2 delayed flights - hotel layover in a different country- lost baggage.

Silly to not even offer people water for free when they are paying so much for tickets.

You get what you pay for. It’s functional and gets you from point A to B in good comfort. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss .. they get your attention if you reach out.

They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave. They could have cut the delay in half, of at least let us stay in the terminal. Really just horrible planning.

The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

Pros: "Everything went smoothly from check in to arrival. Bags were delivered timely. Flights were on time."
Cons: "No entertainment options. Little to no food service."
Pros: "The crew are ok. They should find jobs with other, better airlines."
Cons: "Flight delayed on both legs. Delay management horrible, call centre was worse."
Pros: "Average flight"
Cons: "Changed the time of my flight early by more than 2 hours, with no communication. I therefore missed the flight. I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"
Pros: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."
Cons: "Flight wasn't on time to and from HKG."
Pros: "The staff were very kind, the seat had a great amount of leg room."
Cons: "There was no alcohol on the flight."
Cons: "From Baiyun (CAN) to SFO, the lunch - rice and stir-fry beef. The beef is the lousy part, which you cannot chew off. The airline staff probably never ate these meals. They do not know. Just check the leftover from the box and you will see - no one finishes the beef dish. It’s the worst in-flight meal"
Pros: "TV was okay when it was working, however crew was not around when I needed help and it was no longer functioning the last 3 hours of the flight."
Cons: "Food wasn't great. Not many options. Nothing vegetarian, of course I brought my own food, however it wasn't anything hot."
Pros: "The boarding was easy"
Cons: "My luggage was lost even when there was 4 hour layover. I have no clothes to wear."
Pros: "short (3 hours) flight. food is okay as airplane food. seats are pretty big."
Cons: "The only complaining is there isn't any Cantonese movies as it supposed to be a Guangzhou (廣東) bound."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "No USB charging. No charging at all. No wifi. Not all flight attendants speak English. No meal choice. In flight magazine Chinese language only. Confiscated my solar charger. At Guangzhou airport, many food courts take only Chinese cash. Internet service censored."
Pros: "I called the airline phone number many times but no one answered the call. I might not book the air ticket next because of this. Other than that, the overall service is good."
Cons: "The airline website is terrible and misleading. I paid for an extra long leg seat but chose a regular seat because the website didn’t indicate it clearly. I ended up losing my money and sat at the compact seat."
Pros: "Business class seats were as good as any first rate airline. Cabin crew was excellent"
Pros: "We enjoyed our flight on China Southern. The aircraft, the service, the staff, the food: everything was great. The flight was delayed out of Phuket, causing us to miss our connecting flight to SFO in Guongzhou, but China Southern provided us with a seamless alternate and our ultimate arrival at ATL was barely delayed."
Pros: "The service was outstanding. They had a person waiting as we got off the first flight to guide us to the second flight. The stewardesses were attentive and outstanding. The seats were comfortable, the food and movie optons were top notch. I can't recommend business class highly enough."
Cons: "I loved everything!"
Pros: "China Southern's cabin crew are amazing, responding quickly to anything a passenger might need. They seemed a little frustrated at the end of the flight near Wuhan, most likely because they had to clean and prepare to go on to Guangzhou."
Cons: "It wasn't super clear from our booking that we'd go to Wuhan and then Guangzhou instead of a straight shot! Seats were a bit uncomfortable on the Dreamliner for such a long-haul flight. Also, the food wasn't great but it's abundantly supplied, even a night-time snack if you asked."

Cabin crew as always are leaps and bounds the crowning glory of MH. Friendliness and natural warmth are such incredible traits. Food was very good on this flight also; and flexibility in meal time to accomodate rest was a plus point. Early arrival and landing as the first morning inbound at T4 LHR meant I was off the plane and in the queue for an Uber in less than 15 minutes!

I had purchased extra leg room for all legs of the flight but due to a delay in leaving Perth I was put on another flight but with Emirates. My luggage was initially lost but later found and my suitcase was broken. I ended up losing my upgrades

Pros: "Boarding was easy even though it started late, it was organized. Once I got on the plane I wasn't waiting a long time to get to my seat because they seated the people sitting in the back of the plane first. There is a huge selection of movies, tv shows, and music."
Cons: "They have 2 food options and they're just ok. There wasn't very many drink options either."
Pros: "Entertainment was good."
Cons: "Sadly one passenger in front of me talked loudly, for 7 hours straight, took an hour to sleep then talked again for the remaining 5 hours. Not airline fault"
Pros: "Malayasia airlines made me sad since they left my luggage in KL on my trip to Shanghai today. The agent in Shanghai was really bad to handle situation. He doesnt care at all. No one from Malaysia Airlines showed off to explain the situation. Me and my wife dont have any clothes to change. Very bad"
Cons: "Malaysia airlines need to Change the behavior of the staffs in shanghai especially the agent or the station manager of MAS"
Cons: "Custom check line 200 meters long, security check line another 120 meter long, why not combine them together and open two machine in parallel"
Pros: "The crew was extremely hospitable, and the food was excellent."
Pros: "cabin crew very friendly and professional"
Cons: "Seats cramped; not enough space, especially for long haul. Provide more space! Earphones didn’t work. Could not enjoy entertainment. Seat would not recline. Slow checking. Not enough counter staff. Check in counter contractor staff inexperienced and held us up for over an hour due to unfamiliar"
Cons: "Cancel last minute and no compensation given, how rude it is."
Pros: "This flight nothign"
Cons: "Major delay, should have offered passengers water or beverages. Food was very poor, no assistance for transfer on late flight."

