Pros: A truly spectacular property, beautifully fitted, with attentive, friendly but not overly intrusive staff. Amsterdam is a great place to visit; this hotel is almost reason enough on its own. I stayed there twice on the same trip. The first time we upgraded to a suite, and it was beautiful, really a place to relax in and feet at home. The second stay I was alone and had a regular room. It was tiny, but entirely functional. Both rooms were street facing with large windows. The bar is lovely, as well. Be sure to try one (or two or three) of their great gin and tonics.

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Large, spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would happily book again.
Cons: Driver (booked through the hotel) consistently on not 1, but 2 phones while on the way to the airport. I ordered room service on my first night. When it didn't arrive after an hour I called down to the front desk to be told the order was never placed. To be fair, not a massive issue and can happen in any hotel.

Located in Amsterdam’s Latin Quarter—the stylish and diverse De Pijp district—Sir Albert is the perfect launch spot to the Albert Cuypmarket and beyond. Books. Prints. Designer fashion. Designer plants. Your Euros can find many creative and inspired ways to leave you. But, you’ll return home with some of that vibrancy only our unique little hood (cue bike bells) can deliver. We win. You win. Everybody wins. With high ceilings and large windows, rooms at Sir Albert merge historic detail with clean, modern style. We are dead serious about cleanliness, so each room is outfitted with rainforest showers and DEAD CLEAN toiletries to clean up for big nights out. And Sir signature bedding featuring 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton linens will be your dreamy playground for big nights in.

Pros: We loved the room (even knowing that it was the smallest room), the staff was good, location is great - not in the middle of the tourist sightseeing which we prefer, but very easy to walk around and with metro nearby if needed. For us the rate was expensive, considering that the breakfast was not included. Overall great weekend in this hotel!

Pros: Amsterdam is so small there is no reason to stay in the middle of all the touristy stuff. This place was in a quiet area, yet close to everything. Clean, comfortable, with helpful staff. Did not try their Japanese restaurant but it was packed every night and apparently has a good reputation. I would say this is a more "grownup"/sophisticated hotel. They rent out average bikes, which are a few € more expensive than the rental place down the street, but it's more convenient than the rigmarole of leaving 50€ cash per bike + a copy of your ID.

Pros: Good location.
Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable as big dip in mattress. Eventually they swapped our room but no apology and it felt like it was a real inconvenience. Work was also being undertaken on facade of hotel which meant scaffolding was erected in front of the room window- there was no note of this when booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room and view from the top floor. We were very warmly welcomed by staff upon arrival and were given helpful recommendations and help with booking tickets
Cons: Unfortunately the building was clad in scaffolding during our stay. Bath / shower towels are also very small and could be bigger to fit the high standard of the rest of the room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the room (even knowing that it was the smallest room), the staff was good, location is great - not in the middle of the tourist sightseeing which we prefer, but very easy to walk around and with metro nearby if needed. Cons:

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Over priced in my opinion. 40-50 min walk from centre. The heating blows out air now and then which is loud and kept waking me up during the night.

Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and meant we could walk everywhere, we could see the canal and Rijksmuseum from our window. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately there was scaffolding up during our stay and a workman appeared at our window! This was all explained in a letter in our room and we accepted that the work was unavoidable.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff was accommodating.
Cons: The heat was terrible in the room. Freezing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff was very helpful. Bath products and bedding was very nice.
Cons: Outlet for coffee machine didn't work, had to make coffee in bathroom sink. Top floor room was designed poorly with very short ceilings in corners and hard to access outlets.
7.0 Good
Pros: Prosecco treat, ambiance of the whole hotel, location is the best for our interests, coffee machine, glass waterbottle, bluethoot speaker/radio divice, like the bed but not the pillows too high no alternative when asked
Cons: Stayed here and Parkhotel many many times but everytime i had to remind the reception we are frequenter. Sometimes some rooms are a suprise in a negative way. Usually very nice rooms. Cause the decoration is dark/black the fluff stands out after the cleaning up if it is shortcutted. Both pillows are too high, no alternative option available when asked.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff Great restaurant at the main floor
Cons: Having the sink in the open and right infront of the bed is a bit annoying if you’re more than one in the room. Quite a distance to center if you’re walking.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The bed was good. The room was quiet. The location is good. The manager of the business center (Hildegard) was very helpful.
Cons: I am lifetime Platinum and stayed three nights (paying cash). The front desk gave me a very small basic room. It was very uncomfortable. There was only one drawer for clothing. The closet was tiny. There was no desk (but they brought up a temporary desk at my request, and apparently a lot of guests request them.). The executive lounge was very crowded and very noisy with literally no place to sit down. This is because no one checks the credentials of visitors, so it seems that half of the guest at the hotel went there every day for breakfast and evening snacks. There was no way to hang laundry to dry in the shower area of the bathroom. The WiFi was awful--kept shutting down.

