Kekurangan: The location of this hotel was not great. Pretty far away from the train station. Nothing in the immediate area. Wouldn’t stay in this location again.

Kekurangan: Nothing expected small room size but configured for comfort as possible. Did wish there was a blind for bathroom although glass is shaded could still see body shadow thus did not stand to shower

Kebaikan: As a first timers to Japan we were unsure of where to stay! Although it’s located in the red light district The Grandbell Hotel felt enough away from the hustle and bustle of the neon lights and busy streets of Shinjuku yet it very, very central to everything we needed. Rooftop bar has an incredible view of the surrounding city, staff were exceptional even gave us a beautiful little gift as we were celebrating our anniversary. We booked an economy standard room and yes it was small but it felt really cosy, is it Tokyo after all. Would highly recommend this hotel for anything wanting something central with plenty of atmosphere.

Kekurangan: The interior of my room was quite old. The desk varnish was gone and the room was pretty smelly.

Kebaikan: The location of this hotels is perfect, it is in the middle of everything in Shinjuku. While it is thriving, lively area outside, the rooms are quiet on the inside. The rooms come with blackout curtains to keep out the bright light. It is a 5 minute walk to Shinjuku station. there is a 7 Eleven conveniently located on the ground floor. You can easily walk to many department stores, Omoide Yokocho, Golden Gai, Shinjuku Gyoen, the Tolkyo Met. Gov't Building and more. The bathrooms are awesome and the twin rooms are quite spacious.

Kekurangan: We accidentally arrived during the Coronavirus outbreak, the trip had been planned for months. The hotel had to change some of their services, specifically the breakfast, but there was nothing they could do for that. You can't offer a buffet during a pandemic. They did everything they could to make the guests safe while still offering a world class level of service and kindness.

Kebaikan: Will definitely stay at this great hotel in the thick of all the bars, restaurants and malls. 10/10 for location, quality and price.

Kekurangan: Late at night the area is a little seedy with lots of people out drinking and partying. But if you’re smart you can ignore it.

Kebaikan: GREAT location, kindest and helpful staff in the lobby and at restaurants! Assisted with daily itineraries and suggestions on how to navigate the city and different areas!

Kekurangan: Room was small and don’t have dressers but you don’t spend enough time in the room to notice, just asked for extra hangers organized on the couch! The shower and restroom were separate (in our room at least) and I loved this! Shower also had the best water pressure, very clean!!

Kebaikan: Very good location in the center of Shinjuku, about 10 minutes away from the train station and taxi service outside. Had an ATM and 7-11 attached to it. All the amenities a person could need, toothbrush, hair brush l, razor shaving cream, free bath salts for everyday I stayed. Shampoo conditioner and body wash smelled great. Shower and bath were awesome! 1rst floor breakfast was the way to go, 8th floor cafe was nice but had less variety than the other. Staff knew English, and the concierge service was great for booking and easy airport limousine back to HND airport. Very close to robot resturant and bars that are open 24 hours.

Kebaikan: Great Locations. Lots going on in he area: shopping, restaurants. Room was a good size compared to most we've seen in Japan. Walk to subway makes it convenient to get to other parts of town.

Kekurangan: A lot of young people gather in the area at evening/night and make a mess on the street as there are no public garbage cans for some reason. Reception is on the eight floor, not ground level.

Kebaikan: Staff very friendly and helpful

Kebaikan: We stayed at Cerulean for more than 10 visits to Tokyo. Cerulean staffs are fantastic, and always looked after us. Our home in Tokyo, highly recommended!

Kebaikan: staff was very nice and helpful. the room was clean. not the best or most modern but it's the basics. nice renovated bathrooms. high floors. AIRPORT SHUTTLE IS AMAZING!

Kekurangan: the bedside tables are a bit ghetto. otherwise everything was good.

Kebaikan: Room price was reasonable, however, breakfast was 33k yen ($30) and $20 for the gym. Although expensive, the breakfast bar is excellent - better than most I've had here in the states. The bar at the top floor was cool with good ambience. Most of the staff speaks some English and are very helpful.

Kekurangan: Do not recommend the expensive Japanese restaurant in the hotel. Shrimp tempura did not taste fresh and other dish not worth the cost.

Kebaikan: Our room was well appointed and everything worked well. No marks or scratches to show wear and tear. The in room sound system was great and the complimentary unlimited data smartphone was extremely useful.

Kekurangan: While the Executive Lounge was a nice haven to relax in and very classy, the food selection should be changed more regularly. There were no changes in the food/drink offerings across our entire five day stay.

