Even though we arrived early, we were able to check in. The hotel is near a tram line, only a 10 minute walk. Room was very quiet.
Very nice hotel for very good price. Huge, comfortable bed. Parking available for 16 EUR/24h. Close to RAI Convention Center. Slow elevators. Weak flow of water in bathroom - bathroom was also quite dark.
Clear and fresh renovated rooms, friendly and helpful staff, easy to reach from subway station I had to wait till 15:00 for check-in, even I asked about my early check-in previously. Extra charges for breakfast. Too expensive rates. Little bit far from the center, need to catch a taxi or get a subway train. Sewer in the shower cabin does not work properly and the water after taking shower poured out from the cabin.
The comfort and cleanliness of the room No
Good connection to downtown with metro and to vandel park with tram. It has fridge, electric kettle and iron. No air conditioner which may make it warm in summers Cleaning could be better. House keepers were not very careful with cleaning. We saw hairs on the pillows and bed.
Clean, modern, parking on site, quiet, close to train station, great restaurant on site, huge double bed, tea coffee facilities in the room None
It's modern and well facilitated Revealing My stay on twitter
The room was a bit cold for November and there was only one blanket in the room.
The standard and quality of the hotel in general. The rooms were very comfortable. The only issue with the hotel is the distance from central amsterdam but there is a metro station 5 minutes walk up the road which goes to central in about 10-15 minutes. If coming back late then a taxi should not cost more than 20 Euros.
It's quiet and relatively closed to mass transit. Some of the front desk staff were not helpful. They refused to make a call to schedule the airport shuttle bus for us.
Prompt/friendly reply from reception in case of questions Knocking/calling from housekeeping despite 'do not disturb' sign.
the position was good, tram to centre very nearby, could park for free in service road outside hotel, very comfortable bed felt breakfast could have been better quality, given cost of hotel
Room was quite spacious and modern, well deserving the star rating. Front desk staff was very helpful. The industrial neighborhood is less than appealing. Far from the city center of Amsterdam.
Ease of getting into the city of Amsterdam, location Smoke in the bar area, am used to non smoking environment.
Staff were pleasent and the rooms were clean. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was good and over a long period. In comparison to other local hotels the value couldn't be matched. Quite a long trip into the centre of town. The single beds were immediately adjacent and couldn't easily be moved apart, not great for sharing with a friend
free internet access through hotel computer. restaurant open in the evening with decent choice of menu and good food; hotel staff's willingness to accomodate my room requests
I could not fault this hotel, it was very comfortable and clean and every member of staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and it is well located with easy access to public transport. I look foward to going back.

Great location across from Oosterpark and close to the tram stop.
It was a nice hotel, well maintained, clean, and the tram was just outside. The rooms were clean, the beds were a bit soft. Nice rooms overall It was a bit far from the main touristy areas, but the Tram takes care of that issue. They don't have individually packed toiletries, I'm not a fan of dispensers. Also there is a window that lets you see into the toilet from the room.
Hotel was awesome!! Staying here was an awesome decision. Right next to a metro station, so instant access to city center and everywhere. Hotel was beautiful and everyone was wonderful. Many many amenities and great roof party!
The finishing touches here are very well and impressively done, and it makes your stay a real pleasure!
Only slept here a couple of hours, didn't had much time to enjoy the facilities, but the bar and the club looked and sounded really cool. Next time I am s\ure to enjoy those facilities to the maximum. Cool to have a stair in the room to the upper bedroom. The shower wasn't closed of from the rest of the bathroom. So I had a centimeter of water under my toilet after showering. The Airconditionig was positioned directly towards the bed, makes a noise and you have a constant cold breeze which is nice for a while, but anoying if you want to go to sleep.
