Cons: Not really a hotel for walkers. We like to walk a lot and take public transportation. Main entry for hotel best for cars/taxis. There is an after thought roped off area on the edge of the circle drive for pedestrians. The entrance is on 3rd floor up a steep ramp/circle drive which goes from ground floor up to 3rd level where the lobby is. We got honked at twice by taxis. At the top of ramp you arrive to the smoking break area for taxi drivers. Once past that you get to the the beautiful lobby. I think they are more use to people arriving by car/limo.

Pros: Overall I loved my room. Room service was fast and food was delicious! Someone actually came to my room to give me a full “how to” on everything in the room and showed me where everything was. Pool+View was amazing both from the top floor and my view. I loved how the curtains open when you enter the room to the WOW city view. Definitely worth my money and I’d do it again next chance I get.
Cons: One thing I didn’t like was the long elevator wait times but that’s something I can easily get over because the positive outweighs the negative by a extremely wide margin.

Cons: From the beginning, I should have set low standards. I asked for a room in the high level. The reception happily announced that he found one - a room at level 15. I never heard level 15 classified as an upper floor. But I was tired after 1.5 days of traveling. The next day, HVAC maintenance came to clean the vent - unannounced. Just knocked and said - we have to clean the vent. No forward notice from the hotel. The room was not very clean. There was mildew in the sink and the towels weren’t arranged properly. The sink stopper was off, the bathtub stop was broken and the water kept gushing out when you shower. The bathroom light was worst. It was like being in a mine, with some spots lit and others dimmed. Definitely not a place to get ready for a date for. The next day, housekeeping did not come. They said there was a privacy notice. I never saw a privacy notice. When I got in at 6pm, they rushed to expedite the cleaning, and it was done haphazardly. For the price you pay per night here, I think you’ll be better off at Fullerton, Shangri-La or Marina Bay Sands.

Pros: Hotel attached to both Raffles city mall and City Mall metro station. Unbelievably convenient where transit station is steps away from the hotel and you don’t need to even go outside if its raining (saved my wife from having her hair ruined which in turn is a life save for me!). Mall is also connected to the hotel so you have an abundance of top notch food choices from a high end japanese restaurant to castella cakes, coffee/ramen shops and Din Tai Fung all just below the hotel. Room was spacious, with a view and central to almost everything there is to see in Singapore. Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown and Orchard Road can all be reached with a quick 10 min train ride or a 20-30 minute stroll. Service was impeccable starting from the lovely receptionist and front desk staff. Gina helped us and not only gave us an early check in, but also hand drew on the map where we were in the city, top points of interest and also wrote down her favorite places to eat nearby. Thanks for the chicken rice tip Gina!! You made our stay so much more personable and easy! In addition, we had a hard time using the outlets since my wife had a special hair curler needing the standard US 110V but since we didn’t have one, they actually had a converter AND a step down voltage converter to take the Sing 220V to US 110V! Amazing help so the wife could look and feel her best! Overall great stay and loved the convenient location and service so much we booked another stay on the way back from Thailand. Kudos to the Fairmont Singapore team!

After they’re through with your room, you can eat off the floor (well, not off those carpets ... but still!).
Cons: The WIFI’s Internet access. It’s spotty, to say the least, and THAT, to me, makes an enormous difference. Even in the Executive Lounge on the 23rd floor, half the room, to the left of elevators and in the conference room ... excellent ... the other half ... forget it, had to use Singtel. Same in Prego, the Italian Restaurant on the ground floor (if you like black truffles, by the way, now they have a special truffle menu!).

Pros: Wonderful spacious room with king size bed, large marble bathroom with double sinks, tub and separate shower. every morning our we ate at the breakfast buffet, an array of English, Chinese, Japanese and Singaporean favorites, including a personal chef for eggs, an ice cream machine, and plenty of cappuccino or espresso too. Attached to a large shopping mall, and close to the MRT (subway).
Cons: Nothing, a better value than the Ritz.

Cons: Dark hotel, slow service/checkin, old hotel, outdated rooms in poor condition, noicy hotel due to the design of the hotel with. Music from the loby goes straight to the 11th floor inside the room! Old bathrooms.... In short a BAD experience

Pros: Room had great view of city was clean but had to request to move rooms because the first room smelled stale of moldy cigarettes. We were then moved to non smoking and it was worth the inconvenience although the view was less interesting. Staff was aware of stale smell and did help accommodate. Nice bathrooms. Overall architecturally interesting late 80's hotel... Will not return.
Cons: I am asthmatic so right when we settled in I couldn't stop noticing the stale smell. We also had just landed in SG so tried to check in 30 minutes early and our reservation did not show up until 2 pm. The staff was not the most attentive and the hostess held on to my phone for about 10 minutes.

