Pros: Everything. Perfect beach and pool, nice staff, breakfast was amazing. We got an upgraded so the room and experience were even more amazing.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I always enjoy reading lengthy, descriptive reviews that truly give me a feel for what I am getting myself into—so, here is my best attempt. Complimentary Hotel Shuttle: After a short 1 hour flight from Ho Chi Minh, my boyfriend and I arrived in Phu Quoc(we were told it’s pronounced “fu cook”). When we hopped off the plane we were immediately greeted by a very kind staff member who showed us to the shuttle. As soon as we buckled up they handed us each an ice cold water bottle, which was welcomed in the 80° F weather. Arrival: After a quick 5 minute drive, we arrived to the hotel. Which, let me just tell you, blew our minds. It was so beautiful, clean and the architecture so modern. The staff all greeted us with a warm welcome and delicious complimentary drinks! They asked us if we had any food allergies, to which we informed them we were both lactose intolerant. Then we went up to our 3rd floor room! Our room: It overlooked the ocean, and had an arming bathtub with a window you could open so you could have the sea view. There was welcome snacks for us in the room as well. The room looked just like the pictures, if not better. Breakfast: Okay, so here is where they really went above and beyond! They have this giant buffet, which is nothing like normal buffets—it is elegant and plentiful. They have a serve yourself waffle/crepes/pancake station, but since those things are normally cooked with milk my boyfriend and I were bummed. So instead, we filled up on fresh squeezed orange juice, bacon, dragon fruit, papaya, and made to order eggs. To our surprise, without us asking anything they came to our table with crepes and waffles made with soy milk! None of the other places we have been to on our Asia trip had been so accommodating, so you can see why this made us so happy. The pool: My boyfriend and I woke up each morning, had breakfast, then explored the city for a few hours.

Pros: everything was realy perfect! great crew and services, best breakfast bufet ever since i travel (40 years) location is great.... i will recommend everybody to go and stay here
Cons: nothing !!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money, very nice staff, very good location, I think better then in the city. Most beutiful place!! !!!Best pillows ever!!!!
Cons: Low water pressure on the shower, and always a bit sandy in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The resort is just amazing. The level of service and facilities (including clean beach and see-through water) are on a level of 5* hotel. Both rooms and outside facilities are clearly "designed" to meet the highest expectations. Outside you will find loads of trees, flowers, waterfall, eg. While the rooms are designed with very posh looking (designed) furniture. All staff is clearly very well trained and would practically make you very aware that you are a very valuable guest. What I find also a great benefit is a fact that the hotel itself owns their own motorbikes and offer a rental for very reasonable price (with full support if needed including a valet parking :-) which was really nice - they would park and cover the bike for you so even a night rain is not an issue). The breakfast are also worth to mention - the choice is just endless and changing every day. If you imagine a regular hotel breakfast options and multiply it with 10x ...that is what you get :-) If you spent beginning of your Vietnam visit traveling from place to place (as many foreign tourist do) this is definitively a recommended last stop to fuel up your energy and enjoy Maldives type of beach with 5* service.
Cons: The resort restaurant (lunch/dinner dishes) are bit overpriced if compared to any other restaurant in walking distance which resulted in an (bit sad) empty restaurant every evening we stayed there and also "motivated" us to take our dinner elsewhere. But if you are looking for a high quality and posh style served dinner this is a place to stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is good enough. its served Local, Asian & International food. Although is not variety, but enough to start a day.
Cons: Quite environment , Nice Room (partly facing the sea) . It is a front of the beach
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff - so friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, clean and spacious and only 20 yards from the beach but if it rained as just sat on the veranda and watched the sea. Bed was very comfortable. There was a band on each night we were there - except Sunday - singing all the old favourites- who we enjoyed listening to. The landscaped gardens were beautiful and personally I thought it so much better than Mango Bay. The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice and an egg chef though remember you are not in England so don't expect the same style of bacon etc.
Cons: The bar shut at 10 pm each night which I thought was a bit early but in fairness you could ask for several bottles of beer and they would bring them to you in a cool box full of ice. The food wasn't as good as Mango Bay and when we were there in the middle of September the choice was limited but it was perfectly acceptable and cheaper than Mango Bay. We ate there 4 nights out of 6.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet was good and with good variety, pick up and drop off free service was useful, wifi was working fine. The hotel is located on a really beautiful beach, the place was calm and relaxing and the staff very kind. Services were good (we rented a motorbike for 150k per day, they helped us booking a ferry and a scuba diving trip and everything worked fine). The restaurant and the bar offered good food and drinks. Great place to stay, I would reccomend it for a relaxing holiday
Cons: There was a bit of rubbish on the beautiful beach
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help, a free shuttle was included to and from the airport, they made me a special breakfast due to my dietary limitations and all staff were welcoming.
Cons: Would be great if had a pool! It was a little difficult to walk around the neighbourhood at night as was no street lighting and lots of stray dogs. The breakfast was good but the lunch wasn't- a vegetable curry which was mainly liquid with some undercooked veg and no tofu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money was exemplary at Coco Palm. The staff were so kind, superb breakfast (delicious omelette a), best beach in Phu Quoc, comfortable beds and great pillows. I feel so good after my stay here!! Thank you
Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa - Phu Quoc - Building

