Pros: Crew was fun!
Cons: The landing was kinda rough. Too many babies on board.
Pros: The grew was great and did their best.
Cons: There were multiple time changes starting earlier in the morning and it changed about 10 times due to the weather. Was just kind of confusing when it kept going back and forth.
Pros: We landed safely and on time. That's all I expect, you did that well.
Pros: Loved that you guys do the early bird checkin where we get to pick our seats
Cons: My fiancé was in the middle seat and was uncomfortable the entire time due to the seating areas to be so small. Our flight to LV was great, the coming back was just crammed.
Pros: No issue boarding
Cons: Doubts on clean and covid cleaning protocols, when the plane still have passangers onboard
Pros: The flight attendants were nice
Cons: Social distancing is a thing of the past.
Pros: First time on southwest and never again. Hate the boarding hate the crew sarcasm and “wear your mask” every other minute. Just not enjoyable.
Cons: Be on time. Be honest about the delay. Get out luggage out in a timely manner!! B
Cons: The flight was delayed for more than one hour that’s the length of the whole travel
Cons: Crew doesn’t have fun anymore.
Pros: Big delay. Really rough landing and flight.
Elderly couple took exit row even though they clearly couldn’t assist. Need more discretion from flight crew to guide this
Cons: Big delay. Really rough landing and flight. Elderly couple took exit row even though they clearly couldn’t assist. Need more discretion from flight crew to guide this
Pros: Less people, row to myself
Cons: seats could use a feet hammock
Pros: Timely flight
Cons: Lead attendant’s delivery wasn’t friendly at all
Pros: Delparted on time
Cons: Scheduled employees to be at ticket counter early enough to accommodate passengers needing to check luggage.
Pros: Perfect flight, some turbulence which the pilot forewarned the passengers. Superb landing!
Pros: FREE Checked Bags....2 of them, really You guys are great. Also, soft drinks still included, thank you.
Cons: The flight was a little too warm both on the way out to Denver and the way back. The wifi kicked off a couple of times
Cons: Retrieving bags was slower than normal.
Pros: Being able to watch the NCAA game live, when it worked.
Cons: TV was spotty for too much of the game. More importantly, too many people, no social distancing. It feels like Southwest doesn't care at all. I felt unsafe.
Cons: Too many people, no social distancing. I felt unsafe.
Pros: I love that southwest still keeps iMessage free for Apple users. Helps me when I have anxiety when there is turbulence, I can easily text my husband. The entertainment is still great.
Cons: Everything was great, I love that they are on track to opening more options with drinks!
Cons: Flight left 1/2 hr late...but arrived on time.
Pros: Great crew. Stinky passengers
Cons: Maybe some air freshener. Could smell the farts even through my mask
Pros: Crew were funny and accomodating to my family traveling with a small baby.
Cons: The Southwest desks were understaffed. Southwest requires an in person check-in for lap infants, which made us wait in line for 80mins with a fussy baby. Then the gates were understaffed and we had to wait for gatecheck tags at another gate and almost missed our boarding time.
Pros: The crew was exceptional.
Pros: Very friendly crew
Pros: Flight completely full. No food except snack crackers. Only 4 beverages, coke, diet coke, seven up and water.
Cons: COVID survey at gate as we were called for boarding by group required us to be pulled out of "A" group to fill out survey that was done one person at a time on electronic tablet that we were last to be allowed to board aircraft. This could easily been done while everyone was waiting for their flight.
Pros: Nice flight without any problems. Friendly crew.
Cons: Nothing to improve
Pros: Crew was great, smooth easy flight
Cons: Seat was a little crammed and the boarding process was a zoo and not taking account Covid protocols
Cons: The plane was so hot! People would be much better at keeping their mask on, which we were reminded about 100 times, if the plane wasn’t 80 degrees!
My favorite... keep your social distancing while departing the plane, after we were seated like sardines for hours! Such a joke! I’ll stick with Delta, thansk!
Pros: Everything was on time
Cons: The new SLC airport is terrible. Having to walk 15 - 20 minutes to or from your gate, especially if you have a bad knee or hip is ridiculous. It shows very poor planning and a huge waist of taxpayer resources.
