Singapore airlines has resumed after Covid selling premium services but not opened lounges to cater for the demand you cannot get a seat in their lounges and social distancing is non existent. I wouldn't pay for services you don't get so be aware.

Pros: "To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA)."

The Singapore Airways website does not state this anywhere, and it was not until I arrived at the airport that I was informed that I wouldn't be able to check in, but nor could I refund or transfer the ticket. The booker should be obliged, when one enters the passport information upon purchasing the ticket, to make note if the passport expiration time is not valid for the flight. Spent $600+ on the flight, and the customer service person I spoke to from the airport was very abrasive and not interested in helping me figure out an alternative."

Pros: "The aircraft was clean, new, spacious and quiet. The bathrooms were regularly maintained. The food quality, selection and quantity was excellent for the economy class. Even the serving utensils were solid metal and had a very high quality feel to it. Having an endless supply of mid flight snacks was also appreciatd I always like the warm wet towels, which were offered at take off and landing. The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."
Cons: "The crew lacked its usual pep and cheer. For some reason they seemed very introverted and tired. First time on Singapore Airline that I noticed. The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

The Thailand Airways employee at the Indera Ghandi Airport " Indian guy " was very bad he hold us for 2 hrs and then he run away letting us the last people at the transit counter and couse us to be so late and about to lose our flight to Bangkok, for nothing. He asked us of we have a retuern ticket, and we told him that we have not because we are traveling for treatment, and then he asked us to wait for 2 minutes, After we wait for a long time he just run away, And after we asked the lady she said ok no need now for return tickets and she gave us the accsess to the gate.

It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Cons: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Cons: "Business class was pretty empty but again I was not allowed to change my seat selection online. Pathetic check-in."

Cons: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"
Pros: "Ground staff at Manchester very helpful"
Cons: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

I’m not one to complain about airline food but the “meal” served was execrable, possibly the worst in 65 years of flying. And no alcohol on an international flight was niggardly in my estimation.. The flight from Penang to KL they had the cheek to serve a tiny cup of fake orange juice. I will avoid Malaysian in the future."

Sadly Cathay and Malaysia air (which was the airline Cathay used for the return leg of this trip refused to help and put me on an earlier flight forcing me to stay an extra 6 hrs at the airport while being sick."

Fortunately, he was able to hold the plane and I made it. My baggage didn't though - and was only delivered to the hotel at midnight after a convoluted process claiming it at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Not really good enough given we paid extra in order to be able to travel together. Pick up your game MAS - 2 planes out of the sky and you won't regain customers like this!"

Cons: "The luggage was found opened, a belonging was tied outside of the luggage. When I tidy up the luggage, I found that my toiletry pouch went missing. MH609 was delayed from 2305 till 0030, all passengers board the flight and we were told to alight again due to technical faulty. Switch to another flight and delayed till 0230. By the time we arrived in Singapore, it is almost 0340. Collected the luggages, clear custom and arrived home is almost 0500. There was absolutely no refreshment provided in between, and have to switch between gates which are far apart."

Cons: "The 2 male flight attendants who served our rows did not smile once. Very unfriendly and seemed like they just wanted to do the minimum. We were also extremely unhappy that during check in was advised that our seats were not allocated together when we booked the tickets together and are also Enrich frequent flyer members. We had to demand to speak to a manager for them to change our seats."
Pros: "I like the interior of the plane and the comfortable seats. I also appreciate the crew's warmth and efficiency. It was a very short flight hence I truly appreciate the snack and drinks provided and especially the fabulous ice cream treat on the return flight. I would certainly consider taking MAS again in future (this was my first MAS flight), despite the one glitch (please see what I didnt like) if the price is right."
Cons: "I had only one large backpack to be checked in (due to the minimum liquid that can be brought) and it was left at the airport somehow by whoever who was handling it. Waited for more than an hour at KLIA for it and finally made a loss baggage report. The staff at the loss baggage counter was only helpful after finding out that I am not a Malaysian. Needless to say, my bag flew on SQ and was rushed to my hotel 5 and half hours after landing. I also did not receive a copy of the baggage delivery report."

Cons: "For a country known for its variety and quality of food, Malaysia Airlines is probably the worst place to experience it. Tasteless, poorly presented food and the most unappetising of choices. Crew were harried and rude, and the whole journey seems to last 16 hours instead of 8."

Pros: "Malaysia Airlines has had a bad run with some unfortunate incidents. But in fact the staff were great and the lounges we're nice. No issue flying them again. The A380 is a good flight."
