Cons:Got wrong address for pickup had to walk half and hour to actual location that I had to find thru a hotel because the customer service phone numbers only went to answering machines. Could not get in touch with any usave employee or office. Then when I arrived even though I had researched and received a email stating I would have unlimited miles they informed me there was a limit of 200 miles a day. This ruined my trip because I had to find an alternative and with all the delays I missed my appointments for the day. I couldn't even call to complain to anyone and I will likely not use kayak anymore for rentals I will contact the companies directly because of this unreal hassle and horrible service

Cons:Everything was pretty much awful. We waited a very long time at the airport, to be picked up. There was a lot of confusion as to whom was to do what. Once we finally got to the office there was no electricity. After we got the vehicle and drove a few miles, we realized that the air conditioning didn't work but we drove to our resort anyway. Once we arrived I called them but of course no one answered. Fortunately, I wrote the number of the young man who picked us up in case they're were any issues. After reaching him by phone, I was able to speak to the office manager and asked her to come get the car and to their credit they did. Somehow U-save turned into Larry's car rental. After several emails, I finally was issued a credit for the entire amount on March 8th. It was like pulling teeth. I think that the threat of responding to your Kayak inquiry, helped to get the credit. I did do business with Prestige car rental that had very nice cars at a comparable price. I own an apartment on the French side and warned my family not to use U-save ever.

Cons:the guy was not there when we showed up at the airport. we waited 45 mins for him to show up after calling him. then he wanted me to pay him even though we already paid kayak (took my cc copy) for ins and payment) . the car had difficulty starting numerous times. and had to be pushed. i also paid a mechanic 100 euros to have it repaired. the gas needle did not work, so we never knew when to get gas. the drop off time was 4 am, which at the time of pick up was agreed. then they did not show up, so we almost missed the flight. then they charged me another 30 euros for a drop off fee.

I did a reservation to pick up vehicle @ 10:00pm. I arrived @ the airport about 8:50pm. Im waiting for a vehicle to pick me up at that time. No one had arrived, I called no one answer. I got a UBER to get there. There were close at 10:00pm. So I had to Uber back to the airport and get a rental a ENTERPRISE which the rate was the same and better services and they gave me upgrade. So will do business in the future with ENTERPRISE. So I called the next day I spoke with a representative early and he was unprofessional. Saying that I was a liar and etc etc. All I told him to not charge anything on my card . USAVE, I think they have to change that name. Unfortunately

Pros:Car was fine. Pretty cheap.
Cons:Not actually located at airport. Take a shuttle to office near the airport. Very inconvenient. Not well staffed. Lots of waiting. Even when returning car. No streamlined dropoff like most airport rentals. Walk into busy office. Try and get staff attention. They take my keys to the guy outside to do an inspection. This same guy is also getting people their cars they just rented - so he is busy. He brings back inspection card. I return to office for completion of paperwork. VEry slow and annoying when you are trying to catch a flight home. I will happily pay a few dollars more per day for the better name brand rentals with offices at the airport.
