The crew is very friendly and pay attention to details. The layover of < 2 hours is perfect.

Checking in to boarding was smooth and quick. The flight was on time and the crew was superb, cheerful, and some of the best.
1) the flight was not full which was a big plus 2) the universal charging at the seat, I didn't need a converter.
1) The sinks in 4 bathrooms were broken. People were still using the bathrooms although there was no sink. So people were not washing their hands which is unsanitary. 2) the food was not very good, nor the timing of it. Also sandwiches in plastic wrapping were distributed during sleeping hours and that was very disruptive. 3) the plane was older. 4) the flight was very expensive so I expected 5 star features and comfort, but it was only a 3 star for me.
Given the choice I would hands down pick Finnair over a US based carrier the Europeans provide bigger seats and better service... Little things like hot towels, extra wine and chocolate after meals was truly appreciated...
Im an amateur traveler and I could have used a little more info at the gate and about getting to my connection I had no idea where it was and that you had to go through a passport line to catch the connection. Came close to missing my connection...
Security service in Helsinki is quite unprofessional. It does not understand EU Security Rules for liquids at airports. Where do they find such guys?
Was great on the way to Helsinki and extremely poor on the return trip.
Seat pitch was horrible! Almost as bad as United and American. Very uncomfortable!
