nice room and good fr the price check out time is bad 10 Am no hotel do that any where in the world usually 12 or even later
The hotel is recently built and is a part of a stadium, rooms are new and have very attractive design. Internet was free of charge in the rooms and was working properly. Parking place in front of the hotel is for free, but not guarded. Breakfast was Ok, except the coffee! Connection to the city center by tram (closest stop is 2 min. away), which took apr. 15-20 minutes. Excellent value for money! Staff could have been more service & client oriented. There were some problems with the electricity & TV. Coffee at the breakfast.
Perfect In room only cable internet
very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, good service,20minutes tram to city center.1minute walk to supermarket. breakfast is a little bit simple.
Rooms were in good shape, clean Breakfast was bad, the juice couldn't be drunk at all. A little bit noisy because is next to the football stadium and police station. However it's a good place
Friendliness of the employees not satisfactory Breakfeast rooms and service must be updated and also friendliness
Very good value for the money. Clean room, nice hotel, easy tram ride to downtown (and you can buy tram tickets at the front desk). I thought the breakfast was very good (hot and cold items). Nice mall with restaurants right next door. Room was pretty small and the TV didn't work. Check-in/check-out took a long time.
Very clean and comfortable - both - room and bathroom. Quite good city center tranfer by public transport, 20 min to National Museum by tram. On the webside they write that Wi-fi is for free - yes BUT only in lobby area. Car park is for free- Yes BUT not secured on the street which hotel is placed. Personel should learn a little bit more about service. Breakfest is only up to 10, and at 9.50 stuff has started to take food from tables , so if You will came at 9.55 You will eat nothing. Also check-out only up to 10 is to early.
Very tasty breakfasts. Good tam communication to the old city (15 min). Very good staff. Parking places ath the square at the front of the hotel with toll-gate, garage places possible (toll). Parking on the street is free of charge. Blank places usualy near hotel. In the room there was silent and warm It could be some problem with parking on the street if there is a match on the station. The hotel is the "foundation" of the station tribunes. But the hotel parking places are available.
It's hard to choose the best; there were many wonderful aspects: the friendly and helpful staff; the quiet and convenient location; the charm and character of the decor. We had such a pleasant stay, we re-booked after our week in Karlovy Vary and are returning to Hotel Villa for our final few days in Prague! Just the small climb up hill with our luggage!
10 minutes walk to metro station, very quite neighborhood. Hotel is very peaceful, nice looking exterior and interior. Hotel stuff is polite and responsive, speaks good English.
looks new and good hotel, good food in restaurant, in proximity to A-line of metro so within 10-15 minutes you're in old town
Very attractive facility in a restored villa in Prague
Clean, modern, comfortable, cosy, away from the noisy centre in a quiet nice residential area. If you don't mind 10-min underground trip from the centre and 10-min walk from the underground then this is your hotel.
Professional and friendly staff; room and bathroom were spacious; value for money. Complimentary breakfast was served between seven and nine a.m.
Very friendly atmosphere. Clean rooms and exeptional english breakfast. Not very close to downtown but easily reachable by tram. The area around its a typical district of perfiferia...i would not raccomend to lonely woman a late return to the hotel.
The best thing about the hotel is the staff, especially female staff, who were friendly and extremely helpful regarding any guidance or suggestions about the city, especially getting around on public transportation. The lobby atmosphere was very informal: I might end up having a 20-minute chat with one of the staff members about this or that, and I felt that to some extent I made friends with them. I also liked the small bar in the lobby, especially that it offered espresso. Hotel location can be a plus or a minus. It is not so convenient, but that meant that I had to begin learning immediately to get around by tram, and I think this gave me a bit more of an honest look at the life of Prague than a central, tourist-area location would. The room was small, though very clean, and the bed not very comfortable (the latter was the single biggest drawback). The location is not bad in the day, but getting back at night can be tricky. The night trams are not as convenient as the daytime ones, and one has to be careful about taxis, as it seems different companies' meters have dramatically different rates. Be sure to ask the driver the approximate fare, or stick with the 1 or 2 companies you know. The hotel has no laundry service, and there is none outside in the neighborhood; however, they were kind enough to accommodate me informally. The free breakfast ends at 9, which is a bit early if one has been out at night. WiFi in the rooms would be a great addition!
- Excelent Breakfast - Bad ubication, the hotel is in a dark street and I didnt feel safe
The help the staff are willing to give with any of your needs was first class.
The hotel was close to the turistical places.
Family suite is not acceptible for 4 adults. Sofa is terible for sleeping . Beds are hard
from the beginning we had a wonderful experience. Our flight got us into Prague at about 9 am and when we arrived at the hotel they had our room available!! The special czech breakfast was offered to us and it was really delicious!!! The staff was extremely helpful and gave us a wonderful welcome with drinks and an explanation of things to do/see and how to get around. We have visited the old restaurant "koliba" and we spent beautiful evenenig there. Our stay was excellent.
