the flight left 45 minutes late, food was bad
Food was horrible and entertainment center had to be reset 5 times.

I was transferred to Guangzhou first without prior notice.

When checking in in Shenyang, the China southern airline rep kept asking me about my expired passport, even after I showed them the new passport I was holding is to replace the expired one (the expired passport number is showing on the 3rd page of the new passport). Rep says the ticket is linked to the expired passport. I don't know how this happened as I waited until I got my new passport in NY to book the trip on justfly.com, and no one asked about it when I travelled to China.

Good choice of entertainment. Food is better than most of the airlines.
Boarding experience is horrible. Every time you need to board a bus to get to the terminal in AbuDhabi. Why can't they get more gates for better boarding. Why should we go through another security check as soon as you arrive in AbuDhabi ? I have never seen this any other airport.
I wasn't able to take the flight for the reasons mentioned above.
Flight on time.
1. Seat changes are done last minute despite booking the seats online with out informing us. I felt that there was no point securing online seating early. Difficult to adjust seats in the last minute. I was separated from my family. Given wrong information about seats. Had to real work with staff to finally get seats adjusted. Not very easy to work staff. Understanding of English is not that good. 2.Had problems checking the luggage all through despite connection was through star alliance. 3.Had to wait in airport in transit to get boarding passes. Did not understand why it was despite having booked seats early. 4.Seats provided were not good. 5.Also head phones didn't work. I told staff three times and still no response. Finally gave up i had booked because ratings were good. But service was not even close to expectations. Dissapointed.
The ground staff at Dallas were extremely rude. Made an old woman cry. Did not use common sense to check in people. They were weighing even obvious very small back packs that were obviously less than 3 lbs. talked to people in a rude manner and were not very helpful. I flew more 15 times in the last years. By far the worst experience. Flew emirates. Delta. Klm France airways. British airways. Even kenya airways. American and united. By far the worst experience. Service service
