The car was old, wasn't cleaned properly and the key fob was going dead (battery). When I returned it no one was at the counter to inform that the battery needed to change or give me a receipt. It worked fine, but wasn't a good experience.

Be careful when renting from Budget in LA. These guys add a “fuel option” to your bill — they say it will not be charged unless you return it with the fuel tank empty. This is NOT TRUE. If you bring it back full, they will still charge you the $100+ for the fuel option unless you physically go to the office to dispute the charge. The guy at the counter even told me that this is a way the guys at the counter “try to make more money” — so be aware.

The counter staff in deer Lake is always top notch! Friendly and helpful. The car (KIA Sorento) was a dealers choice as per my booking, and I couldn't have been happier with all that space while traveling the island. The car was clean and in perfect working order. Thank you

Drop off was a problem. We were told to go in and wait in line while in fact we didn't have to. Also lots of dog hairs in the vehicle at pick up. Not great for our allergies

would like to get the car make and model that I selected on my reservation. Garage pick up station closed immediately after we picked up the car keys. would have liked to be able to ask a Budget employee a question or two on car operation before we left the garage.

There was a 2-hour line to pickup the car when we got to the airport. I had to cancel the reservation and book with Alamo (which, along with the 4 other car rental agencies, had a short line) to make our event on time. The Alamo agent told me that Budget does this every day, by offering low teaser rates without disclosing that you'll have to wait 2-hours+ to pick up the vehicle. That's really poor form on Budget's part.