Pros: Location is right on MRT Esplanade. Easy commute to Marina area, Gardens by the Bay and distance from orchard road.
Cons: Hotel room is not modern, a bit old even though after the renovation. Drinking water provided in the room is limited, needed to ask for more every day House keeping keeps changing the spot I put my stuff.

Pros: Good quality breakfast and friendly front desk staff.
Cons: Hotel architect has tried too hard with fancy glitz finishes but forgot the fundamentals on layout and space utilisation. From an asymmetric reception area, congested lobby entrance through to a rabbit warren of bedroom corridor the overall feeling is awkward and impractical. The Loft Bedroom is an inefficient use of space with a lot of unintended consequences, unusable storage, ugly staircase and absolutely tightly fitted mattress into a small mezzanine deck bed. Hopeless to enter, without crawling from one side to the other, impossible for cleaners to vacuum and already starting to look dingy and worn out. The Dorsett Singapore is a big disappointment.

Pros: Convenience to MRT station, wifi, plus relatively close to Chinatown.
Cons: Outlook not that great, overlooks major civil construction associated with MRT expansion (one day it will finish) and busy dual carriageway, however no noise in the hotel.

Pros: Friendly staff. We changed reservations for a bigger room part way through our stay. The front desk staff walked me around to a few rooms so I could choose the one I preferred. Awesome! Clean rooms, waterfall showers! Flatscreen mounted on the wall, with some cable channels and free movie selection.
Cons: Rooms are small (superior), as expected, but bigger than some rooms I've had in Japan. Pay for the deluxe and the rooms are more normal sized. signage was limited and the taxi drivers didn't know the hotel, so took some time finding the back entrance for cars

Pros: It was in a fabulous location. Walking distance to little India. The bed was very comfortable and the room came with a tablet that controlled everything in the room! All the lights and the TV so it a as great.
Cons: The room itself was very small. I was traveling solo so I didn't mind, though a couple might have some problems. Overall though it was a amazing hotel.

Cons: forgot my Apple charger iin room.when I checked out. I contacted hotel same day. immediate reply, but was told they could nit locate it. this can only mean a member of staff misappropriated it. Luckily it was just an adapter but coukd have been passport, phone, etc.

Cons: We were in room xx01 Toilet flush failed. After they fixed, it works half the times. No in room refrigerator. The shower hose was leaking water. The linen was dirty but they did not change for us (hotel policy is every 2 days) Not recommended.

Pros: The best part was how really comfortable the bed was. I wasn't anticipating to get out of bed, at all. You can imagine. The cleanliness was on a tip-top condition. Furthermore, after a nights' stay, I was out the whole day and came back to see that my bed's been made, my towels have been replaced, including all my toiletries too! It was amazing. The staffs were wonderful too. They were very polite and were very prompt to help us whenever assistance was needed. It was all very pleasant. I would come back to stay at Studio M Hotel again, no doubt.
Cons: I think it is more to where it is located at. It would have been really convenient if it wasn't much of a walking distance to the hotel from the nearest MRT Station. But this wasn't that much of an issue, until it rained and I realised how 3/4 of the time, there were barely any sheltered area from the hotel to the MRT Station vice versa.

Pros: The customer service was probably the only thing good about this hotel.
Cons: Extremely small rooms and too expensive for the room. The room was so small hardly enough for one person let alone two even though it said a double room. The bathroom was tiny and no partition between the toilet and shower apart from a flimsy curtain, therefore when you showered water would be everywhere- absolutely disgusting. I would definitely never visit this hotel again and would recommend people not to stay in this hotel, complete waste of money.

Pros: Fantastic location, by the river, access the river side bars and restaurants. Easy walk to the centre of Singapore. Good access to MRT. The hotel is small, good beds, buffet breakfast. Fantastic price for location as a base to see Singapore.

Pros: The location was great and the staff was friendly, breakfast included is always a bonus.
Cons: It was so expensive and was a 2 star at best, the room was tiny and old and the bathroom the same but worse. The facilities are extremely old and need an update, the quality was very low for $180 CAD per night.