9.3 Excellent (953 reviews)
RM 489+
Overview Reviews
From the moment we first walked through an uninhabited tropical forest on Phu Quoc Island and discovered a pristine beach in a secluded coral bay boasting panoramic views across the Gulf of Thailand, we were inspired to create Green Bay Resort. We immediately had a vision of an eco-conscious, five-star boutique resort that nurtured the natural beauty of one of the secluded Vietnam beaches. Our goal was to develop a world class resort in Phu Quoc without disturbing the island’s enchanting, rustic aura. Our luxurious lodgings incorporate natural and sustainably-sourced materials while featuring all of the modern amenities that guests would expect from a superlative boutique holiday experience . Every day you will see a team of gardeners carefully maintaining the bucolic beauty throughout the resort. Each and every detail throughout our resort – from the serene setting of our spa through the restaurants and to the infinity pool bar that overlooks a pristine shoreline and the turquoise waters of a coral fringed-bay, guests will appreciate how Green Bay Resort strives to protect its most precious asset: the natural beauty of Phu Quoc Island.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place, the bungalows are amazing and perfectly clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The Spa is very nice.
Cons: The food didn't meet the expectations for such a beautiful hotel. Poor choice (ok it was not high season) but most of all not well executed, we travelled 2 weeks around vietnam and we always ate better than here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Green Bay Resort was very special. The complex is really well designed and built. The little things count, e.g. excellent wifi throughout including on the beach, cable/Netflix tv, great water pressure. All the little things that can frustrate during a holiday but at Green Bay they were all taken care of. A lot of thought went into developing the resort. Staff were excellent and really well trained, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and quality product. Free pick-up from and return to airport much appreciated. We would like very much to return. Congratulations management and staff of Green Bay Resort, FIVE STARS PLUS.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. It was wonderful.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: They gave me a cake for our anniversary.
Cons: My wife and I both got sick from our private pool. Everything was overpriced and the service was so extremely SLOW! It took them over an hour to make a salad. The refrigerator does not really keep things cool and the keycard is the only thing that gives power to the room so you will go out for the day and come back to a scorching hot room. Again I can not over emphasize how slow the service was, even for just a beer they took over 10 minutes. It was a waste of money. They had a special promotion on spa treatment for 30% off then tried to say my wife's treatment didnt qualify for a discount after. They also did a horrible job on her nails it looked like a 5 year old painted them and the paint just chipped off within a day anyways. My bed sheets also smelled like cigarettes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly, hardworking and attentive. This is our second stay at Green Bay and we would highly recommend it, particularly for couples
Cons: They use to have a separate lunch and dinner menu, now they have one menu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a wonderful quiet resort, that has all you could ask for.
Cons: It would be cool if the restaurant would have more vegetarian options. But there was always the possibilty to change the dish to a vegetarian version.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Garden and grounds are lovely, enjoyed the garden view bungalows with their privacy, spacious room, balcony, indoor and outdoor bathroom and very comfortable big bed. Staff were pleasant, attentive and always helpful. Massage at the Spa was excellent in a private, outdoor garden setting with a slight breeze which was great.
Cons: Limited to only one restaurant as the other was being renovated. There were some inaccurate meal descriptions in English on the menu
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place and service. We love it! Highly recommend it!
Cons: All hood
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Homes, very clean, nice personell with good English skills, relaxing, quiet
Cons: Very high prices in the restaurant (3-5 times normal Vietnamese prices)

Pros: I loved the location, the gardens and of course the pool which overlooks the beach. Food was amazing and the free cocktail everyday was a nice plus.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was perfectly situated for anyone visiting Phu Quoc. The rooms, cottages and the apartment that we were upgraded to were just fantastic with all the comforts of home. Beds were a delight to sleep in as most beds in Asia can be pretty hard. The pool and dining area were both well situated right near the beach and the only big decision you had to make after a scrumptious breakfast was whether to swim in the pool first or walk a steps and swim in the clean beach water. Food at the property was superb all of the time, whether it was breakfast, a snack, lunch or dinner with a great choice of food styles.
Cons: Nothing- would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Cons: I would recommend Cassia to everyone. One of the best places I've stayed at. Just super

