facilitys excellent location great easy to get to transport to city centre
Affordable and well-run. The Duo is not in the quaint old center of town, but it's reasonably priced and easy to get to on the metro. The drain in our bathtub was quirky, but other than that, all the amenities were fine. I'd like to single out the people at the front desk, especially Lucie, for patiently helping us sort out our arrangements. Drain in the tub was hard to figure out and hard to operate.
Simple and clean. Very good connection to downtown. Metro station 200m. 15 Mins to city centre.
Price Breakfast needs improvement.
great atmosphere, beautifull surrounding, lots of facilities, beautifull restaurant corners, free pick up to Ladvi subway, nice stuff
it's close to PVA exhibition center rooms not so clean
We enjoyed our staying at this hotel: proper room, nice decorated, pleasant breakfast. It's far away from the downtown, but easy to reach by subway: the station is very close.
Facilities, bar, food prices, sauna, pool
swimming pool , bowling alley, metro just outside hotel excellent
Great location and excellent value for the price we paid. We enjoyed their breakfasts very much. Many tour groups so that could be noisy. Super slow elevator.
I've stayed at this hotel a few times over the years, but they've done some renovations since the last time. It is very nice now! The beds were very soft, with hypoallergenic pillows on request (or feather down if you prefer). Mini fridge and coffee station/kettle in the room. We ordered the 'breakfast included' room, which was excellent, full English breakfast, plus an assortment of cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt, and breads. The restaurant also serves other meals, had excellent Czech cuisine there on a previous visit. There is a large, well-appointed lounge area, cafe, souvenir shop, money exchange, pool, exercise room, and more. Honestly, if you're traveling on business you wouldn't even need to leave the hotel. (But you really should go out and see the city!) I get to Prague 3-6 times a year. Given the quality for the price, I will definitely be staying here from now on! Directions (avoid taxis when possible they rip off tourists): From the train station It is located right near the Underground/Subway/Metro. Very convenient. If you are taking the train in, from Praha hlavní nádraží (Main Station), you can catch the metro from the station (just go downstairs one floor from the train platforms, and you should see the entrance). Take the C Line 'Letňany' to the hotel. The stop is 'Střížkov' and it is the 6th stop from the main railway station. When you get there, go upstairs. There are two exits. Go out the exit that says 'Hotel Duo' above the door. From there, go right out the door, to the corner. You will see the hotel across the street on the left but back a bit from the main road, it's big. From the airport Go out of the terminal and you will see some bus stops, catch the Airport Express to the main railway station, it will leave you outside the station front. Go in and downstairs (from the main entrance I believe it's two floors down) until you see the metro entrance, then follow the directions above.
Hotel shuttle van to metro was convenient. In 2008 there will be a metro stop right across the street! Get to breakfast early or selection is not as good.
The Step Complex has many facilities for doing a lot of sports (swimming, bowling, tennis, squash, fittness, etc).
Nice and clean rooms very noise from train
very cheap. nice breakfast very far from the center of the town and even from the means of transport.
5/6 Storeys stairs must be climbed up to reach the hotel reception, with a piece of luggage, it is very exhausting.
Good price, good wellness facilities. There are so few puplic transport nearby, a railway nearby, poor breakfast.
The hotel was very modern and clean. The breakfast was OK. The wellness services were not included in the price. The hotel staff could not speak English at all (the receptionist a little bit).
Nice personnel, good price/quality ratio, good facilities (money exchange, souvenir store, hotel bar, pool/bowling bar, sauna, gym) Some noise from the nearby passing trains; the carpet was stained
nice lobby, possible to play bowling , tennis. fair size room. good brakfast ( but the same everyday). close to metro , 20 min walk+metro to town Restaurant staff can not speak any language but czech. Constraction site near hotel , situated close to big roads
Sauna World, good car parking (in centrum i cant park the MB sprinter bus, because it is too high or too long car) Breakfast could be better!