The Arena is a great hotel, we spent most of our time in our room, though the lobby and grounds are impressive. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very nice, the sitting area perfect. We had floor to ceiling windows which overlooked a courtyard and that really made the room. A few nice amenities included an electric tea kettle to make coffee and tea with, a safe, a fridge and blowdryer. When we needed a converter, the front desk had one for us. The front desk also called cabs for us which came quicklly. Nice quiet neighborhood with easy access. I didn't realize the room was two floors with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs, not ideal for middle of the night trips to the restroom. There was no handrail on the steep and winding staircase. While housekeeping came everyday, they did not sweep the wood floors which I would have expected. One wall of the bathroom is the wall of the sitting area and is all black glass, which at first seems opaque, but really isn't. When it was just me and my husband in the room, no problem, but when we had visitors, it was a bit awkward.
I love the fact that the staffs are super friendly. Very nice hotel and nice high ceilings. We got a free upgrade too. I love it so much I def want to come back! I love everything about it. Nothing to complain about. the bathroom is so nice and beds too. Only downside is that they are currently doing constructions and wish we would have been informed. It gets very loud during the day but aside from that it's all good!
The design of the building and room interiors was new and refreshing to see. The staff made us feel at home straight away and if we had any questions they were more than happy to help. The only negative was that the room when we first entered was incredibly hot, and nobody told us there was an air-con unit in the room so we couldnt get comfy for a long time (until we found how to use the air-con a couple of hours later!)
The rooms were very hip and the beds were so comfortable. Really liked the slick bathrooms and the overall hotel decor
Style and design of the common spaces It was impossible to get a hair-dryer in 3 days. The standard of the room was low for the category of the hotel (even if in Amsterdam this is quite common).
The staff was great. The room was comfortable. The restaurant was excellent; good food, nice atmosphere.
Not match bathroom privacy
it was easy to reach the city it was very cold in the room and what was promised never came...
Room was very clean and spacious. The heaters are a bit old and noisy.
Pleasure trip Reception staff were abrupt and unnecessarily rude!
Position of the hotel. Very poor quality of my room. A dirty, smelling and small room.
Clean rooms, helpfull hotel stuff, good food, reception oprend 24/7 Far from the City, distant from transport facilities, high prices, expensive breakfast
Bed was ok. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. One female manager should not be working in hospitality at all and lied that there was a hairdryer in the room. After I had gone on a wild chase searching everywhere, her haughty response was "if there isn't a hairdryer then there isn't a hairdryer". She did not try to help me let alone apologise for her ignorance. Carpet was not very clean. In my opinion, the metro was not very close as it still took approximately 10min to walk there. I would not stay here again.
Felt secure and in a safe location compared to some of the city hotels. The staff were unfriendly and miserable. And it was quite expensive compared to the quality.
Close to function for the evening in Amstel.
Friendly staff Free parking Relatively cheap No nearby shops or restaurants Nearest metro station is like 1 km which in rain and cold weather isn't the best experience
Good, clean businesslike hotel near a Metro Stop. If you have reason to be in that area and the price is right for you, go for it. Hotel is not where I needed to be and took taxis into town just because I didn't feel like dealing with the Metro. Also, the night I stayed there, a faulty alarm system locked us out of our rooms for that night.
Nice Staff, Easy to get to, Clean rooms, Good Breakfast
there was a light that did not work. hotel staff did not fix. only one towel for two people. no courtesy transportation to to trainstop nor to subway stop.
nothing special That the Bar was closed at 1 a.m. but their were 30 people woh´s wanted to enjoy some drinks
Amsterdam center can be reached in 12 minutes by tram.
Almost everything. Breakfast was too expensive!
room parking is not for free
We were living on the 8-th floor, so the view was realy amasing, especially at night :)
Hotel stuff very, very good. Location of hotel very good, near park, trasportation to city center excellent. Rooms very small, rooms were dusty, wifi in the lobby lasts only half hour than you must go to reception and ask for password and log again. Loss of time.
The members of staff were very professional and receptive. Keep it up
comfort, location near conference, breakfast, service, staff
Room was warm, clean, comfortable. Hotel decor was modern and clean Certain Reception staff were less than helpful and totally inexperienced to deal with a possible emergency.
the space of the room and quite close to city center. the zoo is next to it and a few museums such as boat stops it was very dificult to get something from the bar. the barman was always out for something else.
staff were very friendly and the rooms modern and very clean. very good location to. no
