Easy flight to CR and back, scheduled well to avoid immigration lines and get the most for your trip. Crew was kind and professional. Loved also having a female Captain, total girl power.

The relentless emails about seating upgrades, advave boarding upgrades, food options, and WiFi options are overwhelming and annoying, but I accept that in connection with Spirit’s low fares.

Ultra cheap no frills flight. Didn’t ask for anything. Didn’t receive anything. Didn’t spend a dime on anything I didn’t want or use. Would definitely fly again.
I like that everyone was so helpful in anyway possible, easy check in, what could have been better is the price for baggage too high. $237.00 for 3 bags. Wow 😳👿 plus airfare 🤦🏾♀️.

Spirit Airlines employers at the NYC La Guardia Airport are liers. The 2nd of June 2022 at the evening my flight to Miami was delayed and delayed and delayed to finally been cancelled and the crew didn't stop lying. The first time I asked the reason of the delay they told me it's because of a medical emergency in the plane, which would have been understandable, then they said it's because of the weather, understandable too. But each time different customers asked they had different versions and were super rude to us. When they finally announced that the flight was cancelled I was very worried because I'm a young foreigner woman alone in the airport at 11pm and had no plan so I asked them for solutions and they were rude and emotionless af. As I had to be in Miami they put me in the next flight which was the neeeext day and was not even going to Miami but to Forth Lauderdale. I accepeted and I also asked for a compensation for the prejudice because then I had to find a solution to stay 24 hours more in new York (housing, food + uber for the next day) and they didn't take the thing seriously at all. I wouldn't recommand this company and the crew is just ewww not nice.

Horrible change fee policy. No flight credit. Couldn’t fly due to illness and change fee was just $10 less than the ticket cost.
The crew was extremely helpful in finding my husband another seat, since he was using a cane on this trip and we had purchased exit seats due to him needing the extra leg room to extend his leg. The flight attendant was able to move another passenger so that my husband actual had a row by himself in which he could turn sideways and put his leg up if he needed to extend it. The only complaint would be the self-checking of baggage at McCarran. We and we noticed a couple of other groups, had some difficulty getting the scale to work. A couple service reps had to assist us all. One of the issues was that you had to stand a certain distance from the luggage scale/conveyor in order for it to work properly. Maybe tape outlining the area to stand would help? The other problem was that it scanned our IDs, but kept asking for us to input info; the rep overrode this so that our luggage would process.
This airline nickle and dimes you to the point it’s shameful, on top of that they changed my departing and returning flights with 1 days notice. Avoid them at all costs
They should give at least water. Prices are not that cheaper than other airlines when adding/ paying for carry-Ons, checked bags, etc.

What a horrible airline. No water. No WiFi. None of the seats recline. No power outlets. Extra fees for EVERYTHING. Never again.
