San Diego hotels in Carmel Valley

Room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. The bed was just right. Very quiet and relaxing. Good value for the money. We didn't like having to pay for parking. There was not a refrigerator in the room and breakfast was too expensive for us.

Got a very good room, private and comfy. Looks like a business hotel, but we had no problem feeling great on our romantic getaway. One small hiccup, found a plastic bottle on our last day under the bed.

Nice hotel good location

The restaurant staff was great and the food was very good--and resonably priced. The beds were comfortable, the room smelled nice, the pools were clean and well kept. I would've liked access to a concierge or at least someone who was able and willing to answer questions. When I asked about whale cruises, they just pointed me to the brochure rack.

Convenient to I-5, shops and dining nearby, clean quiet rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Breakfast didn't always include a breakfast meat (pretty minor).

My whole stay was great. Close parking garage, free breakfast, friendly staff, great clean rooms. Legoland is like 15 minutes and it helps that the hotel is right next to the freeway. The only thing I didn't like its that the curtains in the room couldn't be closed.

Room and breakfast was terrific. Location was a bit difficult to find.

Staff was terrific, even giving my husband a drink on the house because his wait time was long. They also gave our children rubber duckies for their baths. The only thing that I would complain about is we called for towels and didn't get them. However, we did leave for dinner about 45 minutes later. (We just wanted them before and were so hungry, we shared towels to get ready for dinner faster.)

The gym. The staff was great. The breakfast was better than expected.

Staff was fantastic. Room was fine. Clean. Beds comfortable.

Nice hotel away from the big city yet 15 minutes away from most places. Great staff and nice rooms. We enjoyed our stay. Muffins and Oatmeal bars were great!
