Technical problems checking in. Had to wait a long time while they got things ready.
The flight was delayed and changed of boarding gates without notifying the passengers; no updates on electronic boards. Everyone had to wait for a very long time and tired. No food was served even though our ticket covered a dinner set. I got to my hotel after midnight. Terrible experience with this flight

Cons: "When connecting from a domestic flight to an international flight in Hanoi they do not check your bags to the final destination. They also do not inform you that you have to change terminals when arriving in Hanoi. I barely made the connection because of these two issues."

Seats were very uncomfortable And the tv screens did not work neither did the phone charging ports. The crew was very friendly and the food was very good.
Philippine Airlines needs to do better in giving access to wheelchair. My uncle is PWD and they let him walk to boarding. It happened both inbound and outbound flights
Entertainment system in business class was broken. Not available during the entire trip. WIFI was difficult, kept disconnecting and required new passcode to re-connect (at additional cost, even if yo had already paid for the entire flight). In business class, they gave me free passcode, but I needed 4 of them to keep connected the entire flight.
Upgraded to a business class by an auction and it was the cheapest bid.
Our flights were delayed multiple times and we had less than an hour connection time before our flight took off. Arrived late with only 25 minutes before next flight but no ground crew helped us to get to our next gate even though our flight crew assured us we would get some help. Transitioned to another flight in MNL terminal 1 but got stuck at security so then had to run to make connection. To top it off our luggage didnt make it either. Paid for biz class seats but did not receive biz class experience. The flight crew, food and entertainment were all excellent. We just wish we didnt feel so stressed about connection and not having luggage until the next day.
Everything was ok except that one of my checked in baggage which was new lost 2 of its wheels and so I filed a complaint and hope they would give comoensation. otherwise, everything was good!
Pros: "Excellent experience and service. Appreciated the transfer process and shuttle service in Manila fromTerminal 2 to Terminal 1 to make the connection to NYC. Very smooth and efficient with a a 2 hour window to do all the security checks etc. Very good communications."

You get what you pay for. It’s functional and gets you from point A to B in good comfort. However, food options are limited and cash only, Crew is a hit and miss .. they get your attention if you reach out.

They got to the terminal late, with no one on the arriving flight, boarded us late, and left us sitting there for 2 hours before they got us off the ground. They knew they were going to be late, yet they never got an updated flight plan from their head office until long after the flight was supposed to leave. They could have cut the delay in half, of at least let us stay in the terminal. Really just horrible planning.
The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"
Pros: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."

The flight was okay it was the kayak customer service that was poor, I have been trying to change my name on my flight ticket 3 days before my flight and nothing got done about it even tho I messaged so many times and phoned, all I got in return was that is was being processed and still to this day nothing has been done about it, I think it’s disgusting and un needed stress to the trip.

Pros: "China Southern CZ657 SFOCAN on a 777-300ER. Seating configuration in economy is a comfortable 3-3-3. They use some memory foam-like material for the seat padding and it is very comfortable. The crew was professional and friendly throughout."
Cons: "The price for this trip was just under $500 roundtrip CNXSFO. The food was nothing to write home about but during the flight, they offer endless Cup of Noodles and finger sandwiches and the vegetarian ones are very tasty."

Pros: "China Southern's people in Guangzhou are helpful and attentive. The boarding process goes as well as it can when boarding a plane that seats over 500 people. I enjoy flying on the upper deck of the A380. Even though the entertainment system went out late in the flight, it couldn't overcome the helpfulness, and friendliness of the flight attendants. China Southern's flight attendants are the best in the world."

Prompt and efficient boarding. New MH-awards streaming worked first time on my personal device.

Cons: "The purser was not even polite. Was it because she was veiled and I was wearing a cross? I really hope not. The normal economy seats are cramped to an unacceptable level. I will avoid flying MH economy again. Malindo, a low-cost flying the same routes (SGN-KUL and KUL-CMB) I often fly, has a much better level of service than MH, supposedly a full service airline."
Pros: "First time on Malaysian. At least we didn’t disappear. All was okay except for the meal on the flight to Saigon. I’m not one to complain about airline food but the “meal” served was execrable, possibly the worst in 65 years of flying. And no alcohol on an international flight was niggardly in my estimation.. The flight from Penang to KL they had the cheek to serve a tiny cup of fake orange juice. I will avoid Malaysian in the future."