Cons: The hostel has great potential, but unfortunately I thought it wasn’t very well managed. Kitchen area is slightly cramped and is not open for breakfast.

Pros: Nice location, almost in the centre
Cons: It's absolutely not worth the money. My room was super cold despite it being the beginning of November and not winter at all, I had to sleep in my whole attire and with scarf around the neck. Toilets are so tiny as if they were built in the air cabin and on top of everything there was no hot water. :( It is very easy to fall ill in such a place.

Pros: Perfect location, 5 minute walk from the main tram line makes it easy to get anywhere in Amsterdam. The hotel is less than 50m from Vondelpark but also near other attractions. The hotel itself could not be more accommodating, we stayed for an anniversary trip and had the room upgraded free of charge. The staff are so attentive and will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are very comfortable.

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful . They help set up tours for us as well as provided any information we needed for our trip. It was modern and very clean. In a great location for site seeing but a tad far from the middle of the city which didn't bother us
Cons: Nope!
6.5 Good
Pros: it was fine in all ways.
Cons: It is listed as a 4 star hotel. I would disagree, it is a solid three. Amsterdam is a special city and this hotel is large and not terribly unique. I would stay somewhere smaller and possibly nicer given the chance to do it again.

Pros: Room was a good size and very modern.
Cons: Staff was very disorganized upon my arrival: first, they placed me, a disabled traveler, in a room requiring stairs. Then they found another room after some delay. No one seemed to care one way or the other. I expect better from a 4-star.
Beautifully refurbished in 2019, Park Centraal is perfectly suited for travelers looking for close proximity to culture, contemporary design and elegant cuisine in the heart of Amsterdam. Enjoy high-tech essentials, a 24-hour gym, an in-house parking garage and complimentary WiFi.
Park Centraal is ideal for travelers interested in museums, culture and sightseeing. Set in the high-end district of Oud-Zuid, hotel guests are minutes away from the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, Vondel Park and the lively Leidse Square. Guests can also take fantastic canal walks directly from the hotel along the Singelgracht. The area is also great for shopping, with popular brands like Apple, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Hermès and Ralph Lauren nearby.
Max Brown Museum Square is situated in four typical Amsterdam Townhouses in the Jan Luykenstraat. This largely residential neighborhood distinguishes itself with beautiful tree-lined streets and gorgeous 19th-century architecture. There is no place in Amsterdam where you will find an area with so much style and allure. Not only is The Museum Quarter (the neighborhood around Museum Square) famous for its impressive collection of museums & galleries, but it’s also a bursting forth with shops, cafes, bars & restaurants everywhere.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: We were in room 12 on the ground floor. Noise from early every day. Thin walls. Struggled to sleep. The pillows were the fat but squishy kind that are big but offer no support for your neck. The washroom was really basic. After 3 days we were getting really sick of this place. Especially as it's not exactly cheap (because of the great location).

Pros: Good hotel, nice area quite good value for money
Cons: I think they made a mistake and changed me for the taxes twice and the specific employee at the reception could not give me a receipt for the money I paid, he said he would ask someone to send me the invoice later but It was just the receipt for the room without the extra money I paid. Cons: I do not think if I did not take a cab, it would be easy to walk with huge luggage to the hotel location from the subway. The hotel room carpet was quite stained in some areas, looked a bit dirty. But the bathroom was neat and clean.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was helpful with restaurant suggestions and making a reservation for us. We enjoyed being close to the museums while still in walking distance (of about 1/2 hour) to other attractions.
Cons: The room (which was upgraded) was just ok. No drawers for clothing. The floor lamp could be turned off only by unplugging it. The safe was somewhat hard to reach, making it harder to ensure that nothing was left behind.

Pros: Clean.
Cons: Room very, very dated for a 4 star hotel.

Pros: The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable. At the last floor, where an entire wall is of glass, even if it looks nice, it gets cold during the night. The stuff wasn’t particulary great. They were just ok. The furniture looks old and the free wifi is very slow.

