Location close to Muni and decent value for the money. Internet connection and speed could have been better and faster. Too many disconnection and slow at times. It will be nice to have dedicated area for free breakfast, instead of to go and have it in your own room.
Location Friendly staff Only one elevator Limited parking space
Good location Staff was rude. They made my wife cry.
Great place! Location, value and friendly! Will be back!
The hotel accommodated free guest parking for every guest. Compared to other hotels the price was lower,. San Francisco is expensive though. Many guests smoking in front of their rooms. One person even had laundry hanging by their door.
..... 1. Thin walls, could hear neighboring rooms conversations clearly. 2. cockroach in bathroom. 3. when my travelling partner tried to return to the room after visiting with friends the key card did not work. I was not there but the friend walked him to the hotel. This was 9 hours after checking in. The attendant was rude and refused to rekey the card without an argument then a scolding after. Ridiculous.
Quick cab to union square, had cute diners and deli's right across the street. Great hotel if you're looking for something affordable but clean and near the heart of the city. We were only there one night and barely in the room so we weren't looking for luxury. Breakfast was just a few items, but didn't affect us at all.
Location Everything else. Possibly the worst motel i have ever stayed at.
Front office staff very friendly. Rooms were dated and it was under construction. Had to be moved to a second room because of a leak and the room not being cleaned yet.
Nice staff. Near public transportation and downtown. Safe district. Noisy road and room's thin walls.
good location very noisy
Convenient location near SF places of interest. Good value and very helpful staff. Rooms comfortable, with enough space to get organised. The continental breakfast was unusual for the British taste. Some of the rooms could be noisy, being close to a busy road but this is a subjective view.
I was allowed to check in early. Great value for the room. Located within walking distance to several bus stops. Good restaurants nearby. Glad it didn't have shared bathrooms either. No A/C. I had to open the windows to cool my room down, and then the traffic was too loud to enjoy watching television.
Great location. The hotel is right off the 30 bus line. Nice and friendly staff. Good small free breakfast. Great value for the money. Not the warmest blankets they had a few holes in them, but everything was clean and smelled nice.
convient to my conference at fort mason, reasonably priced, convient access to fisherman's wharf, comfortable rooms a little small
Only the location. They say that there is internet connection throughout the hotel, but in fact, you can use it only on the 2nd floor. If you are on 3 or 4th floor, you should go to the 2nd to be able to connect the internet. Also, unbelievably, they do not have parking..
The Marina Inn staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful. Our deluxe queen was spacious, clean and very pretty. The location is excellent- close to the water, many reasonably priced delicious restaurants, and boutique shopping. I highly recommend the Marina Inn The included breakfast was very basic. There was sandwich bread (next to a toaster), hard boiled eggs, yogurt, a few bananas and orange juice.
free internet noise on Lombarde street
The location is fairly good, nearby food and shops and 45 min walk to pier 39. The quality is bad. The bed was horrible, i was glad it was time to get up in the morning because the bed made my back hurt. My wife had the same. The shower made alot noise, same for all other showers which we heard in the morning. Our promised breakfast was nothing more then milk and pre-packaged muffins. We decided to go out for breakfast in the end. For $65 this was not good enough. I think most reviews here are based on the hotel years ago. However it clearly aged without maintenance.
The room was pretty nice overall. The bed was nice, and the area was pretty beautiful. a walking distance (for those who like to wonder around the city), to many cool places. When I got to the room, the carpet was a little wet, so I guess it might had a problem in a rainy day.
very good hotel, clean, open 24/24.it isn't very central but there are 2 buses lines across the street. very good continental breakfast with milk, thè, coffe, very good banana muffins and eggs. ther's only some noisy of traffic, but we are so exhausted for tour and we stay very ok!!!
The hotel manager was very helpful and very friendly throughout our stay.
close to the heart of the city. comfortable, the minimum needed. it's ok for a few nights. breakfast it's poor.
It is in a nice place where attractions are close and it is a nice place I did not like the coffee pot. It was dirty and it did not had the pot, but I don't drink coffee so I feel sorry for those who like coffee.
The only thing that was good about our stay, was that it was in a good location, as far as getting to every place we wanted to go.
The place has a great location, near most places we wanted to visit. The room was and smelled clean and beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night in San Francisco, we got there at 10pm and checked out around 10am next morning. Shower not working properly, we had to work around it to make it work. Overall bathroom didn't looked as clean as the rest of the room. Our room was very close to the road so it was very noisy...
cooperative staff,,clean confortable rooms
good selection of breakfast items
Less-than-desirable location/neighborhood, but overall a good, budget room.
Good location, frendley staff.
The outside elevator, I would of never made it up the exterior exposted stair due to the fact that I'm afraid of hights. The stairs and walkway to the room was on the exterior of the building. The room smelled.
I didn't like the fact that during our stay we found bed bugs in both of the beds in our room. The staff also seemed irritated when we asked for help with the heating system.
Nothing at all, it was awful The whole floor has to share one bathroom it was disgusting and old. Isn't even in a good part of San Fransisco, and a loud nasty bar was directly under the hotel. If you're looking for a cheap stay I'd drive a little further out of the city and get a decent hotel for the same price.
The Utah in is very simple in what you get. In what you get, they do a very good job. The location isn't the best. Probably not appropriate for families and would suit single travelers best.
The staff are great price was very good facility and the rooms are clean Underneath this place is a saloon that has multiple live performances per night and practices during the day (every day of the week). It is worth noting that the staff will do their best to move you to a better room Cleaning staff decided not to empty my trash for 4 days shared Bathroom and and shower
Attractive front, quiet. Uncomfortable beds, gum on wall directly next to the bed. Awkward bathroom arrangement.
Nothing The location. The staff. The shared bathroom. I couldn't shower for 3 days because every time I went to go use the shower, someone was using it or there was standing water left in the tub from the last person using it. It was disgusting.