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful eco-resort and friendly staff. Delicious food, fresh, home-baked with love. A very nice environment to relax and have fun activities too ! We absolutely loved the vernacular architecture and the view from our villa !
Cons: The lighting in the restaurant could be dimmer at night, but the bar downstairs was our favorite spot !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was awsome. Staff very nice. Very helpful.
Cons: Everything was great really. Though if i had to come up with something i would say the italian items on the menu that we had were not memorable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super good Chef.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The infinity pool at the hotel and the rooms are spacious. Very accommodating staff. The hotel offers their own shampoos, conditioner, shower gel and lotion. They help to plan the time to get to the airport on your day of check out. A very nice place to stay for vacation!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view from our room and all the staff were super friendly. The resort had an amazing set up and layout with the pool and beach front location.
Cons: The sliding door to go out was super heavy and was a struggle to open and close every time and the toilet had a bit of a smell to it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially regarding arrangements for our 1-year old child. The beach front villa was really just on the beach front, with the sea a short 20 meters away. The resort operations also promote a green approach: for instance, cutting down on the use of plastic bottles for room amenities. The breakfast was also quite nice: try the apple and cinnamon syrup on top of some freshly made pancakes!
Cons: We were unlucky with the weather (raining most of the time), so we could not make the most of our time at the resort.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good front desk (Loan), and one guy front desk (forgot name) even answered my emergency electricity problem during midnight 1am. Also, the 2 trainees at breakfast restaurant were very attentive and friendly. Lots of breakfast choices. Price of the dinner at in-house restaurant is reasonable. Infinity Pool is great. Free non-motorized sports (canoe and snorkeling) also another plus points. The beach in front of our villa is superb!! Clean beach and very good sports staffs. Water drinks in room also enough, thanks to great housekeeping team. Spacious bed (I travel with my 2 kids), and spacious room+shower area. Overall very good hotel.
Cons: Location of the hotel is a bit remote (with some difficulties buying some groceries if you want to walk around). Chargeable drinks and food inside the room should be more reasonable priced. Pool closed at 6pm, way too early. Maybe can consider to open till 7pm.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: exclusive beach, spacious area, eco friendly resort
Cons: shower booth is hard to open, diffucult to adjust water temperature

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful. The location, the accommodation, breakfast was amazing and the staff wonderful in every way. Total relaxation!
Cons: The drive from the airport was a little bit long due to the poor road state caused by a lot of construction activities en route
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was fresh, delicious and very well-priced. Staff very helpful and friendly. A small, family-run resort that offers so much more than the big flashy resorts that are popping up on the island.
6.3 Good
Pros: The place is just beautiful and the staff are super nice!
Cons: The hotel is very overpriced, comparing to the rest of the resort, it costs segnifcliy more and for no reason. (I was before at cocopalm resort which was cheaper and a lot better) There is nothing! Around the resort, all the road are in constructions around, very far from anything to do, no resturunt no nothing. If you are staying there the only thing you have to do or eat is in the resort. The resturent is overpriced and not that good, it's not bad but not great, surly doesn't worth the money. The shower is or crazy hot or cold, it takes few minutes to get to normal heat. I don't understand how there is only good reviews here. Even the motorbike renting place outside the resort is double the price!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good cooking. Quiet and cozy place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: ... great atmosphere, warm welcome, the manager was always there to see if everything is fine, wonderful roomes, great food in the restaurant, pool in the garden made for having chilled days, it was great there and with the little peppercorn gift at the end we will remember our great days there
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, friendly staff, good food
Cons: Rocky shore, pool very small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so friendly and helpful. Happy hour free drinks between 4 and 5pm. Very good onsite restaurant.
Cons: Its not that I didn't like it but they don't need to replace beach and bath towels everyday. (I said to them when I saw the cleaner not to bother on the day I saw them go to do so.