Cons: The walls were a little thin and we had a room with a window on the street so we heard a lot of people walking by at night both outside the hotel and inside the hotel. The TV was mounted on a wall next to the bed, rather than facing the bed, so that was a little awkward.

Pros: This place is interesting in that you get your own little Hobbit-hole. I had a great stay in my little house, privacy and comfort. The robes you get are super plushy and warm! The bathroom was super clean and spacious. The little bar downstairs was cute and had a little bit of everything for a reasonable price. The front-desk staff was super nice and welcoming! I felt totally safe here as there is a coded entryway. Stay here for easy access to the Museumplein sights and all the trams! There is a bus that goes straight to the airport (397 towards Leidsplein), no central station madness to deal with. As a solo traveler I absolutely loved this neighborhood, everything within walking distance!

Cons: Cost rocketed after initial view on booking.com even though hotel was half empty. It should have been a lot cheaper. Some other guests were inconsiderate to loud on arrival for a long time on one night only and you can’t get away from that type of noise, though it was completely fine on other nights.
Cons: It is capsules and what that means is, wooden rooms stacked on top of each other. Don't expect to stand up or move too much in your "room" it is definitely cozy. I had some loud neighbors move upstairs on my last night and it ruined it for me a bit. There was a brooding man walking around, not sure if he was a manager but it was off-putting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super helpful, the hotel was in an amazing location. The capsules were very clean .
Cons: You could hear people coming in at 11pm and they were quite noisy. It wasn't as soundproof as I thought.

Cons: If I’m being picky the safe in the room didn’t work and I usually like to leave my passport and money in the safe. Check in is at 2pm so if you get into Amsterdam on an early flight you have a few hours before you can go into your room but they let you leave your luggage in a closet so it’s not the end of the world

Pros: This hotel is in a great location if you want to explore Amsterdam. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and takes under 10 minutes to get to Dam Central by bus or tram. It's also next door to a number of great museums.
Cons: I did not like the breakfast, there wasn't enough hot options for food. I've had continental breakfasts before, from other hotels, which included bacon, eggs and beans but this only had scrabbled egg. The signal on our TV was very bad. We had limited channels due to this and the picture quality was bad which made it hard to watch. We only used the TV at night time, before going to bed as we were out all day, so this didn't affect our stay very much. However, we booked this hotel as it mentions a flat-screen TV and were disappointed that this couldn't be watched properly.

Pros: The location is good.
Cons: The room offered neither a good view nor privacy. I could see people outside every morning working on pipes/water tanks. Even after requesting the receptionist for a better room, I was given a similar room. Definitely not worth the price.

Pros: Clean and nice room Good location
Cons: The first room we were given was a corner room facing 2 busy streets. The street noise was unacceptable. We paid for a deluxe room but this one had only a double bed in it. After strongly complaining we were move to an inside room that had a King bed it in. This room was very nice.

Pros: It was in a really good location. With a tram stop near and coffee shops as well as some restaurants.
Cons: The rooms and toilet were dirty. The bathroom doors would not lock. On the last night I found a guy sleeping in my bed. Staff were not friendly.
6.5 Good
Pros: Price was cheapest in Amsterdam, and I had a large tv on the wall.
Cons: Staff didn't know much about area and sights, very small rooms and hard bed.

Pros: Nice location about twenty minute walk from centre , staff friendly, comfortable beds and clean room, really cheap compared to a lot of other hotels/hostels. Private bathroom. Interior paint work etc slightly worn but for the price doesn’t effect me. Didn’t try breakfast but was good price.€7

Pros: Excellent location Hot showers with great pressure Beds were very comfy No sign of ants
Cons: Staff very unfriendly Building work going on during our stay, builders were walking about smoking inside the building throughout the day No kettle in room, there was a coffee machine which you had to pay to use in reception area Toilet leaked continuously during our stay Heating could not be accessed or adjusted,it was either have it on or staff could turn it off No remote for the TV Room was tiny No sound proofing could hear people snoring in next room Lift did not work properly, on one occasion it got stuck between floors. Used the alarm button to call for help & no staff responded

Pros:
Cons: The room was so hot
8.0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: I think a kettle in the room would be a decent move. The coffee machine produces so-so quality drinks and €1 for a cup of hot water is mean! Despite that I had an enjoyable stay.
