Cons: "I had to ask 3 times for an arrival card from the crew. Bread was dry. There should have been a breakfast served prior to landing, but no food service after 1 a.m. though flight arrived at 7:40 a.m. Timing of meals was not convenient for me at all. They wake you up at 1 a.m. for your main dinner. I would have preferred to sleep until 5 a.m. then have a good breakfast. The amenity kit in Business Class was substandard when compared to other airlines"

No airport that I've been to had poor internet service connection like this airport, yet it is supposed to be THE WORLD'S NUMBER ONE AIRLINE. We boarded at 11.30pm, last time we flew with them they gave us supper. Last night they gave us only water. We went to sleep hungry till the morning. Since when they started to operate like those cheap airlines that you have to pay for your food? And the night package did not have eye mask.... how could we sleep... ? Singapore airline could learn from Qtar. Very very disappointed."

The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

My wife and I both took note that the flight attendants were "First Class" with emphasis on class. Exceptionally well groomed, but also conveyed genuine concern and helpfulness and at the same time, real workers, energetic and perky. We are bragging to all our friends about the uplifting cultural demeanor of Singapore Airlines. They should all get a pay raise. This meant a very quick transfer to the London flight and no helpful assistance from cabin crew even though I asked for assistance, I had to hail a buggy down at the airport otherwise we would not have made it to our flight as I would not have been able to walk that far in the time available. If the flight had landed on time then there would not have been a problem."

May have been ok if I hadn't just run from a late arriving connection to make this leg of my flight and I was so thirsty!! Naturally they were out of what would have liked for my meal. However the worst part is that Mt luggage didn't make it to Heathrow with my flight and the service in trying to get my bags back has been shocking. Considering I was told my bags would be arriving in London 2 hours later I still do not have my bage in my possession- a day and a half later. And trying to get to talk to someone to help. This has been so frustrating and disappointing."

Thai Airways Please stop serving Liquor for God's sake , especially for folks travelling from India (Only this route) or charge $100 THB for a drink, this would stop those free riders from messing up other tourists happy vacation."

So I moved, to be removed by Sarah (stewardess) and put back in Tow 75. Then she put two of her friends in Row 50. When I walked up later to get my bag, there was still an empty Row 50 seat, but her friiends’ purses were in the seat, and they reluctantly removed the items when I insisted to sit there. Sarah should have left me in Row 50 and not made me move back to 75."
Pros: "The Qantas lounge in Singapore is very nice. Nothing special relative to some others like Cathay, but lots of showers and good food are the key for a stopover, and the Qantas Lounge has that. The meal options are better out of Singapore than coming in to Singapore, The "order ahead" breakfast concept, where you place your order for breakfast when you board has it pros and cons. The personal service is nice, but one needs to know almost 12 hours ahead of time what they feel like eating. Overall a positive, but for me, it's hard for me to anticipate my appetite. It was my first A380 flight (together with the Sydney - Singapore leg), and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful."
Cons: "Mostly an issue with security, two separate very long lines. The lines are marked priority and economy, but those are not adhered to. The seats in business class are not very comfortable. I feel like I had more comfortable seats 15 years ago on BA, and the world has come a long way since then. The planned upgrades are sorely needed."

My last United flight wasn’t even close to being comparable. In fact, I dreaded the thought of the long flight but Qantas has changed my view and now I have NO reservations when contemplating future visits."

He would’ve received a meal specifically designed for him. Best way to order next time in order to get the pre-ordered dinner/lunch and then the lacto ova for the breakfast?"

Fruit was fabulous and fresh - there were none left when I requested mine, but the flight attendant said there may be some left from other servers. I think it's interesting that as I typed this, as soon as I typed justfly.com or kayak.com, a window popped up encouraging me to write my comment in feedback, not here, yet when I wrote kiwi.com or priceline.com, nothing popped up. This just confirms that there are many people out there that believe they were deceived by these two companies and it's unfortunate that Qantas is looking just as guilty of cheating people out of their hard EARNED money."

On JL, you have a bit of a barrier between you and the person in the next seat. On Qantas, you very much do not. While this is probably more just bad luck than anything else, the boarding experience was nightmarish with swarms of people blocking every passage."

I slept for most of the flight with the help of some melatonin. The entertainment selection was good. The service was good. I would happily fly Qantas again on my next Australian adventure."

I am surprised why Qantas is rated #9 among best airlines for 2016. I will try to avoid Qantas in the gorier."

The flight got to London with a delay of 2 hours 20 min, because they made us wait 2 hours 20 min more than planned in Dubai, where incidentally all the other Emirates flights had no delay, only our Qantas one. This made me lose my next flight (to Luxembourg) and have to pay for a new flight and stay that night in London. Since I had booked them separately, no one helped or offered any compensation."

Legroom was cramped -- As a 6'2" (188 cm) man, I always have request aisle seating but was given a middle row seat. These should be reserved for shorter passengers only who do not require many ups and downs from their seats during the flight. No one should have to pay to choose a seat ahead of time! Except Qantas, I've never seen an airline charge to choose a regular, non-premium seat. That is ridiculous to charge $30, especially when the airfare was over $1300."

And in all honesty who reads all of that these days. The ground crew were nice enough to take me to the airlines office at the airport and figure out a solution. It took an hour and a half to sort it out and get a verification from headquarters office in Srilanka."

We were corralled and moved and waited hours while they ran around doing nothing."
