Friendly staff, good enough seats. Cabin temperature was fine. Easy boarding and exiting.
Bus gate when we arrived in HK. Was delayed but not their fault (typhoon in HK). Everything else was fine.

The food was a bit salty this time.
The flight on an A350 wide body was uneventful. I was in the "Premium Economy" section, which is sold as regular "Economy" for domestic flights. Excellent seating 2+4+2. The food was OK, not much to write home about, but they skipped coffee and tea because of turbulence (hardly perceptible).
Boarding process in HAN was very confusing: there was a change of gate announcement just when boarding was to start. Everybody went like crazy through the airport terminal looking for a Gate that does not exist. Followed by a counter-announcement. And then being bussed to the aircraft. People came on board up to the last minute... Arrival in SGN crazy for a different reason. All 300-some passengers were bussed again. Just that the ladders were not ready, and then whoever drove could not adjust them, and then the busses were not ready either. 25 minutes from landing to the luggage belts. Vietnamese airports need to work on their their procedures.
The staff were attentive. The service was good and overall was okay
The leg room was decent on this flight and luckily the plane wasn't full, so we had an empty seat between us. Great for getting some sleep on an 8-hr red eye...
Boarding process was chaotic. They just board everyone at once. But I was impressed that they still loaded pretty quickly.
The price! Efficient and friendly service. If you don't need to be fed every 4 hours, don't need onboard entertainment and can handle the slightly less legroom than standard carriers then AirAsiaX is highly recommended
You get what you pay for, or in the case of budget carriers you don't get what you don't pay for. AirAsiaX is no frills but that said it is efficient and gets you where you want to go for the lowest prices around. The meal you receive with the 'bag upgrade' pack is ok but nothing special.
Check-in crew was extremely slow and clueless about what thet were doing. Little to no sense of urgency at all, made a few mistakes, many customers had to come back and get them fixed. One man was on the verge of tears because he was about to miss his flight. The employee even asked me for my visa for my arrival in Kuala Lumpur, for which none was required. When he realised his mistake, he seemed all the more confused. All in all, I have waited one hour in a line with five people ahead of me.

Plane was loaded quickly, and efficiently..pulled away from gate a little ahead of schedule. Friendly crew.
Food just Ok...bread rolls always served at the end of the meal,instead of with the meal.

the flight staff and comfort was excellent.
You are not allowed to use the phone during the flight even with flight mode so it is quite disappointing.

The economy class seats are actually some of the best to sleep in!
One of the crew members was a little rude. I was sleeping and was forced to wake up and pull my seat back all the way forward so the person behind me could eat.
Unsat. I asked for my flight to get changed it did not happen I had to by a whole new ticket. Waste of my time and money