Pros: The room was very nice and spacious. They presented the room nicely w. Flowers and towel art upon our arrival because it was our honeymoon. There was 2 pool which everyone can use, free buffet breakfast. The staff was very helpful with everything.
Cons: There were ants in our room. The location is a 20min scooter ride from the duong dong which is the nearest city center. If you don't rent a scooter getting around Phu quoc will be expensive. The beach thats 1 km away was very dirty but turns out it's one of the cleaners beaches in all of Phu quoc because Sao Beach the most popular beach was much worse.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary at scheduled times.
6.7 Good
Pros: The staff were attentive and the facilities were good. The gym is a bit small but adequate enough for a one week stay. The spa was also good but don't expect 5 star spa experience as the massages/therapy experience on offer can differ wiildly depending on which person is providing the massage/treatment. Overall not a bad choice and decent value for money but just realiaww that you will be at the other end of the Island away from most other resorts and restaurants
Cons: The hotel was very far out from other hotels and restaurant. This would not be an issue if the food and food choice was better but unfortunately it was lacking in quality. We were also told at the time of check in that they could not up grade us immediately as the typhoon had destroyed some of the villa's. This was not a big issue but we did expect to be told about a possible up grade during our stay but they never bothered to update us!
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Food could have been better
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything! It was a perfect vecation.
Cons: It was a bit far from the center but it didn't really matter since it's such a perfecr place.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, very peaceful and you can easily feel like you are alone in the resort. The rooms are amazing and very high standard, super comfy beds, the pool is very fun, the beach is clean and gorgeous. The Spa treatments are also nice, but at some point we preferred to just stay at the pool and the beach all day. Also, great food in breakfast and in the hotel restaurants.
Cons: 1. Extreme prices inside the resort and being a captive audience: For any service that isn't included in the room rate, you will be charged with over the top prices. Laundry, renting a bike, and food and drinks outside of breakfast will be outrageously expensive. Also, when they show you the prices, it doesn't include taxes (15%)! We have been in Vietnam for 3 weeks and in 7 hotels, and in plenty of restaurants, and all of them presented the final prices in the menu, and there were no surprises. This gives a bad vibe during the stay, like they are taking advantage of you being isolated, and use unfriendly practices to extract as much money as possible during your stay. 2. The communication with the staff: So for the price you are paying, we expected to have no communication issues with the staff, but unfortunately many of them that you have to interact with on a daily basis, have a bad English. This can be frustrating, and is not expected in a high-end resort that is aimed to provide service to international tourists.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional customer servives
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb facilities and professional friendly service in a stunning location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort was fantastic ! Had all the necessary facilities for a good well being holiday . The pools in the villas were awesome and clean, the room were huge and well furnished and equipped , the SPA was out of this world. The service was excellent ! Shout out to Darry the manager who was so accommodating and very responsive to customer requests . He went out of the way to make our stay fantastic . Joerge, was also very good in providing us good insights of Phu Quoc and what we should know as tourists . Keep up the good work Fusionsitas.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved the garden pool villa, which had a good sized private pool and lush compound with lots of space for relaxing and lounging in the sun, a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, even a TV on a swivel so you could watch TV while enjoying the sunken bathtub! The ID is modern and tasteful throughout the hotel and room. The breakfast buffet spread at The Secret Garden was good and the "anytime anywhere" breakfast was a nice touch. While the restaurant and bar menus were quite limited, the quality of F&B was sufficient/met expectations. From the reviews I had expected the common facilities and beach etc to be very far from the villas, but in fact everything was within a very comfortable walking distance and we never had to use the buggy Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we were very happy with the service and facilities.
Cons: Only complaint was that the pillows were way too soft (I ended up sleeping on the firmer pillow from the couch), and the room lacked a full-length mirror.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The premises are deliciously quaint with remarkable grounds very well kept and most attentive and professional staff. The Spa is worth the detour where the atmosphere adds charm to our pampering. The free airport transfers are a most-appreciated delicate attention.
Cons: I would only recommend that guests be provided with an easy-to-read card for taxis indicating --in Vietnamese-- the exact location and providing a map. Such would avoid difficult discussions with drivers hardly English-speaking and not always aware of addresses.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with a nice beach and beautiful gardens. Staff can't do enough to help you. In a good location near to town and surrounded by bars and restaurants.
6.3 Good
Pros: Lovely rooms and staff
Cons: Swimming pool turned your hari green and the sea was so full of ocean waste. Not like I remember form 10 years ago either.

Pros: Excellent location, beach, Food, drinks, staff - there is nothing that could be done better!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Veranda is a beautiful Colonial style hotel with lush gardens, stunning ocean views and an all round relaxing feel to it. Coming back into the resort from the outside world seems like coming home. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much. One of my favourite things about La Veranda is sitting on the Veranda watching the view change at different times of the day. Sunset in particular. The food at Peppertree was wonder and a short walk down the beach to Spice House is nice thing to do. A must is seafood at the night market, it is cheap, chaotic and fun. All in all it is a wonderful place to stay and is my second time in 4 months. I will be a regular. Thank you Marshall, you have a great team.
6.7 Good
Pros: I enjoyed the view form the terrace, and the peaceful balcony. the hotel is closed to the beach and the service is good.
Cons: Mosquito repellant was not available. and there are mosquito everywhere as there s a tropical garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, staff and service were extraordinary, amazing view for the breakfast, convenient location.
Cons: The weather was the only that we were not fond of. August is not the best time to visit Phu Quoc.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Staffs are nice, supportive and polite. They are customer oriented.
Cons: Foods are so bad. Cleaniness is bad. Many pests died in our villa due to pesticides. Rooms are new but full of paint smells. And they took pictures of our faces for recognition, we asked them to delete the pictures for the privacy of our recognition but they did not delete.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room is exactly how it looks like on the picture. The room is big and clean.
Cons: The staff asked us about the transportation to the airport more than 3 times, and it took us more than three times for calling for room services. The internal information flow needs to be improved.

Pros: It was so luxurious, everything was amazing. We loved our butler Phu Truong. He was so genuine and always happy to serve. We felt so pampered and Phu Truong was the bonus on top of a perfect holiday.
Cons: The plumbing in our bathrooms smelt off. We ate pizza at the a la cartel restaurant and the sausage was not nice, and I felt abit sick afterwards.

