The gentleman who helped us at the counter was very kind however we had a reservation on a Sunday for a two week rental. Our flight was canceled from the states to Edinburgh and it delayed us one day. I emailed Green motion to advise them of the flight cancellation and next day pick up.They did tell me they would be able to reinstate my rental however they could not guarantee the car class which was economy. When we got to Green motion, they charged us an additional US$1000 for a full-size car when we were adamant we wanted the smallest car possible due to our unfamiliarity driving the narrow roads in opposite directions . They told us this was the only available vehicle however there were hundreds of smaller cars on the lot that day and they obviously could’ve made a price concession understanding that our flight was canceled. So a car rental that was originally meant to cost us $300 was $1300 plus the additional gas and stress on the roads Total rip off agents. Had we had time we would’ve simply found another rental car company to rent from that day however we were time crunched with our arrival having already been delayed a solid 24 hours. We really felt taken advantage of by this company and do not suggest renting from them or being steered by their low rates. Many other people were having issues at the rental counter which is also not convenient as it’s offsite from the airport.As mentioned the gentleman at the counter was very kind, but said his hands were tied due to management’s decision-making. Pass on green motion!

They didn’t take my credit card and I’m trying to get my money back. They tried to take 1500 pound deposit. Insane

Car was clean and well maintained. Pick up and drop off experience was horrendous. High pressure tactics to buy insurance. I double checked that I declined CDW while booking so that I can use my credit card insurance. But they declined to accept that, forcing me to take insurance. They gave some vague idea about the amount of petrol in the car they said half tank. . I missed taking a picture. So during return they insisted it was 3/4 tank. Had to pay for quarter tank. Very shady practices overall. Will not recommend renting through them again.

The prices are ridiculous. And the workers at the Location in Korfu are really unfriendly and mean. Also they are trying to convince you to pay much more than usually for normal stuff. It’s not transparent what they are doing and for what are you paying. Also the Deposit prices are way too high. I felt really uncomfortable in the office on Corfu.

This was by far the worst car rental experience in the last 20 years. It reminded me of car rental experiences 30 years ago when you still had to be hyper vigilant not to get scammed. I did some research and I have to agree with a lot of the reviews on the internet. This car rental company is dodgy. They will try to find the tiniest scratch in order to charge you or the insurance company extra. I do not recommend anyone doing business with them, including Kayak.

They would not rent any car if you don’t have international license. This is their scam, How do I know? because I went to another company and rented a car couple hours later without international license.

Memy and George were so helpful. They communicated clearly, explained the drop off, and went above and beyond to make sure our rental was easy and stress free. It was my first time renting in Athens and it went perfectly. Thank you Memy and George!
