Very friendly reception. Good simple complete breakfast. Free internet. Last one is important. Should always be free. Price of self service drinks was pretty high.

Nada Horrible staff and accomodation. Far far away from Frankfurt downtown. Continuous misunderstandings. Attemps to charge more money than arranged. Non-qualified staff. Sometimes very small rooms and not very cozzy in all cases.

Almost top price! And our reservation through Booking.com is on 180€, but the counter price is 108€ at same room. The hotel is not worthy on this price even in hot season. Almost everything let me down except the sancturity.

The hotel reception man was helpful and friendly. His English was resonable (as my German is poor). The hotel is a short walk from the local S-Bahn station, and the local area is interesting with large stone buildings, and old beamed houses. I only stayed one night as I was visiting a trade show in Frankfurt. With the S-Bahn station nearby it is easy to get to/from Frankfurt main station and city centre. The hotel facilities are very basic, and although I can cope if the room is not on suite - as far as I could tell several rooms shared the same shower room/toilet on the floor I was on. So I took a shower before going out in the evening - in case things got busy later or in the morning...and was up early for my personal needs next day - but was aware of people waiting for access next morning. On check-in I was informed that there was no breakfast available (I could only book room only online - and had hoped to pay extra for breakfast on arrival). On check-out (I had been requested to pay on check-in) the reception area door was locked - and was instructed to drop the key in a key-drop box on the wall outside the hotel door.
