Iberia express economy seats are extremely uncomfortable and there’s no room especially with a backpack under the seat.
por el precio del billete en los vuelos de la mañana por lo menos podían poner un café
Everything was perfect. The landing was perfect. I love travel with Iberia
I slept all the trip
Once again, the seats I had purchased prior to departure were not given to us. Iberia Air took the money and did not give us the correct seats.
The seats I had purchased prior to departure were not given to us. My family and I did not sit next to each other and no one wanted to help out.
You did not ask about checking in. Iberia website is missing and has misnamed key fields in the online form to check in. For example there was a field missing for some browsers to input a street address, so it just kept kicking back out form and not allowing us to check in. Also the section named “destination address” was actually requiring “home address” which caused problems completing and submitting the form. Lastly, nowhere did it indicate when we booked the flight that we would have to pay for seats. To pay $1300 US per person for a non-direct fight JFK to CMN, and then have to pay for seats at the last minute, is not acceptable. Kayak / Chatdeal tried to help with all of this but end of day we’re powerless and we have to check into flights ourselves. We also missed connection and did not get friendly assistance to rebook and get us to our destination. I will not be flying Iberia again.
The flights were perfectly comfortable. Compared with business class on other airlines we have flown this past year, the service, food, and entertainment options were lacking.
Service was incredible. Such great crew. Economy seating is too small for a normal person especially a 9 hour flight. I was immediately uncomfortable once I sat down. Food was terrible but that was expected!
No drinks or entertainment in the 2 hour flight. Crew was barely understandable with information. No Iberia office or representative in Marrakech so has very hard time with lost baggage.
Crew was inattentive after meal and baggage did not make the connecting flight. No information provided for delay and no information on connecting flight
Food= N/A Okay staff-couldn’t print the next leg’s boarding pass due to “different” systems?
Although the flight was late as we missed pud connection, the flight attendants were excellent and kind. Made it worth our trip! Hda
In all 4 flights I had to take to get to my destination and back, I had paid for front seats. I had a confirmation for all of them. NONE were granted. I had to send a claim four times (one for each flight) to get my money back. I can’t trust this airline.
Because we’d booked through Expedia, and flew BA but managed by Iberia the whole experience was a complete nightmare. No one knew what we were supposed to do, emails came from different companies with conflicting information, hours spent on the phone trying to sort it out, couldn’t check in online so had to queue for ages. If companies are taking over each other they need to talk to each other and make their processes work in a more joined up way.
Old club Traveller seats are uncomfortable. Crew is fantastic and makes up for outdated seats with no privacy and confort. Its a basically an economy plus seat NOT worth paying multiples
It was a very good travel experience. Iberia handled everything in a top way. Communication during the flight was especially good. We would travel with Iberia again.
The flight was 2 hours behind schedule on take-off but the captain managed to catch up a bit during the flight
We booked a flight that said it was Iberia, operated by Iberia. However, Iberia refused to help us when we called to try to ensure we’d have seats together since we were flying with two small children. They claimed they couldn’t see our seats in the system and when we pushed for them to try harder to help us, they hung up on us. The day or two before the flight, we got an email from Level saying the flight was with them and that our tickets didn’t include food or drinks, even though it was an international flight. This is not something we knew when booking, as it wasn’t presented this way on kayak. Once on board, it turned out we had to pay for every small item - headphones, blankets, and anything other than water. Check in at the airport was a nightmare. They had only a few stations open, there was no option to do it yourself like many other airlines. They couldn’t figure out how to check a car seat without charging us and it delayed us greatly. The crew on board was very friendly, and obviously they don’t control the business model or prices. However, we had gate checked a stroller and upon landing in NY, we (and other families) were told they couldn’t find any strollers. In the end, all the gate checked items were released with the regular luggage. Fortunately one member of the crew helped us get through a fast lane in customs since we were carrying a small child. Overall, friendly crew on board, but not a good experience, otherwise.
Internet is expensive. Not much choices on Movies. It wasn’t easy to purchase food on board.
Awful food, absolutely awful. Lazy crew.
The integration between Kayak, eDreams, Air Iberia, and Vueling is not cohesive. eDreams could not check me in ahead of time due to errors in their systems. I became concerned about a nightmare check-in process at the airport. Everything about the flight, however, was a delight. Check-in was efficient, and Vueling had the shortest check-in lines in the airport. As Vueling is a discount airline, the cabin is spartan but reasonable. The true delight came when deboarding the plane. The flight crew instructed us to deplane by rows, roughly five at a time. Passengers in other rows had to stay seated, and the cabin crew told those who stood up in other rows to sit back down. This made deplaning faster and more pleasant than the free for all stampedes on other airlines that intimidate older or smaller passengers.
I did not know what to expect from Vueling as I had just heard of them when Air Iberia flight transferred this flight to Vueling. It's a small airport where you go out onto the tarmac. It's easy to get through. But there was no food or beverage service on the flight whatsoever.
The flight never happen, they overbooked the flight and they put me in another one 15 days later and I had to pay 250 dollars more, the worst experiencia of my Life, never will use kayak or iberia again
Couldn’t have been better.
Attendance to check in. They are so bad.
I like the food .However the bathrooms were very terrible mess up . I travel a lot but never saw such bad things in a bathroom
How much more can space between seats be shrinked? 250$ for a 3hr flight where I can barely move my legs.
Had my own entertainment but the service ran fine when I tried it
On board Iberia flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x45x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Iberia assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Iberia offers direct flights to 76 cities in 36 different countries. Madrid, Barcelona, and Bilbao are the most popular cities covered by Iberia.
Iberia concentrates most of its flight operations in Madrid.
KAYAK is a travel search engine, meaning that we continuously look across the web to find the best deals for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from all airlines, including Iberia.
Founded in 1927 and operating out of its hub in Madrid, Iberia is one of the oldest airlines in the world. It is the official national airline of Spain, featuring red and yellow stripes on the tail of the fleet. Low-cost carrier Iberia Express and domestic focused Air Nostrum are subsidiaries of the airline. In 2011 they partnered with British Airways to form the International Airlines Group, which has since added Aer Lingus and Vueling to the franchise.
Economy, Economy Premium and Business Class fares are offered on Iberia flights. Additional leg room of approximately 5 in is afforded by upgrading to Economy Premium, while the Business section provides a seat that reclines flat and is over 6 ft 6 in long. Additional features such as streamlined security processing, acoustic insulated headphones, cocktail tables and luxury magazines are also available to Business passengers.
Airbus is exclusively chosen as the preferred manufacturer. The Airbus A350-900 is one of the largest models in the fleet and is capable of carrying roughly 350 passengers. Many of the aircraft are named after influential Spanish figures including Salvador Dalí, Atoni Gaudí and Plácido Domingo. Iberia also serves as an aircraft maintenance company, helping with plane upkeep for a number of airlines, such as Qatar Airways.