The staff was very attentive and helpful with everything from hotel services, to tourist advice, to information on riding the public transportation. The beds were a little too hard by American standards.
Very nice staff, spoke good english. The rooms presented in the pictures have nothing to do with the rooms you find there. This is no 4 stars hotel (maybe 2..), there were no facilities except free parking. The bathroom wasn't equiped as you would expect in a 4 stars hotel. First they gave us a really bad looking room that was also quite dirty then, after discussing with the staff, they changed our room with a bit better looking one, but it didn't look at all like in the pictures from the site. There were coffee stains on the carpet, the walls were dirty, everything in the bathroom was too old (ceramic tiles included). Actually the entire hotel needs to be renovated. Wi-fi didn't work properly. Too far from the city center.
very nice hotel, nice rooms, beautiful location but a bit far from the City Center (but there is a shuttle bus). Friendly people at the reception. Breakfast was delicious.
Nice rooms, good breakfast, possibility of free transport to city center Noise during weekend’s nights because of weddings happened in the hotel restaurant.
Very clean hotel, good service in general
No room service
Excellent room and very good food. Would stay again.
Great location outside of Praha - near large shopping center and V Parku which is large high-tech/international business center. Hotel was very well appointed with good continental breakfast. Room was large and accommodating. Room would have been more comfortable except it was very warm. It was cool outdoors and we slept with window as open as possible (raining hard). It was surprising our room was so warm given the hallway outside our door was also cool. We otherwise slept well after a long time on the road.
Parking is free during our one week stay the bed covers were not changed and we needed to ask repeatly for toiletpaper and towls
Staff is good. Provided me something i need. Location is far away but no problem. Two single beds instead of one big bed...
nicely situated for transport to the centre of Prague, pleasant and clean I could have done with another pillow which other hotels offer
Good breakfast, location, nice staff, good price
very friendly reception a little bit far from the subway station
wide room, quiet area, and friendly staff. breakfast was OK too. not far from city center and subway tickets are offered at the reception of the hotel. parking was not included in the hotel rate (as stated in the booking); it's a half km walk to the subway station 'Skalka', not 300m.
The breakfast was excellent and the helpful staff. No everything was to my satisfaction
Location, good breakfast
Friendly Reception. Restaurant worthy its 3 stars. Generous Breakfast.Staff at reception went out of its way to explain public transportation. They were most helpful to arrange and fulfill our requests and needs. Airconditionning in Summer would be great.Curtains in room need repair.Shower door in bath tub also needs repair. Otherwise a spacious neat room.
We met a trouble in metro. We asked the hotel reception to call police. She was very kind and called police soon. She helped us very much. If I will visit Prague again, I would stay this hotel.
Good value for money, spacious rooms, wireless internet available all around the hotel, hotel restaurant... Breakfast shold be improved
friendly & knowledgeable staffs
Very helpful English speaking staff. Secure underground car park. Conveniently located for public transport. Excellent food in informal snackbar if you wish. Superb information for tourists.
Solidarita Tram stop outside. Breakfast ok Lobby bar ok rest of hotel in need of renovation very badly worn interiors but would use again mainly due to the price and you get what you pay for.
Some of the staff was friendly. some is just horrible. This is not a 3 star hotel. Maybe 1 star hotel. The breakfast is bad, the rooms are old and smelly. Only soap in the bathroom. Internet available for free, but only in the lobby. I ordered a taxy through reception, they send me some person (not in a cab, private vehicle) claiming to be official hotel's driver and he charged me 70 cronas more than a taxi with a meter running.
Reception staff very helpful and the food from the resturant was very good .
Easy to transport, very close to city center, shops inside the hotel and ticket machine The bar is closed early on 11:00 pm.
The bar is opened up to midnight. In fact, there is the only bar around the hotel. Once in the hotel at night, there is nothing to do in the hotel's area. The hotel is really far from the city centre, in spite of being well communicated by metro and tram. Some hotel facilities (stairs, lifts, doors, ...) have not been modernized since years. The bathroom is small and bad equipped.
Not pleasure at all We asked for an extra bed, which was mentioned in the reservation, the stuff told us it is impossible and proposed to look for another hotel. Shower was not usable - disgusting, stinking corridor and very used furniture. I think the hotel should loose at least two stars.
the location to the city transfer
Breakfast was fine and had a good selection of foods. The cleaning and the restaurant (breakfast) staff is really rude and not willing at all to accommodate even the simplest requests of the guests.
The hotel and the room can't be classified as 3 stars hotel.
i was just ok. ...loud noise from construction and thin walls--i could hear all the guests in the hallways in the mornings.
Good breakfast. Accessible by public transport. Inexpensive. Information on how to get there was incomplete. Soundproofing was very poor. Large numbers of very noisy sports players staying there, some with very gross behaviour.
distance to metro building works - woke me up both mornings at 8am
tipical ex communist hotel
