dealing with the annoying passengers, who were mainly tourists returning from Abu Dhabi. They had a tough job, but it was all very negative and stressful."

Kelebihan: "I flew economy Melbourne > Abu Dhabi and then Abu Dhabi to Melbourne. The first leg of the flight was great, the flight wasn’t full and I had a whole row to myself. The flight attendant even gave me some tips to ensure nobody sat there. This flight was on an A380 so the plane was large and it felt spacious."
Kekurangan: "There are a number of things that Etihad do that just degrade the quality and experience of the flight and I probably wouldn’t fly with them again as a result. I’ve listed these below: 1) Entertainment system is poorly appointed and travel in two seperate months found that little had been refreshed on the in flight programs. 2) The entertainment system is deactivated until the seat belt sign is turned off, and is deactivated again about 30 minutes prior to landing. 3) You practically have to cut off your arm to get some water. I would always bring my own water on the flight, but Australian regulations prevent more than 100mls being carried on flight. 4) The service is inconsistent, some staff are just downright rude and others are incredibly friendly. The time waiting after pressing the call bell is excessive and in one case my drink never arrived. 5) Unlike other airlines, they don’t give you a “menu” to chose from for the inflight meal. Instead they just come around asking “Chicken, Lamb or vegetarian”, and lack any real understanding of what’s actually in the food. 6) When you order a drink, they open the can pour some into a cup but don’t give you the remainder in the can. 7) The inflight wifi is expensive. 19.95 USD for 180mb puts them at one of the most expensive. Overall, I would have expected a bit more from an airline such as Etihad."

Kelebihan: "Boarding in this time was quick, flight was delayed by almost 45 minutes but pilot made time and we were only 10 to 15 minutes late landing into Singapore. The only redeeming quality was the nice gentleman next to me who was helpful."

Kekurangan: "The seats were minuscule...the depth was narrower than when Id previously used different airlines. The space between rows was also compromised. I think that the Dreamliner is even more streamlined with less space so they can put more passengers on! The toilet kept flushing when seated on it! The food was repetitive - ordered Asian Veg and got almost the same food for 3 meals. The dessert was exactly the same 1 piece of melon and 2 cubes pineapple. The male crew member did not want to be there. He grunted at the passengers. He was annoyed and when clearing food trays dropped it and aI wore custard all over me and the armrest of my seat. Fortunately I had a blanket covering me so it all landed on that. He was more upset that it also splattered him."

Kelebihan: "Overall very good The flight attendants were exceptionally professional. It went way beyond taken care of customers."
Kekurangan: "Other customers on the flight were extremely rude, spread the dirty things all over the airplane! Need moreupdated movie selections."

Kekurangan: "There was a medical emergency on board, so bathrooms did not get the necessary attention. Had to ask for toilet paper for two different bathrooms. Transferring to this flight as a NIGHTMARE. The boarding gate was a long way from the arrival gate. Went through an endless maze. Went through two security check points. At both check points I was sent for pat down. At the first there were five other women who were waiting for pat down. All white women. Discrimination???? At the second security, I had not even passed through the detector and the officer was waving me to get a pat down. At that point I started laughing. Next automated preclearance for immigration, then had to wait in line to talk to immigration officer. It is a miracle that I made it to the flight on time. Passport and boarding pass checked minimum of 6 times in this process. On arrival in Los Angeles, there was a bus ride to the terminal for luggage pick up. My husband was at the terminal I normally come to, I had no way to contact him (Indian sim), no change for pay phone. A fellow passenger was merciful and let me use her phone send husband messages and eventually we met up. I would not use Eithad for India to USA for this reason only. The security and immigration preclearance sucks."

Kelebihan: "I'd never flown Etihad before and had a 13 hour flight followed by a 5 hour flight with them so I went in with fingers crossed for a good experience. My flight from JFK to Abu Dhabi was on an A380 and it was a spectacular plane. The crew was amazing the entertainment selection was great, the bathrooms were clean - it was a great experience."
Kekurangan: "I have no complaints other than it would have been nice to be able to go online and have a look at my seating & have the option to change my seat. Fortunately I didn't need to change my seat but it would be nice to have the option to at least look."

Kelebihan: "Business class lay flat seats allow sleep. Staff tries to pamper you with good service. Smooth long flight 10hrs40min and flight left 30 min late and still arrived early 40 min."
Kekurangan: "Online checkin requires passport check at airport so you try but cannot print boarding pass. Online would not let me order gluten free vegetarian meal for daughter, but staff at terminal said oh it is too late now, you need 24 hrs notice... on flight though they figured it out and brought her foods she could eat so it worked out ok."

Kekurangan: "If you have any problems. Do not call customer support!!! Call centre is in SA, and the operatives are unhelpful, put the phone down and incompetent. I have reservations wheather to book with BA ever again due to my bad experience. 2 hours wasted on the phone, followed by calls the next day to finally get 2 off flights cancelled and a return flight amended in my party of 3. Not fun!!"

Kekurangan: "Hardly saw a steward in business class the whole flight. Must be part of BA’s cost saving initiatives, but means you don’t get food on time, offered drinks or even a menu"

Entertainment tv 4inc which doesn't work. Seats uncomfortable. It's better to travel will Emirates.i have no words why did I travel in BA."

Kelebihan: "One aspect that was greatly appreciated was when the cabin head came over the speaker and asked everyone to please return their seat to the up right position so that everyone could enjoy their meal. When you sit in the main cabin, it's incredibly frustrating to have the person in from of you recline their seat. There is little room, and for the most part everyone is pretty selfish about that."
Kekurangan: "The cabin crew got a little snippy. Understandable. It is a long flight."

Kekurangan: "Check in was slow. There was a long line, only 3 counters were open and then one person behind one counter chose to chit chat with a co-workerwho stopped by for about 10 minutes unmindful of the people lined up and waiting to check in."

I was told it was because the airplane was "very old" which whilst it may be true it is not something I particularly want to hear. I was also told that as the flight was full I could only move seats if someone wanted to swap. I'm not sure if the flight attendant was expecting me to stand up and make a public request?!"

At the airport at check-in I had to wait 15 min to get a boarding pass and a seat allocated as there weren't any available as the company oversells tickets.. that's what they said to me at check in.. When boarding I was told that I needed to check-in my cabinet bag because of the crowded flight, the lady just put a label on the handle of my trolley and said to leave the bag down on my way to the plane.. Thing which of course didn't do... very bad service.. I'll keep traveling with easyJet and reconsider British airways only for a super cheap flight."