Kekurangan: Service was "hit and miss", particularly in the lounge. The price was quite high for average quality rooms.

Kebaikan: The deluxe city view room was phenomenal for a country boy like me. Room cleaning and bed making was excellent, left my extra spending money in the room and never missed a penny. Everyone was so very polite in the hotel, the view from the bar on the top floor is also not to be missed. Prices for drinks, etc. are as to be expected for this hotel, but don't miss breakfast! As American as you could want, and make sure you ask the guy with the chef hat on to make your eggs. Omelet, over easy, whatever, they will be done to perfection and delivered to your table. I loved my stay at this hotel, it was hard to come back to reality in the US.

Kebaikan: After arriving in Tokyo following a long flight it was great to be staying somewhere that was an easy distance from the airport. On arrival staff were friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. The bed was super comfortable and the view from our 29th floor room was pretty spectacular. The hotel provided us a great base for our 4 days in Tokyo and the top floor bar was a lovely place to end the day. The breakfast was nothing spectacular but set us up for the day and it was also possible to use the voucher for lunch, which was a nice option.

Kebaikan: Close to Shinjuku station. Fun restaurants nearby.

Kekurangan: Waited on average 10 minutes for elevators, which were full and stopped almost every floor. No seating in lobby. Restaurants in hotel very overpriced. Would not stay there agin.

Kebaikan: Great location

Kebaikan: The only good thing about Keio Plaza Hotel that they have a shuttle bus line direct to Disney Resort, but need reservation 1 month earlier before the date.

Kekurangan: The front desk for check-in and check-out really really really not friendly (especially to foreigner), no smile at all and very bad in english. Very old hotel, we've paid for the premier room (recently furbished they said) but still looks old, they're only put more lighting inside the room and LED TV. Better stay at International Brand Hotel.

Kekurangan: The room and the hotel are not so modern

Kebaikan: Great location near the Shinjuku train station. Service was excellent (although perhaps average for Japan). Pillows not so comfortable - would have liked a selection of hard/soft (therefore the OK rating on comfort). Room A/C worked very well (I like to sleep in a cold room). Great view of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo government buildings. I prefer the Hyatt Regency Shinjuku when the cost is reasonable but this time it was considerably higher. Have stayed at Keio plaza about 5 times and at Hyatt about 20 times.

Kebaikan: There was shuttle bus to airport directly. That was really convenient for us.

Kekurangan: Rooms very outdated, very pretentious staff, everything that has to do with this hotel is ridiculously overpriced! We to check out one hour later than planned after a 6 night stay and they asked us to pay a fee... very disappointing

Kebaikan: This is a modern high-rise hotel building in a major district in Tokyo. There are multiple dining options of various cusine types available mostly on the 2nd floor - which, somewhat perversely, is the bottom fllor, below the lobby floor. The rooms are spacious, well appointed with ample facilities.

Kekurangan: Nothing to speak of

Kebaikan: the proximity to shopping, restaurants and transport. Also liked the view from room - comfort of room - range of restaurants in hotel was great - service was friendly and prompt - felt very welcomed - especially as our knowledge of the language was limited - liked the ambience - international

Kebaikan: We booked the room with the skytree view after checking the weather forecast and it’s totally worth the price! Great views, great for time lapse videos! Room is very clean, beds and pillows are comfortable. Staffs are all very polite and welcoming whenever you pass by the front desk. It may seem far on the JR maps, but if you take the subway Hanzomon purple line, it cuts through the JR stations and it reaches Shibuya in about 30 mins. Nearby there are 2 shopping Malls, next to Kinshicho station. There’s daiso, muji, Gu, Zoff etc. I could just do my shopping here and not squeeze with people in Shibuya or Shinjuku. I actually like this quiet neighbourhood a lot more.

Kekurangan: The room was slightly small, it was kind of tricky to open 2 luggages at the same time but we managed and it’s no issue to us at all.

Kebaikan: The politeness and readiness to assist of the whole staff from reception point to breakfast restaurant. The ultimate cleanliness. The most extensive choice of food and beverages at breakfast, including sections dedicated to foreign cuisines. The perfect location nearby metro and JR station.

Kekurangan: Proficiency in English which every staff member lacks significantly, however at the end of the day, we could understand and be understood one way or another. That is the fact you face all over Japan, whatever the reason.

Kebaikan: The location was really good. There is nearby shopping n food all within 5mins. Travelling was a breeze as kinschio is only 3 station away from tokyo station. Free shuttle to disneyland was also really helpful for us as it our first time to tokyo Disneyland with my 4 yr old son. Even can take their local bus to tokyo skytree, which was a good experience for us. Bed n pillow was really comfy..

