Modern comfort in an old historic house overlooking the medieval stone bridge and a romantic square on an island in the middle of the Vltava river is a winning combination. Go for it if you can. Not suitable for handicapped travellers

Excellent value for the money. The room was large, modern, and comfortable. The location is perfect: it is just a 5-10 min. walk from the touristy center, but because it is ACROSS the river from it, the place is very quiet. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. I would definitely stay there again. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your bags up the stairs. It wasn't a problem for me, but if you can't do that you will have to ask for help. The air conditioner in the room worked well in the lower part, but the bed was in a loft area a whole level up, and it was hot there. It didn't bother me, but if you may want to ask for a room that's all on one level.
