Cons: Not only was the hotel and all amenities extremely overpriced, but it was way too crowded. You cannot get the experience with all the crowds. Your constantly waiting in line for everything! Including checking in, the pool, restaurants, etc. Very surprised that it did not meet my expectations.

Cons: Rooms were awfully small, the amenities were very limited, service was fine. Very surprised the ratings for this hotel are as high as they are. You can do much better in Singapore.

Cons: Hotel architect has tried too hard with fancy glitz finishes but forgot the fundamentals on layout and space utilisation. From an asymmetric reception area, congested lobby entrance through to a rabbit warren of bedroom corridor the overall feeling is awkward and impractical. The Loft Bedroom is an inefficient use of space with a lot of unintended consequences, unusable storage, ugly staircase and absolutely tightly fitted mattress into a small mezzanine deck bed. Hopeless to enter, without crawling from one side to the other, impossible for cleaners to vacuum and already starting to look dingy and worn out. The Dorsett Singapore is a big disappointment.

Cons: The beds were old and they were so firm, it was tantamount to lying on the floor. To be clear, I seek out firm mattresses, but this exceeded anything I've ever used before. Additionally, the room had the smell of a room that had been a smoking room in the past 10 years. It felt dirty.