Kekurangan: The small size of the room which is kinda of expected in Japan hotel. Customer officer aint really good in English. Only very basic English.

Kebaikan: All considering, we researched hotels in Tokyo extensively. The Tobu Levant answered all our requirements for our short stay.

Kekurangan: Rooms were smaller than expected, but this is well known fact in Japan. We chose and paid extra for the Skytree view. It was a beautiful view, but the hotel is close to the Skytree, you can see it easily from the street also. Perhaps this room is not really necessary not being in the room for long periods of time and when you are, you will be sleeping with the curtains drawn. Better to take pot luck.

Kebaikan: It’s location is very convenient. The staff members are very helpful and accommodating. They are generous with amenities and also offer a shuttle service to and from the airport. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

Kebaikan: This is our go to hotel in Tokyo. We've stayed here for 3 times already and everytime, the service is exceptional. Rooms are big and comfy. Breakfast is great and amazing. The location is very near kinshicho station which has access to most parts of tokyo. Its very near the sky tree ( 5mins by train). It is connected to a shopping mall (arcakit) that has groceries and everything you can think of. There are also convenient store and restos near it. Hotel provides free transpo to disney land ( to and from). Offers discount to sky tree. There is also an airport limo that directly stops in the hotel driveway. Staff is very helpful and would go out of their way to assist you. Shout out to Ms. Aira Kim for being so helpful during our 2nd and 3rd stay. Will definetely stay here agan foe our forth and so visits to tokyo.

Kebaikan: Free upgrade to Executive Room with lounge access. Our request for crib, late check out and extra amenities catered for. The lounge pre dinner drinks and Breakfast following morning was superb.

Kekurangan: Room appeared outdated for the price. No special amenities. Some staff was friendly whereas others were not. Sauna was very small.

Kebaikan: Everything went well. Staff fabulous, we were using the Executive Lounge and to be greeted by your name (we did stay 10 nights over two periods) and then be "Welcome Back Shirley and John", did you enjoy...….

Kebaikan: Hotel Sunroute Plaza is a great option for travelers in Tokyo due to its great location (close to Shinkuku station), affordable rates, and nicely remodeled rooms.

Kekurangan: Rooms are small, but well done, and the room size is understandably for this conveniently located hotel.

Kebaikan: Perfect location. Very near to restaurants and train stations. Very accomodating staff as well.

Kebaikan: The wonderful staff and location, so close to everything!

Kebaikan: During our fiirst one night stay after arrival (27./28.02.)we had a comfortable large room, however paying more than for the actual 3 nights.

Kekurangan: This time we paid less, but had a small, rather uncomfortable room. The hotel probably being half empty due to the Corona epidemy, an offer for a free upgrade would have been welcome. We enjoyed such an offer in another place in Japan. We got the impression that the hotel is managed rather rigidly. When arriving before official check-in time, the personnel would not even do the preliminary paper work, being understood that the room could be entered only after check-in time. After having been for the third time in this hotel, we do not expect to repeat the experience.

Kekurangan: The view is what you would expect in a big city amongst sky'scrapers. It would be worth requesting a room on the street side.

Kebaikan: Very close to shops, subways, JR lines and restaurants. The price was affordable, we traveled in October. Booked an economy double bed room. They had a mini fridge and complementary water bottle that they refilled daily. Luggage service is available.

Kekurangan: Be aware economy room are very small if you requested for a double 500sq feet which is normal. Does take some adjusting to but is not too bad

Kebaikan: The view was just spectacular and worth upgrading at the ocean view room. The room itself was also very nice size and comfortable bed.

Kekurangan: Wifi should be available for all staying guests without joining a membership. It would be alright to try free membership but nowadays, all the oversea hotels allow the free Wifi anywhere you go. Since there is a beautiful view from the room, it would be perfect if there were chairs at the balcony to enjoy most of it.

Kebaikan: The hotel was beautiful. Staff was very nice.

Kekurangan: I saw a couple of cockroaches crawling on the buffet during breakfast. I lost my appetite after that. :(

Kekurangan: I booked non-smoking room but when I checked in they said there is no more non-smoking. I finally managed to switch room 1:00 in the morning. Staffs seem don't care if you stay or not. I had 2 luggage storage before checked in but they couldn't find them.

