Overview of THAI Smile

As this airline is primarily based in Thailand, a majority of its flights are domestic. However, the company has been adding to its list of international flight paths, making it possible for passengers to travel to other countries in Asia, such as China, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia.

Although THAI Smile has not made any codeshare agreements with other companies, it is a member of Star Alliance. Star Alliance is the world’s largest airline organization and is headquartered in Germany, with some of its additional members including Asiana Airlines and Air India. The company is also a subsidiary of Thai Airways.

THAI Smile offers two travel classes for passengers to choose from, known as Economy and Premium. If you purchase an Economy ticket, you will have access to benefits like drinks, snacks, in-flight entertainment, and the option of bringing a carry-on bag for free. For those that will be flying Premium, you will be given perks such as a larger seat that provides additional legroom and priority boarding.

This company has a fleet that is composed of 20 different planes, many of which are Airbus. For short to medium-range flights, the Airbus A320-200 is the aircraft that is used the most often, as it can fit almost 175 passengers and has a comfortable seating arrangement. However, out of all of the different types of planes that the airline employs, the Airbus A320-200SL is the one that is used the most frequently, because it can fit approximately 160 passengers and has an impressive flying range.
