You get what you pay for. It’s functional and gets you from point A to B in good comfort. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss .. they get your attention if you reach out.

They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave. They could have cut the delay in half, of at least let us stay in the terminal. Really just horrible planning.
The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"
Pros: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."

The flight I took before: they change the airplane to batik which was worse with no entertainment, smaller seat pitch, etc. I book Malindo for a reason and paid for what expected using Malindo!! If they had to change the plane they should've given better one or given back compensation to passengers! Now this flight, they didn't activate the entertainment till way later and turned off way too early. They didn't give any earphone as supposed to. Malindo's service has become bad."

Cons: "I sit in 2K of A350-900. Though it is known as a throne seat, there is an error on the installation of this seat. The foot rest that comes up and supposedly joined with the ottoman to make up the flat bed is too long so this seat never can actually go to full 180 degree mode."

(Ouch) Anyway after paying the extra bag fee I went there office in the airport and purchased the same extra bag for my return flight for $28.00. Nice flight but make sure you purchase ample baggage when booking your flight."

Scoot refused to change my flight even though I had booked a flexible ticket. MyTrip wanted to charge me an extra $271 for a ticket that was only listed as $217. I complained about this to scoot and they didn't give a shite. So never again will you be getting money from me Scoot. You can Scoot off.
Connection flights are smooth, both flight takeoff arrive on time, that will be the best u can expect. Food no order, service no complain, entertainment not seen, cleanliness can be improve.
Instead of the flight attendants talking to each other they should have been monitoring the passengers. The person beside me took a phone call literally 30 seconds before the plane landed. As we were going down the runway ( from landing ) a person in the row in front of me and behind me made phone calls; CRAZY

Cons: "Assigned seat 30A... This row shouldn't exist at all, though seatguru states that seat pitch is consistent at 29inch, it doesn't feel like that at all. When the seat infront reclined, it hit my knee... And i'm not tall just 1.7m. Then row 30 seats doesn't recline, the recline function is there but almost immediately you hit the bulkhead... Lastly, there was this male stewardess who is plain rude, i would be angry if he was a street hawker, let alone a flight attendant. He shouts at passengers to stop eating (some bread which they packed), it wasn't directed at me so i didn't quite bother. But a while after i upgraded to row 13 (exit row) and was snoozing, he came over, grabbed and tucked my arm and asked me the girl seated next to me to go back to our seats... When i asked "what do you mean go back to our seats? We paid for the upgrade." He walked away. The only saving grace is he came back 5-10mins later to apologise saying he didn't know we paid for the upgrade."

Pros: "We took JetStar from Taipei to Osaka, and the experience was good. The flight was smooth, boarding was fast, and the ground/gate/cabin crew members were friendly and pollite. The back of the seats was thin, so when the passengers behind stretched legs, we could felt their knees right at our backs. The seat size and leg room were reasonable, about the same as those on the short distance connecter planes we often take in the USA. We did not purchase food or entertainment so can't comment."
Cons: "The only inconvenience was the confusion caused by the check in counters in the Taoyuan airport. JetStar Asia and JetStar Japan had the identical logo ("JetStar") and crew uniform, and each had a flight heading to Osaka. We arrived the airport 3 hours prior to departure and queued at the only counter for JetStar to Osaka--and of course it was the wrong one. The counter for our flight did not open until two hours before and the sign was not up until then. A girl behind us ended up queuing at the wrong counter as well."