Pros: Staff were very nice and helpful. Very quiet place in july eventhoug a little bit windy. Great food also and great cocktails at the happy hour in the swiming pool bar! Very good for children
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and facilities for families with children
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice room , holiday very nice ...
Cons: Very far way to night market
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Clean, nice grounds, nice clean swimming pool. The gazebos and seating near the beach is nice. The free transport for stay of more than 4 nights. Free use of the bicycles and kayaks Good corals and fishes immediately on the beach and continuing on to the east/right for as far as you can snorkel. Satellite TV channels in English for the rainy days during the monsoon
Cons: Restaurant and overall staff communication (except receptionist) was extremely difficult. Poor water visibility - it's the monsoon season, can't be helped
9.2 Excellent
Pros: In the quieter part of Phu Quoc - away from all the tourists. Lovely pool and great beach for kids! They even clean your room twice a day. HUGE breakfast which included fresh juice/smoothie/tea/coffee, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast, pancakes, waffles, English breakfast/ Vietnamese noodles. We had to order less because we could not finish our breakfast. Staff were lovely too!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed as got recommended by a friend, which is not letting me down at all. I’ve got free upgrade to Pool Front Deluxe Room. They provided excellent A La Carte breakfast. Tranquil natural surroundings are definitely a bonus. Polite and attentive staff. Not much time to use all the service this time but will be back in the future.
Cons: None that I know of.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING! I loved this place and would come back without question. We were here at the end of May and it was so quiet, it almost felt like our own private resort. The room was big and comfortable and steps from the beach. The restaurant had good prices and excellent food, every single thing we ate and drank was delicious. The beach has lots of lounge chairs with cushions and a couple hammocks and there was a security guard to keep people from neighbouring resort from coming over. There was a very nice pool area with lots of comfy looking shaded and unsunshaded seating but we never used it. We did enjoy the poolside bar at happy hour though. Fancy, delicious drinks! It was the most relaxing place! When we went for dinner staff went into our room and made the bed and emptied the garbage! The staff was polite and we had no problems with anyone. I wish we could have stayed longer. I loved this place!
Cons: The only complaint is that there a some rocks in the water at the beach that are sharp and need to be avoided.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location with very well kept beach and gardens. Great big pool with water slides for kids, which were heavily enjoyed. Pretty fair prices for food/drink considering it’s location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great snorkelling to the east of the resort, from the beach. Beachfront rooms were beautiful. Complimentary push bike use also very convenient and well appreciated. Kayaks, paddle boat, kids pool toys, snorkelling gear all supplied too.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location, clean. Perfect retreat.
Cons: Staff is terrible, they're not capable of remembering single item order. They mess up everything, you never get what you ask for. They're not reliable which doesn't pay off when you want them to book you a taxi to the airport. Ordering at the restaurant is 5 round process of reminding them what you asked for and then they bring something completely else anyway.

Pros: just as normal
Cons: not much activity during the staying
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice resort. Crystal clear, private beach. We stayed in Oct in a 3 bed room villa, and practically have the whole beach to ourselves. Very peaceful and enjoyable. Everywhere we went, from theme park, water park etc to restaurant there was no Q so it’s great. Foods at restaurant is good too.
Cons: Staffs at airpot who handles transport to resort are not well trained, make us walked back and forth 3 times in order to get into the bus, because there was no coordination between the person who checked the list and the one who supposed to bring us to the bus. They pointed us to different directions. We were tired after the connecting flights and they make us, group of 6 including 2 elders walk under the sun back and forth, quite frustrating.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: You’ve got everything you need for a perfect holiday. The staff was helpful and nice. Diversity in entertainment. The tuk-tuk services were very convenient. Free airport shuttle service.
Cons: The Akoya spa was an amazing place but the massage skill left room for improvement.

Cons: Some applied changes are not great. Some issues were presented i terms of food and service quality. Also, several applied changes are not great.

Pros: Big and new facilities. Can use Vin pearl resort swimming pool. Nice views.
Cons: Cushions on sofa smell really bad. Limited variety of restaurants and activities.Buffet menu seems to focused for local people than foreighn customers.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean good food good service
Cons: None
5.8 Okay
Pros: Beautiful hotel and rooms
Cons: There is nothing to do when is raining. We payed extra money for entrance in water park and safari but we couldn’t go there. The hotel doesn’t have indoor pool. At least we went to the spa, but we were allowed to stay there only 30 min. and separately (jacuzzi for men, another for women even we were only 2 of us there) Staff doesn’t speak English, there was a lot of misunderstandings due to language barrier mostly with ladies at front desk. They were pretty rude and not welcoming at all. Empty minibar! In room service menu are no drinks, no snack, nuts, chips etc. only pizza and some local food. It’s too far from the airport, due to heavy rain the road was very dangerous and full of water and potholes. It’s a nice hotel but doesn’t have service of 5* hotels, unfortunately because of employees.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is pretty far from the airport and the city center, but they provide free shuttle from there to the resort so i couldn't find it uncomfortable. They had mostly everything in the resort so you will be happy to stay.
Cons: Basically there is no proper mart in the region so you need to be prepared for your stay. 2 mini marts had some stuff(drinks, liquors, food, etc.) but you won't have many choices. The restaurants were okay enough for a day or two, but you will get sick of 'em soon. Almaz(shopping and eatery zone, a minute away from the building) has some places to look around but it wouldn't meet your expectation for sure.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I like the modern design of the place. And the unlimited access to the safari and the themed park was suitable for families like us. Although it was the busiest time of the year, the staff was always helpful and effective.
Cons: There was a problem with the cable TV.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beach hotel
Cons: Same Breakfast everyday
5.0 Okay
Pros: Pool & Water Park fantastic, breakfast good, rooms great size, beautiful grounds, staff friendly & helpful. Close to Safari & Vinpearland.
Cons: Room service was very slow in response to delivery of food to room ( 40 mins for dessert) Food order wrong - only 1 dessert delivered instead of 3 4 x phone calls received to room each time to notify unable to place order ,nothing left so we did not worry about getting anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Better than I expected, it deserved 5 stars.
6.7 Good
Pros: Easy to go to Vinpearl land and safari with free pickup and drop off service. Included breakfast was OK.
Cons: Most staff members couldn't speak and understand English. Some of them even just went away from us when we asked something in English.