Great. Very satisfied with a direct flight from Penang back to HK international. Stewards in the cabin were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to fly with Air Asia in the future.

They didn't have a single blanket for hire for a long haul overnight flight. This wasn't good enough even for a budget airline

Kayak shares with you the best price! and in my case it was Air Asia flight. Air Asia flight was on time, the boarding was seamless with FACES technology at KLIA2 and the pilot made a great smooth landing upon arrival. Excellent trip!

Pros: "Could not board due to flight restrictions"
Cons: "Would suggest providing an email to let travelers know if the flight restrictions"
Pros: "Aero bridge availability"
Cons: "Choice to meals like McD mix and match. Can choose other combination of same value"
Pros: "No and No! Seat was cramped. Crew was ok"
Cons: "If they weren’t always on the PA. I was trying to read and someone was always talking"
Pros: "Efficiency"
Cons: "Attentiveness, we were miss for food purchasing was abit rush."
Pros: "The flight was okay, service was okay."
Cons: "Could be better if the departure was on time rather than delaying too much without clear explanation."
Pros: "On time boarding. Crew was helpful with duty free shopping."
Cons: "Could not connect to Rokki WiFi."
Cons: "Luggage check-in weighs luggage 22 kilos more than its actual weight and I was asked to pay almost RM650 ~ ($170), when I was asked to recheck they had to pull my luggage back and that took almost 40 minutes to later know that they made a huge mistake! 20 minutes to the boarding time I got confirmation that my luggage weights are correct and given a boarding pass to gate P11. walked to gate P11 and saw no one there, and there were no signs of what was happening, I checked Kayak app then I noticed that they changed the gate to L10 which is a totally different building ( 16 minutes before gate closure ), I had to run the whole airport to go to gate L10. not to mention that flight was delayed by a good 1 hour!"

The crew was not customer oriented at all, even confrontational . The aircraft needs more attention to detail as far as comfort, and the 1 hour sitting at the gate with no air is inexcusable

Not clear why boarding passes could only be issued at the counter and not through the kiosk. I had already check-in on the web, so waiting to obtain a boarding pass 1.5 hours before the actual flight defeats the purpose of early web check-in.

no charging point. food offering is limited and very much on the budget line. Overall is not satisfying for such a price and duration of flight.

We were delayed, but there was never any update given. Everyone was standing at the gate as boarding was supposed to commence at 13:10 for a 13:55 flight. We didn't actually start getting on the shuttles to the plane, until after 14:00. No updates, no information given at all.

It was a cheaper flight and it arrived early. I thought the crew were pretty noisy for an overnight flight, and my friend was not able to sleep because of the noise. Also I think it’s absurd they don’t provide complementary water. Why does everything have to be a surcharge? Airplanes are dehydrating and it would be beneficial to help passengers stay healthy.

I paid an additional fee for specific seats because I was flying with my two children. I even checked in online and confirmed my seats, so at the airport did not think to double check my seats. The lady at the check in desk gave me different seats that were not together, nor did she say anything, even though she could see I was flying with children. Got to the plane and only realized what had happened then. Scoot refused to refund me that extra fee or take responsibility for what had happened.

U could offer everyone a drink ,juice or water.. coffe or tea ...ur air craft isn't a flea market ,where someone has to buy a tea or water!!

Instead of the flight attendants talking to each other they should have been monitoring the passengers. The person beside me took a phone call literally 30 seconds before the plane landed. As we were going down the runway ( from landing ) a person in the row in front of me and behind me made phone calls; CRAZY

Pros: "Air Crew was polite. Ground crew was the slowest and most inefficient group of people I've witnessed. There'd be 3 people working, but 2 of them would be talking to each other, letting the queues build up."
Cons: "Ground experience was pretty terrible at the airport. Most likely I'd avoid flying through here again."
Pros: "The crew were super patient (a must when dealing with the quality of passengers from Trichy who were lacking in manners and etiquette)."
Cons: "Boarding was chaotic. The majority of passengers seem to not be used to the normal manners and etiquette of queuing and it was chaotic with pushing. Some discipline and order needs to be enforced by ground crew (and this will no doubt make the cabin crews' lives easier)."