Breakfast and cleaning. The train station is near may dusturb during the night.
everyone was helpful & pleasant
Yes, everything was excelent. The location is lovely, only 6 metro stations from down town, but was very convenient because the metro stations is under hotel, so you don not have to get out and search for it. Also, it was lovely because there is a mall at level 0 and 1 of the same building. The room was perfect, very clean, great bad, great view. The breakfast was fantastic!
Equipment, nice new furniture. Poor informations during check-in, small wellness, wellness is free of charge only till 6 p.m., without any information, expensive parking, missing vegetables on breakfast, only slow LAN internet connection is fee of charge, High Speed or Wifi is extra paid.
Metro station right under the hotel, clean room, quiet neighborhood, nice breakfast, shopping center ( includes a supermarket ) besides hotel. There was nothing to eat near or in the hotel after 10:30pm.
The best part is the metro, which is below the hotel, very convenient, perfect location within city limits.
Clean, nice people, lcd tv, pay tv, good breakfast food, I like this hotel, Big shopping center in hotel, orient food. Parking for 15 euro/night, Pool is in fenix gallery not in hotel, you have to pay 11 euro for one entrance one person for pool. Small standard double room,
big rooms, good breakfast some people at breakfast were rude
Room very confortable and very clean, good possibilities for parking, excellent location for business. Excellent restaurant. Wellness and fitness area not in the hotel but just in the same building (shopping mall) only on charge.
There was a strange noise in the room however it was fixed right away. The room smelled like cigars.
The hotel's new and has good location. Food's also good. In information was wriiten that the hotel has swimming pool but when I was there it was closed.
location not easy orientation, lack of signs, for example you need 2 different lifts to go from the room to parking, I met several confused guests who needed help where to go
Close to Metro station, quiet location in residential area. Walking distance to neighborhood restaurants and convenient stores. Family room was great with 2 young kids. Room was extremely hot, during July, no air-con so we had to sleep with windows wide open. A mini fridge would also be judicious !!!
the place of the hotel, parkingplace in the hotel swimmingpool nothing everything was perfect
big room, good cleaning, breakfast the servies in tha bar, many times there was no one in the bar and I had to go and ask if the bar was closed or opend
Friendly staff, good food. No A/C. So noisy when the windows are open.
the room is quite clean however, the neighborhood is not that impressive
nice lobby, exterior design, pool (although with limited hours), and bar rooms were a little less than pristine
The location is pretty good, if someone goes to the O2 arena The bathroom
The location was absolutely the best for attending an event at the O2 Arena. The hotel was also very well kept, very clean, and the bar and breakfast were excellent.
All was wonderful. The staff was very nice, rooms were very comfortable and clean and quiet, and metro was easy walk. Nice pool and safe parking. I Loved this hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, good breakfast Not what i expected for a three person room
The price was very reasonable, staff were friendly, nice information in the reception area - brochures, maps, activities and so on. Great location near O2 arena. Let's be honest the hotel is very basic, it's not luxury at all, but if you are travelling on a budget it will be just fine.
It was very quiet It was not very secure
Loved the location, easy access to town or local villages where we found friendly and helpful locals and prices in all the bars and restaurants. Area itself is run down but non-threatening but is also easy to get away from. The breakfast was plentiful but tailored to European rather than British taste so you need to experiment if you haven't tried this before. I personally found a liking for cold tea and pasta with salad as a breakfast, while my friends enjoyed the cakes.
Price. Location, to far from center.
Good public transportation. However, this is my suggestion. You should take metro line B and get off at Vysocanska, then take bus 136 to Sklonena station. The staff are very kind and nice. The sausage in breakfast is tasty andcrispy. nothing
Good breakfast, easy to get there, correct price Furniture, but according to price it was OK
the staff service
No,everything was fine
The reception is in a different building. Always you had to go to reception to took the key and then walk to the next building to found the room. no soap were available and they didn't clean the room at all.
Breakfast loudly neighbours, not english-spoken staff
It was quiet, the breakfast was very good. 20 minutes to the city.