Pros: easy process
Cons: better snacks
Pros: Crew was helpful and friendly. The ticket counter gave us upgraded passes so we were in the first group to board.
Cons: The boarding process at the airport was disorganized and somewhat chaotic. We had to board a bus to the plane. Once on the tarmac there was no organization to ensure people board correctly. I wish we could have something to drink besides water. United Airlines gave us a can of soda and a bottle of water on the flight to Los Cabos. I would think Southwest could do the same.
Pros: Flight was on time, enjoyed open seating.
Cons: Would’ve preferred more drink options
Pros: the crew. the timeliness.
Pros: Crew was amazing. Super friendly.
Cons: Something other then water to drink...
Cons: Plane was dirty, messy floors. Makes me question other cleaning procedures. Plane only had 8 empty seats which during these times is insane.
Cons: Time to bring back regular beverage service.
Pros: The attendant who was calling the boarding groups at the gate. He was efficient, professional and pleasant.
Cons: Social distancing on the plan was non-existent. How is it that we have an airport terminal policy that requires social distancing and Southwest has a flight that is “completely full”?
Cons: Beverages other than just water (non-alcoholic).
Pros: Southwest is an excellent airline
Pros: easey going, so issues
Cons: letting us take off our dumb masks
Cons: Flight attendants talked too much
Cons: Informing the people that the flight was full and Covid-19 measures was not in effect.
Cons: Don’t load a full plane only to make everyone wait for 17 connecting passengers. We sat on the plane for over an hour before leaving.
Cons: Flight was completely full, took forever to leave the origin, and arrived more than 1 hour late!
Cons: Wi f i
Cons: Not making middle seats available
Pros: The easiest airline to fly with...
Cons: Some place to charge the phone on the plane . Snacks are not the best.
Pros: Southwest flight crews are always fun and helpful.
Cons: The first leg of our flight was packed - not one empty seat. Understandable in normal times but too close for comfort during COVID. We were offered to rebook, but we needed to travel on that day and there were no other flights available. The second leg of the flight was less crowded. Most middle seats were open.
Cons: Baggage claim
Cons: Bad turbulence
Pros: Flight was smooth, right on time and I didn’t have to to wait for my luggage. It was already coming out on the conveyor by the time I got there.
Pros: had a row to myself
Cons: I greeted the staff as I got on, I wasn't greeted before that though. On top of this we boarded late and then we didn't even make it to San Fran, instead we got to Oak. Now the weather Southwest can't control, but they should have given us payment to be able to make it to our accommodations. I don't have money just lying around to be left at a place I wasn't expecting to be left at and then pay a taxi to get across the bay to my house.
Pros: The condensed boarding in increments of 10
Cons: The flight was completely full! We are in a pandemic. This alone makes me want to fly Delta for their consideration for people’s safety.
Cons: Tell passengers to air in the seats until their two is ready to exit. Don’t crowd in the aisles and try to get off the plan first of you are seated in the back
Marketing itself as a low-cost airline, Southwest Airlines operates predominantly domestic flights within the United States. The airline flies to 41 of the country’s 50 states. Flying to a further 10 countries, there is a focus on Caribbean destinations such as Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Aruba and The Bahamas.
All flights are scheduled using a point-to-point system, which is decentralized and relies loosely on the airline’s hubs. In comparison to the hub and spoke system commonly used by major airlines, Southwest Airlines reduces the likelihood of baggage loss and fuel consumption per passenger. With less connections and travel time, you can get to your destination faster.
Unlike most other American airlines, you are allowed 2 checked bags for free with every ticket purchased. Another customer benefit is that there is no change of flight fees, meaning you only need to pay the difference of the cost of the tickets. If you switch to a cheaper flight, a credit is provided for future use.
Videos of Southwest Airlines’ safety announcements have gone viral, with the cabin crew regularly mixing in tasteful humor. As they engage the passengers and build a warm atmosphere, make sure you take your headphones out and listen in. Specific seats are not allocated and customers are free to choose their own seat. Complimentary app messaging is provided so that passengers can use WhatsApp and iMessage during the flight.
The fleet is made up exclusively of Boeing aircraft and has used the 737 family series since 1971. A bold livery featuring a dark blue body and orange and red stripes has become the customary design.