Kekurangan: shower might have been better, esp for taller people - though a hose over the bath seems to be standard fare in Japan. Plenty of pressure in it though. Room a little tight in size but quite adequate

Kebaikan: This hotel occupies high floors with unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Tower. As an "art hotel," it is full of interesting things to look at. Good size room. If this part of the city is where you want to be, it is an excellent value.

Kekurangan: Nothing. Be aware that subway and JR train access is a bit complicated and will take longer than it looks on a map.

Kebaikan: The location was fantastic and the staff was extremely friendly.

Kekurangan: The beds were awful and my wife and I woke up with back pain each day. The lobby on the 25th floor with separate elevators to the room was also a bit annoying.

Kebaikan: The rooms were superb and practical. Views nice and staff so great and helpful. Japanese Garden also lovely. Japanese breakfast very good. Central to many things and area around metro very good for restaurants and bars.

Kekurangan: In hotel dining and drinking was very pricey.

Kebaikan: Buffet breakfast in the Garden Lounge was very good as always, with views out over the lovely gardens and waterfall., and room service was prompt, well-presented and delicious. Notably, there are a number of excellent restaurants on-site from which to choose. The gardens at Hotel New Otani are beautiful any time of year, and well worth wandering through. English is now spoken by most staff, which is very helpful for weary English-speaking travellers.

Kebaikan: This is an excellent hotel in a good location. It was a little away from the action but very comfortable throughout.

Kekurangan: The gym is expensive to use for guests which is unnecessary.

Kebaikan: I liked that the hotel served mainly individuals on business. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. There are some great restaurants in the hotel and a great a garden.

Kekurangan: A tour of the hotel would be great since it's such a big place. It took me until the end of the trip to figure out how to get around easier.

Kebaikan: The Hotel is good and cosy. My only complaint is to the fitness club is not free for all guest as each ordinary is required to pay 1100yen per day

Kebaikan: It was clean and easy to stay to. We went there for our anniversary, and the staff gave us a gift on our check out.

Kebaikan: Large rooms, not the typical smaller rooms you see in Tokyo. Service was excellent and linen was fresh and clean.

Kekurangan: Location was farther out of town, but there is many choices for bus, taxi or train to get into Tokyo.

Kebaikan: Amazing hotel. Rooms were very comfortable. Able to provide four beds in one room for a family of four. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Excellent staff.

Kekurangan: Noisy, only smoking rooms available when I had made a reservation for a non-smoking room, there was not even an apology. Headache because of the smoky room, couldn't sleep, noisy customers. Quite miserable.

Kekurangan: There AC was automatically set and could not get colder then 70* the room was so stuffy and uncomfortable. They brought us a fan and told us to turn off the AC as the temp was automatically set. That was not a good thing.

Kebaikan: Great location. I often stay in Shinagawa on business trips to Tokyo because of its central location. From Narita Airport the express train goes directly to Shinagawa Station across the street. From Haneda Airport it is just two stops on the Yamanote circle line to the monorail to the airport. Room price was also a very good value for the money.

Kekurangan: Breakfast buffet, at over ¥3000 seems overpriced. I opted for coffee shops off site rather than the hotel breakfast. Also, fitness center was not free to use for guests.

Kebaikan: We stayed in the North Tower and the room included a really nice breakfast buffet!

Kekurangan: The North Tower room we had was very small.

Kebaikan: Location was great right out of the Shinagawa Station, which allowed quick and easy access to the vast train and subway network of Tokyo. Do yourself a favor and get a PASMO card to make using this network quick and painless. The hotel had tons of restaurants and entertainment on premises in case you don't plan on venturing out to enjoy the city, and I suspect the rooms in the main hotel are very nice judging by the reception area and images.

Kekurangan: I knew the rooms would be small in the east tower, as it is intended for the solo traveler who's just looking for a place to crash at night. I didn't expect much, but I was still left disappointed. Upon entering the hotel, you look to the right and you see this modern and extravagant reception area for the majority of the hotel. Then you look to the left, and you see a significantly more aged and dingy reception area for the east tower only. The room itself was old and outdated, smelled terrible, and had paper-thin walls. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. Additionally, while a small bathroom is fine for the purpose, when the shower is so narrow that the shower curtain is unavoidably clinging to your side the whole time, it goes a bit too far. I would have gladly traded another 1' of the bedroom space to increase the bathroom size. Finally, no breakfast was included with the east tower, but apparently was included elsewhere, and they don't even throw a bottle of water in the room. The bottom line is that the east tower should not even be considered part of the same hotel as the rest of the Shinagawa Prince Hotel, as the images on the site are extremely misleading as to what you are getting into.