Pros: We loved our room, the food, the location & the staff!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with very nice staff always kind and willing to please. The swimming pool and beach are amazing. The building very beautifully.
Cons: Too many kids! The kids would wake up very early and start to run and make noise around 7am! The hotel should have a floor/area without kids for people who wants to rest.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and our villa far exceeded our expectations
Cons: Only disadvantage is that it’s so far away from the rest of Phu Quoc but still plenty to do around the resort
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful colonial style hotel, spacious and beautiful ocean view four-bedroom villa, spacious kids club, nice breakfast buffet line,
Cons: Too troublesome at the breakfast place - everyone needs to show the keycard in order to have breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great location. Fantastic pool and gym facilities.
Cons: It rained for most of the time we were there, there were leaks everywhere, so slippery. There was only one restaurant opened, but had to walk to another building, so always got wet Need to restrict gym to adults only, there were kids running around unsupervised while their mother was exercising, very dangerous not to mention annoying as the kids were bouncing the gym ball next to me and knocked over my water, so I had to stop my exercise to clean up the spillage.

Pros: We're really glad to have chosen Eco Beach instead of a resort next to the busy and crowded areas. Super friendly staff, clean and full of little details that made our stay just perfect. Thanks to the whole team! We'll definitely come back.

Pros: Everything! Amazing stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome place to stay! Staff were really attentive and friendly, cute bungalows, great facilities and location, and an awesome sunset!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The people working in the property -like in most places in Vietnam- were very nice and helpful. The room was big and the bathroom was very roomy and beautiful with a small garden in. The swimming pool of the hotel was really nice.
Cons: Being there during the wet season, the whole hotel felt a bit abandoned and semi-working. The only facility actually working was the restaurant in the top of the hotel, while both the beach bar and restaurant were not working. There were some works going on causing a bit of noise. As I read in other reviews, the beach is nice but you cannot really swim as there are big rocks blocking the way in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Superb seaview, private beach and infinity pool. Breakfastchoices are broad, and a lot of delicious options for lunch and dinner. Staff is very helpful!
Cons: Shuttle service is limited, so make sure you communicate with them clearly. Prices are generally higher than what our used to in Vietnam (around 200VND for a meal) but worth it.

3.8 Mediocre
Cons: We stayed in Eco Beach for 5 nights between September 29th to October 4th 2019. The resort offers free kayaks for guests. We got a couples kayak and rowed our way for 30 minutes into the open sea. After a while I started noticing the kayak is getting heavy and starting to sink, at first we thought its just water on on the top but after we rolled it to empty the water we noticed we cant sit on it again without it rolling over and submerging. After 20 minutes in the sea trying to get back on top and row back to shore we finally understood the kayak can't be saved and it's about time to start thinking about out lives instead. We swam for another 20 minutes in the open sea when its already getting dark, we were lucky that the sea was calm that day and we didn't hit any currents that could easily drafted us further into the ocean. We arrived exhausted and bruised to the beach with our lives. After an hour some fisherman brought back the kayak to the shore, when I examined it close i saw 2 big cracks in the underside of the kayak, cracks that don't look nothing like a rock that hit it but rather something that was there for a long time before we even took it. Instead of taking responsibility he proceeded to try to make a point that we are the ones responsible because we rowed too far and as far as he was concerned we might hit a rock and caused the damage ourselves. The managers response was insulting to say the least, he risks his guests life by neglecting the maintenance of the kayaks he so gladly offers and refuses to take any responsibility. From all this experience the managers attitude and response were the most problematic in my opinion. He didn't seem to understand the severity of the matter at all. We were lucky to get out of this resort alive.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent and very friendly. The resort was well maintained
Cons: It was unfortunate that the weather was not good during our stay and the resort is a bit remote but the staff made our stay pleasant.

