By the time we arrived in Singapore, it is almost 0340. Collected the luggages, clear custom and arrived home is almost 0500. There was absolutely no refreshment provided in between, and have to switch between gates which are far apart."

By the time we taxied, I was certain that I was in danger of missing my Hong Kong connection and asked the flight attendant to have the pilot radio American to inform them, I got the impression that my request was a low priority for the disinterested crew and, as feared, I missed my connection which forced a daylong wait in Hong Kong. The plane was a 737-800. Malaysia, unlike it's peers, flies mostly narrow bodies inter Asia as they disposed of all their 777's after the second 777 was shot down. I lived in Malaysia and Singapore for eight years in the late '80's and early '90's, at which time I thought that Malaysian was the best airline in the sky. Sadly, their present service is US airline quality at best without the general ability of US carriers to keep to schedule which makes them one of the worst in Asia."

If AsiAsia are going to keep to this 7kg hardline they really need to do it across all airports and do it during the document check so the number of queues costumers are subjected to are minimized. I did purchase extra weight when purchasing the ticket however that weight MUST be in checked bags only. No margin here for discussion. Perhaps HotSeat passengers are less scrutinized??? This all may be just some transitional pains here and other airlines may follow the same model but in my 200+ flights on Nok Air this has NEVER happened. In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. First AirAsia flight for me so the vets reading this will be smiling quietly to themselves ;-)"

Cons: "I was not allowed on board due to absence of a transit visa for HongKong (I had few hours transit there before my next flight back to EU). I am allowed to stay up to 48h in HK airport for transit without any visa, I had to quickly find and purchase the flight ticket to HK with another airlines, with them it was no problem to fly to HK for transit. All other few flights with AirAsia were bad as well. We were refused to get water as a complimentary during a log flight from HK to Manila. Every flight was always delayed up to ~1 h."

Cons: "I have flight from kualalumpur to Guangzhou ,there was no whight on tickets, I booked through Kayak web site , Only 15 kg per person is avaliable and for fees , At low fare , I have to pay twice my ticket price for I didnt book my whight before flight online ,. ? ? Flight was 4 hours to Gungzhou , no meals on board , not even a glass of water . You have to pay again on board for your food , and drinks , I feel like traviling in a low degree shattel bus , in a very very poor quality ."

Cons: "Air Asia not only charged me for luggage at check-in, but charged me TWICE for the same piece of luggage, stating that since I was flying "two segments" they had to charge me two times, though my luggage and I were going to one destination (with a layover in between). Never again will I fly this airline."

Cons: "the air asia klia2 terminal is a dump. the gate seats are rock hard/uncomfortable. the air con in the terminal was set too cold. I think the check-in baggage fee was too high. if I would have ordered food the price would have been close to ctrip fairs, and on those flights u might get entertainment. I don't think I saved that much to not consider other carriers next time."

Cons: "was charged $72 at the airport to check my bag. I have not flown with Air Asia before and I did not know that I would not be able toa check my bag for free, let alone have to pay $72. I was disgusted. Air Asia should make their baggage fees more visible and honest so when a customer books a flight, they can take those fees in to consideration. Space inside the cabin is very limited. For tall people it is difficult to spread legs as the knees touch the seat in front. Luggage was missing when I arrived at my destination without any compensation to buy first necessity articles."

Cons: "They didn't even put my bag on the plane, they left it in the transit airport in Kuala Lumpur. I got my bag 24 hours later."

Cons: "No free food or drink...not even water. Tightest seating I've ever experienced. No in flight entertainment. No alcohol available whatsoever. Chaotic boarding by passengers crawling all over one another reminds one of the clambering patrons at popular night markets. Considerable flutter and vibration in port side main flap. Excessive blow by of bleed air into cabin at start up (heavy jet fuel odor inside). Somewhat sketchy landing...but not too bad considering heavy crosswind combined with good old fashioned seat of the pants flying (no computer aided landing assists here). All in all a decent flight for around these parts I guess...I mean at least the thing wasn't brush painted with house paint...been there before."

Cons: "The flight was turned around halfway to destination due to technical problem. Understandable and acceptable. However very little assistance was given to us once back in KUL while waiting for new flight. Zero compensation given, not even a free soda on the new flight! Hey Air Asia, its called a voucher! Never did get the meals we had paid for in advance when booking. Will avoid this cheap skate airline in the future."
