Pros:Employee was friendly
Cons:Because of fine print, that should have been explained when I called to ask questions before booking, I ended up not being able to use Executive Car Rental. It was told to me only once I arrived that I needed a plane ticket that perfectly matched my rental dates. My outbound ticket that I DID have was not the exact date needed and I was told my four day rental would require a $500 deposit due to the dates being different. My plans for the entire week we’re effected and I am extremely unhappy. Not only will I never use kayak or Executive Car Rental again, I will be sure to let others know of my negative experience and the available, more than helpful other rental places just across the street.

Pros:For the most part staff was friendly.
Cons:The strictness to their time schedule was terrible. I had originally stated that I was renting from noon to noon 4 days later. I made the reservation without my flights in hand. I was called ahead of the rental asking when I would be in which was around 4 in the afternoon. They changed the arrival to 5:00 pm and told me I would need my return flight when I checked out the car. I gave them my flight number and thought all was fine. On the day of the return I received a phone call at 12:30, asking my if all was okay. They were expecting the car at noon. I told them I was on my way and would be there by 1:30. Okay, fine. At 1:00 I received another call. Your car was supposed to be in at noon. The car was needed immediately and because you are over an hour late, you will be charged another day. I was shocked. When I checked the car in, The attendant on the lot did not see this on the bill, but I have not yet received my deposit back. Never had a car company be this strict on time limits.

Cons:There was a 10 person line at the car rental office and only one person behind the register. It took me 1 hour and 10 minutes to pick up my car!!

Pros:There was only one customer service worker at the counter she was nice, but was unable to solve any issues that came up.
Cons:Very unorganized. Waited almost an hour for a vehicle that was not even the one I reserved I reserved a van and I was given a Nissan Altima! (for a family of 6!). I was told that I would get a discount but it was not applied or told the amount. I recently received an email that I was going to be given a refund of $16! Ridiculous! My family have to borrow another vehicle for our vacation! It was very inconvininent and they though it was worth $16. I reserved my van well in advanced and I paid a deposit and worked out all the details I even touched based with the company prior to my arrival NOT once did they mention that they did not have the vehicle I reserved available or tried to reach out to me to accomodate me in any other way. This is the worse experiece I had with a rental car company and they do not seem to care. The company offered me a discount for my next car rental as if I would EVER rent a vehicle from them ever again. I am sure discount to them mean $16 off! So as for the question what could have been better EVERYTHING.

Pros:that there were fast.
Cons:a bunch of hidden fees tacked on at the end which weren't discussed up front. if you don't get insurance ( through kayak, priceline booked this car and there was an offer for $11/day insurance) which i opted not to use and thus found out later only after mentioning insurance that the manager working there pretty much said i had to sign up for the most expensive insurance there then and could no longer sign up for the $11/day insurance. i have collision insurance on my visa signature, couldn't use it. in the end i ended up paying 150% of what the cost was supposed to be for the rental... don't use this car rental company - you'll pay way more than competitors in the end. $700 for six days the initial cost was to be $300, 100 of which was taxes... plus they lied about the cost of the return empty on gas refuel charge too. lying to get another ten bucks seems pretty petty. AVOID

Pros:Nothing.
Cons:Don't attempt to reserve a car with this company online unless you will be picking it up during "business hours." This is NOT shown anywhere during the reservation process on Kayak, but you'll see it in the confirmation email you get after booking. My flight was arriving later at night when Executive Car Rental was already closed. I called ahead to see if I could make other arrangements to pick it up after hours and they said no. I asked if I could pick it up the next morning when they were open again and they refused, even when I said I would pay for the extra day of reservation when they were closed. I asked if I could modify my reservation to just pick the car up the next morning and they said they were "sold out." Basically, they wanted to rent the car I had already reserved to someone else at a much higher price (I saw the prices increase by $100-200 for the days I had already booked). Lousy company - book earlier with a bigger chain to avoid the hassle and stress.

Pros:Price was good. Free upgrades are common. The woman who checked us in was very welcoming and friendly.
Cons:Only one shuttle, so you're going to wait a while. No one is ever at the counter when you get there, so you wait. Returning the car, you have to wait for them to check it over and start cleaning it before they'll close you out (can be 10-20 min alone). The vehicles aren't actually cleaned: we found 3 pop bottles, 2 water bottles, 1 juice bottle, and a little garbage in our freshly "cleaned" vehicle. Most of the employees act very rushed and are not really friendly, not even a greeting with a smile. The vehicles are VERY basic: no satellite radio, no backup cam, no BLUETOOTH!