Pros: Staff very friendly. Let us leave our bags after we checked out and even arranged a shower for us before leaving for the airport
7.9 Good
Pros: The swimming pool is very nice and clean, a great place to pose some photos. The resort is small but beautiful design. Visitors can feel peaceful and comfortable. The host always tries to show hospitality.
Cons: Room facilities are rather simple, may be lower than my expectations as a 3 stars resort. If the bathroom can be upgraded, I must say “I Love all about here”. The theme is closed to the nature, so we have some insects and mosquitos to be friends. Breakfast buffet is rather simple. You may be full after that, but it’s hard to give a complement.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room had a great balcony and pool view. Was clean, light and airy. Beautiful pool and very quiet. Breakfast was great. Make sure you turn right out of the property and head to the bit of beach with “Joe’s Beach Bar” to watch the amazing sunset.
Cons: If you rent a motorbike make sure you give it a test drive before you leave the property. The bike we rented looked fine on inspection but after a few minutes of driving started going side to side and felt really dangerous. We decided to go back and return it but the staff member said that they would only give us a new bike as a one-off favour and it should really be our job to fix it. We’d also filled the broken bike up with petrol just after driving out of the property so we lost our money for that. It might be better to rent a bike from a proper rental shop where the bikes are properly serviced.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place with excellent service! The rooms and the pool are just perfect, and (apart from the ac inside) they even have a fan on the ceiling of your terrace.. what a great idea! Apart from the room, the service was very professional. The staff was nice and helpful. There was something not correct with the bill but she immediately corrected it after we showed her our booking on booking.com. And the most important thing: we booked 5 nights but could only stay 4- we arrived 1 day later due to sickness.. they totally understood and made no problem changing the booking to 4 nights. Now that is professional! They really put the client first. Stay here!!!!
Cons: Nothing, everything was good. Allright maybe they should add fruitsalad & yoghurt to the breakfast menu. But then I’m being really picky :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was Vietnamese and well prepared; the staff was very helpful with the organising of tickets and renting of scooters. The pool area is well thought out, quiet and has sun deck chairs, all facilities are clean and well maintained.
Cons: The beach to the South is currently affected by construction work of another hotel; however, there is a nice beach to the North in 500m walking distance.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The employee is super friendly. Love the atmosphere there, so quiet and comfort bed for relax. There is a free Bike to use if you want to go somewhere that near the place. Oc sen beach bar is next to it.
Cons: The breakfast was not very rich. You have to move about 15 minutes to be able to reach town. Because there's nothing to eat around, you have to spend money on a taxi to go to town to eat
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was SO amazing, always present always there for any of our needs, conciergerie was absolutely marvellous, it was the best host we had in our 3 weeks trip
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed here for 6 nights as a break from 7 weeks of hectic travelling. Ana and her staff couldn’t do enough for us. Their motto is ‘always please the customer’ and this really showed. Food was made to our tastes (we are vegan and veggie), we had help with day trips and other advice. The pool area is stunning and relaxing. The site is spotlessly clean - from the pathways, to the restaurant, to the kitchen. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds and large bathrooms - good shower too. Thank you Ana!
Cons: We didn’t Like that we had to leave!

Pros: The food was wonderful and the staff incredible. The location is unbelievably beautiful.
Cons: This place doesn’t have a/c or a pool, but that’s part of the point and it’s unique beauty. It has the best beach so there’s no need for a pool and the eco cabins make it a very special experience, but in terms of comfort, this place isn’t for everyone. We loved it, but we weren’t looking more for a unique experience than for the lap of luxury.

Pros: We had a wonderful 5 nights at Mango Bay. The villas are beautiful and all the facilities are kept very clean (including the beach and water). There is also so much to do - from yoga to paddle boarding - together with an excellent spa and restaurant. We would highly recommend!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a delight. Best brekkie. Beautiful beach. Very rustic and lovely atmosphere. Great getaway.
Cons: Don t stay in the Verandah rooms if you get annoyed with other guests. I ll choose another room for next time, a private bungalow. The Verandah room can be a it noisy if your neighbors are load.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, if not the best ever. The concept is absolutely amazing, they really made every effort to make this place eco-friendly. They even gave us a free upgrade! The accommodation is beautiful, made of natural materials, comfortable and an only one-minute walk from a cozy beach. The shower outside feels great. Even though we traveled in the rain season, I barely got bitten by mosquitos as the anti-mosquito net worked pretty well, there are fumigators in the room and free anti-mosquito spray. The room service is twice a day, as in the evening they come to put the anti-mosquito net down and light up the fumigators. Service is flawless, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Free yoga in the morning, fantastic food (with herbs and veggies grown at the resort). Having breakfast on the beach is the best way :) The Spa is pretty good as well and very cheap. The resort is so peaceful, a perfect place to rest and unwind. If you want to get closer to nature and relax, this resort is what you need. But mind that there are no AC/fridge/phone in the bungalow. They did it intentionally to reduce the waste of energy. And insect

Pros: Restauranton the beach is awesome...simply spectacular...kudos to chef who creates magic with food....spending timeon the beach is the best part...they have free kayaking and cycling....
Cons: Our room was a huge cottage which was at the far end of the property...and there is no phone to call the reception or the restaurant....Bathroom is open style and lot of bugs were coming in...

