Customer service front desk guy awesome but I did not get the car I picked. Ended up getting a gigantic gas guzzling car instead of the small economic one I wanted.

The person needing us in San Antonio was excellent service and I'm grateful that they added me as a secondary driver without charging you more because that's how it should be. It actually makes it safer for the company to not charge extra for a secondary driver because when the primary driver is tired instead of worrying about how much more it was going to cost to have a secondary driver it was automatically assumed that I would be the secondary driver at no extra cost and my husband and I took turns all the time to keep us both safe. I think it's foolish to charge for a secondary driver because it discourages people who are trying to cut costs and they may not want to pay for a secondary driver which is not safe. And the car was very clean when we picked it up and I tried very hard to make sure it was very clean when we dropped it off.

Getting the jeep was a bit hectic as they didn’t have them ready but everything else was great.

The longest check-in line I have ever waited on in 47 years. And they did not have anything in the class of car that I had booked, and effectively downgraded me to an suv. Had I not advocated for myself for a different model at least, I would have gotten a terrible car. Generally when the class I've booked hasn't been available, I've gotten an upgrade to something better. The fact that they bumped me to something worse is a disgrace.

30 minute wait at pick up with only 4 people on line ahead of me. Otherwise a nice rental experience with a clean car and easy drop off

The price was great but the pickup was unacceptable. It was a 2 1/2 hour wait in line at the counter to pick up the car. We missed our dinner with friends because of the wait. I will never use Avis/budget in Punta Gorda again. There was only one person at the counter for the first 2 hours of waiting time.

The pick up and drop off was a little unclear. had to ask a few folks. drop off was not clear. there early 3:45am and directions in contract were not well written. took two people and 10 extra minutes to figure out.
