All other few flights with AirAsia were bad as well. We were refused to get water as a complimentary during a log flight from HK to Manila. Every flight was always delayed up to ~1 h."

Cons: "I was charged $94 canadian to check one bag that weighed in at 10kg. I honestly thought the man at the desk was joking. After that he sneered at me and suggested that if I had not booked through Kayak and instead through the airline, that it would be a little cheaper. He then pushed me to hand over my credit card so he could charge me. From then on all I have to say is that the planes have no entertainment, no leg room (they are known for the insanely tight seats) and no food. Not even a drop of water was offered unless you pay on board. Interesting...I wonder what they do then with all of the money they took to accept my one bag (it was seriously 10k, I'm a small girl travelling alone there was nothing large about it). All that to say, I wish I could get some money back, I would never have paid so much to check a bag if I had the opportunity to cancel the flight all together. I'm beyond unhappy with my experience."

Was 45 minutes late leaving for a 45 minute flight. Was hurry up and wait for what? We just sat their at the terminal

The crew was nice and helpful. Sits are a little bit too small for high people (there is no place for knees and you have to sit in a uncomfortable position).

They tried to charge me $850 US. For 1 extra bag. After complaint that amount is crazy. They brought the manager over who then told me to bring him $450 in cash and they would accept it Big Scam. After going to the bank machine in the airport and getting the money. The manger put the money in his pocket and took my bag I couldn’t do much because i was about to miss my flight STAY AWAY. From this airline They have some inside scam going on with their employees STAY AWAY. Don’t become a victim like I did

I was moved to a row of empty seats and it made my flight very comfortable. Unfortunately I got sick on the flight but the attention received from everyone was first class and may very well have saved my life. Thank you Scoot.

I discovered this by checking myself - chartered a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 and then reduced then quality of every Business Class service (no entertainment system videos or music, no alcohol or soft drinks - only water, only Economy class food. There was no apology from Scoot (who are a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) and none from Singapore Airlines. There was no suggestion of any refunds or other compensation. Truly a disgrace. I will never fly on either Singapore Airlines or Scoot airline again. I am seeking further compensation through Australian Fair Trading and through Class Action Lawyers (as this impacted every passenger on this flight, not just Business Class)"

i book the extra luggage through the site. but the next day i gat the mail that can not book and it was refused. and once i go to airport counter and did not even take the luggage to airport because it was refused. but the airport the airline charged me hkd 240 and then only issue the boarding pass. and they said it is in their system. point is it is miss communications between your and the airline. but you forcefully charge the money to me. i appreciate to check the issue and do the necessary refund.

Shameless greed and extortion once they have your trapped. It gets worse. Due family reasons I needed to fly home a couple days early, having every reason to believe my ticket was flexible. Nowhere did it say otherwise, nor did the booking site warn me. But rudely I was told too bad, zero flexibility. ZERO! They had empty seats on many suitable flights, just wanted to steal my return ticket, simple. Theft. Extortion. The worst imaginable. I went ahead and bought a 2nd return ticket with Philippines Airlines (far far superior airline). My Cebu Pacific seat was zero refund and was sold to someone else I guess. Too bad for Stupid Mr Customer (me) who mistakenly flies Cebu Pacific! NEVER EVER FLY CEBU PACIFIC! This 71-year-old 110-country travel veteran has warned you factually. An utterly disgusting company whose staff indifferently spits in the face of customers, the rudeness is delivered in a could-not-care-less tone followed by a hang up the phone after saying "No way, it's impossible speak to the travel agent for help. good-bye. Cebu Pacific (MNL) required our umbrella to be checked-in without incurring additional expense since it does not make sense to charge us because the umbrella price is way less than the shipping cost. However, Cebu Pacific (SGN) Counter Supervisor was rigid and unprofessional; she wouldn’t listen to reasons and logic. She said that this is SGN and not MNL and therefore, its totally different. She was correct because we were able to go home and security did not say anything about our umbrella. Basically, we do not have to check-in our umbrella in the first place. But the Supervisor was adamant and combative regarding our umbrella. We told her we’ll just throw it in the trash can instead of shipping it."

After finally boarding the plane it was dirty. Tray table wad really sticky and there was a used cup in my seat I had to remove before sitting. Also my seat did not recline so I was very uncomfortable with small amount of leg room. The flight was supposed to land in Hong Kong at 7:15 by the time we got to hotel it was 1:30am. It's a shame I had to pay for the whole night at the Hotel."

Pros: "The bad started at the ticket counter where I received a $135 baggage fee. There website is specifically constructed to hide baggage allowances. The flight was approximately two hours later commuting due to "late turns on previous sectors." Updates were not provided so you had to sit for hours in the gate listening to constant gate calls for other flights. There is essentially no restaurants on the concourse. Inflight meals were all pay as you go. I was not asked if I wanted a meek, I guess because I wasn't Filipino. Filipinos around me were offered meals. Never again!"

Airport lost and found sends me to Air Asia,........... after about 10 times of doing that I finally got an Air Asia rep on the phone to take me seriously. But she didn't see too concerned or interested in finding my phone for me. I told her to check the plane, and contact me if they found it or not....... NO reply! So I called back the day after, and again, got the run around...... Now, this second assistant I told the same thing. No communications or customer care with this airline. I worked for the airlines for 14 years, and I could check a plane for a cell phone in about 10 minutes, and get back to you... Air Asia that's like pulling hens teeth!"

Cons: "I've taken AirAsia twice on my travels in the Philippines, one of the times, the flight was very very delayed.The other, they changed the flight time 2 hours AHEAD of schedule and made that flight the last flight out for a day. Called the customer service hotline and they have terrible customer service, did not really come up with any solutions and I was placed on hold numerous times for a very long time. I ended up having to wait until the next day to get on a flight, which made me lose a day at my other destination."