Pros: We loved our stay at Mango Bay. The resort was in a superb location and is super beautiful. Pros: Absolutely amazing hotel with friendly, helpful staffs.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel at a great location. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for and more. A wonderful romantic getaway. The food is among the best we had in our 3 week Vietnam trip
Cons: This is no particular fault of the hotel but Vietnam and Phu Quoc in general: there is plastic trash everywhere. It pollutes the ocean and the beaches. Vietnamese people like to blame Thailand or Cambodia but there is little willingness to take responsibility or action. You only get small plastic bottles and bags everywhere. Even poor African countries like Uganda and Rwanda are further developed in their environmental concerns. If tourism is to grow at the rate it is in Phu Quoc it has to become more sustainable!

Pros: nothing
Cons: I book a room for my friends take there wedding photo but they say we have to pay more 3times the money that we have to, it mean up to villa not just a room if we want to take a photoshoot in there resort. Pros: Ancarine Beach Resort, and the entire island of Phu Quoc is a beautiful place to stay. The staff was amazing during our entire stay. They arranged transportation for us including a pickup from the airport and a trip to the ferry pier when we left. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, everyone was friendly, pleasant, and eager to help. The beach at Ancarine Beach Resort is hard to beat. This hotel occupies the best portion of that seemingly private beach as well (better than neighbor properties Mango Bay and Sea Sense) and is better laid out on the beach with rooms closer to the water as well. The sunsets at this property are to die for. Our beach bungalow was perfect. We loved being able to walk right out onto the beach and our proximity to the pool and restaurant for breakfast. There are also nearby restaurants and shops within walking or biking distance (with bikes being available free of charge). We enjoyed the available paddle board as well.
Cons: Their restaurant has good ingredients and big portions with friendly service, but the food is a bit bland. Breakfast was actually decent and probably the best of the meal options (and included in our room rate) but the 2 dinners we had on site were only so-so. As with much of Vietnam, the front desk staff did speak seemingly limited English as well, so just be prepared. This is still overall a great place to stay and there are several cheap, excellent restaurants nearby. If Ancarine could figure out their kitchen situation, and offer better food, this would be a 10 out of 10 place to stay in Phu Quoc. We would also love it if they offered snorkeling gear (even if for rent), then that would put this place over the top.

Pros: Wow!!! The best hotel in Vietnam! Great location, amazing private beach! Great room, clean with a lot of space. Very good breakfast with a lot of options. The restaurant at the hotel very good, a lot of choices, reasonable prices, and tasty! But the most important thing is the staff!!! Everyone smiles all the time, always there for you! Great pool as well, and they give you thd option to take kayak.
Cons: They worked on solar energy and sometimes the water in the shower is cold. It's OK, but it's important to write it at they're hotel descriptions.

Pros: The quiet stay. Everthing really. i came home really relaxed.
Cons: Distance from town was a bit of a problem. It can get very hot. I have read a few reviews suggesting a small golf buggy shuttle to town. That would be a great idea.

Pros: We loved staying at Ancarine. In fact, we didn’t leave the whole 3 days we were there! The room was comfortable and clean. The beach was so beautiful and the staff picked up any rubbish that washed up. People seemed to come from elsewhere on the island as the beach was so good. The free breakfast was all you can eat a la carte. Happy hour with delicious cocktails. My only negatives were the use of plastic straws when they had reusable bamboo ones readily available and the food was quite bland. We had dinner at Mango Bay resort next door all 3 nights and the food there was spectacular. Lunch at Ancarine was nothing special at all. I had a ‘Vietnam massage’ which was very good and they had a 20% off deal while we were there. All in all, definitely recommend!!! We could have stayed longer.
Cons: Use of plastic straws. The food was a bit bland, especially compared to Mango Bay next door.

Pros: Staff was really nice! Beach was beautiful and so were the rooms
Cons: Breakfast could be improved (and I’m easy to please usually)

Pros: Friendly and staff keep beach clean
Cons: Loved it all
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We really loved the place. The beach is just perfect and clean! Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Really nice that you are in such a quiet part of the island, but also have many good restaurants nearby (walking, using the free bicycles or rent a scooter). We would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Cons: The only thing was that the cleaning ladies left the door open when cleaning; not so smart as there are many mosquitoes on the island: every day we had to hunt for 5 or 6 mosquitoes in our room again...

Pros: It was an awesome stay. The weather was pretty rainy due to rain season but welcoming staff made us forget about it. The territory of the hotel is quite big and looks amazing both in the evening and during the daytime. The breakfast has a lot to choose from: fruits, continental breakfast, toasts, cereals, local cousine, etc. Even when we had a problem with a rental scooter (We rented it in a shop near another hotel, the woman who gave us the scooter wasnt there when we wanted to return it. Our flight was at 6 am in the morning the next day and she had my passport.) the staff helped us all the way. They tried to call this woman, helped us communicate with her neighbours to find out where she is. One of the staff members even waited with us for her for several hours. The name of the staff member was Thi (hope I wrote it correctly), thanks, man.
