Hong Kong hotels near Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

Cons: We dined in the top floor restaurant Above and Beyond and had the Peking Duck set menu with a wine pairing. Here, unfortunately, the highly attentive service became intrusive and absurd. For example, someone comes every minute to check on your table and rather than a casual glance this check includes a careful study. The servers would often jump in to do something unnecessary and pointless such as turning the water bottle so that the label faces you or randomly realigning items on the table in a fussy manner. And if you had the temerity to top off your own water glass, someone would jump in and grab the bottle form your hand. Aside form the overbearing service, the meal was only okay. The duck was tasty, but most of the other flavors were no more than ordinary. And the wine pairings were similarly undistinguished. Considering that the meal (at HKD 2000) was by far the most expensive one we had in 4 days in Hong Kong, it was a very poor value for money. I recommend going elsewhere despite the high rating this place receives on Trip Advisor.

Cons: One of the staffs was rude probably because of my Chinese face and let me waiting for 7-8 minutes before serving me while he was doing nothing...Then, when he heard me speaking English, he apologized... This is very unacceptable!

Cons: Housekeeping did not provide fresh bath mat often enough. They did not provide face clothes or other bathroom extras for my room. Whereas my friends' room was stocked w/the usual bathroom extras everyday. Worse part of stay was being awaken at 8am everyday by their renovation noises. Airport shuttle stop was 2 short blocks away, not in front of the hotel.

Cons: The standard rooms are the typically small size which is good if you are on a budget and don't mind being squished up a bit. Book a larger room such as Premier or better if you need more space.

Cons: Wifi signal in room was so weak. Nearly unusable.

Cons: We had a great stay, but a lot of it was due to promotions. Our room had free wifi and we had a special rate since I booked far ahead of time. The wifi signal could be stronger, and the TV channels were a bit limited. There was construction next to the hotel, which somewhat took away from the otherwise nice view of the harbor. The view did have a highway between the room and harbor though, so don't go in expecting a harborfront room.

Cons: My only complain: the room carpet! It need a renovation quickly. It damages all the room look&feel, as well as the overall experience as its showing signs of wearing out and looks just kind of filthy (even though it might be “clean”).

Cons: A little bit out of things, although they is an MTR station 5 minutes walk away. The area around the hotel isn't the smartest, although it seems perfectly safe.

Cons: I arrived to the hotel at 16:00 after long flight and they told me that my room is not ready and that I will have to wait until 22:00 for room!

Cons: Slow wifi and room is small. Reaching the lobby will need to go up 2 floors with an escalator that fit a person only.

Cons: The walls weren't the cleanest because of scratch from luggages. The shower tub should have a curtain or a sliding door to prevent water from spraying out. The desk in the room should be change so that it isn't awkward.

Cons: Problem was with Kayak Over charged me for the room. List price and what you charged me were different . When I first questioned it you told me that some times happens. People use services like yours to get a better deal and when we get their we find out your rates are higher than regular hotel rates.

Cons: Shower is too open. Water gets all over the floor.
