Stunning hotel, very friendly and accommodating staff, perfect location for all of Boston Construction on church across from my room, started early, relentless but hotel had no control over it
The hotel was very clean and very roomy. It also was close to the T Things I didn't like were.. Couldn't get the room to feel completely warm.set thermostat to 78 it barely hit 70. Parked in the parking garage a block away for $22 for the weekend compared to the hotel wanting to charge me $51 to park per day kind of a no brainier. Who's there was a pool or hot tub to relax in during our stay.
Had all the amenities you would want staying there for a few days for business! Great location, walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops! And easy access to public transportation.
Didn't like how the website advertises a pool and spa but they have neither.
Very close to 2 T lines, within 5 mins walk (green-Arlington and orange-Back Bay). Also lots of shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes walk away as well.Hotel is really nice and value for money. It is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Very comfortable bed and perfectly situated Unrequested early morning wake up call on check out date
Great location Most hotels I stay in offer water & have it randomly placed around the hotel. There was none to be found here; including the gym. When we attempted to use the vending machine to buy some, only took $1.@@ or coins. We only had larger bills.
The location was great. For $640/night there were zero amenities. Such as, the room came with 2 keurig pods, if you needed more (for your 4 night stay) they would happily provide them for you for $1 per kcup. Wifi was extra. Oh, there was a continental breakfast on the 28th floor however, for my $640/night that was not included in my stay. Not sure how you upgraded to coffee and a donut.
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Short walking distance to attractions. Check out was not until 12pm, maid knocked on door the door four times from 8am till 11:36am. Felt like was being rushed out.
Comfortable beds. Nicey decorated room. Pleasant staff. Party crowd in the hallways from 3:30 until 4:30 am even after I asked them to quiet down. Valet parking is $ 50 while a public parking lot is accross the street. Breakfast not included.
Friendliness of all staff Last time I stayed it cost 75$ a night. I know it was 30 years ago.... I miss Diamond Jims
I liked the location and the fact that I was granted a late check-out on the day of departure The constant attention of all the staff located in the lobby. would have liked to walk through there once without having to tell them all how I was doing.
Wonderful hotel in a central location. Service was impeccable. The lobby bar is a little dark. Too bad it doesn't have better views.
The location, the price, the ease of checking in and out. Nothing
We really liked the location of the hotel. It was close to all of the shopping and restaurants. We never had to take a taxi or drive our car until we were leaving. I thought the room we had was small although it was very clean.
Friendly staff. Room had everything you needed. Room as tiny, but functioned fine for a solo traveler.
location was good. easy access to places. quick breakfast was also fine. bagel was soft (I liked that) ... I wish I could have experienced bar which I did not ... I wish you had a coffee maker in the room.. It was very dry and I was dehydrated every morning... Also, (this is very personal but...) I had cup noodles which I could not make or eat becauase of no coffee makers( no hot waters...) I looked downstairs once and there were no coffee or hot water available...24hours?!? not sure if it was..
The price is fantastic, especially considering the location, which can't be beat. The accommodations were adequate. Since the building was old, the wifi didn't reach the rooms reliably. Wifi was available in the lobby, and there was a business center with two computers, printers, and a copier. Unfortunately, the printer for computers were not set-up. I had to use the FedEx around the corner to print.
This was probably nice in the 80's. Now it needs a renovation.
