Pros: Front desk staff was very accommodating.
Cons: The phone operators for reservations were very rude. I spoke to several ones during the week before my stay. Only the last one I spoke to was helpful. I ended up double booking because I was told by a staff member earlier in the week that they couldn't find me on record of having booked a room so I ended up booking another. When it came close to check in, I was told that I indeed had booked the initial room. The last lady I spoke was very understanding and cancelled that initial room since I booked the second one through a third party.

Pros: The room was gorgeous and the staff were very nice.

Pros: The city view is unbelievable.
Cons: The separation doors between rooms need to be more insulated. I could hear and smell neighbors activities. Couldn’t sleep entire night till 4 am. Bring earplugs if you’re staying in this hotel, it’s right in the center of it all, constants activities around at night at city hall.

Pros: Location is good, although there are 2 different Marriott hotels next door. We went to the wrong one first and already had valet parked our car before we realized it was the hotel next door.
Cons: Received an email confirming room would be ready by 3, upon arrival at 4 we were notified room was not ready and would be 45min. We were told they would call us when ready but after hour an a half of no call we went back to find there was a credit card issue which could have easily been resolved if they would have called. Wasted time wandering around downtown

Cons: This might be the party hotel. Music was blasting from several rooms. The halls were filled with trash and laundry that stayed there most of the day. Pros: I was very impressed with the restored lobby and the finishes throughout the hotel. The original design aesthetic from the 1930's creates this luxurious feel and it is carried through the interior design from lobby to the guest rooms. The location is unbeatable, with subways, restaurants, and entertainment minutes away. The gym facilities were definitely nicer than many hotel fitness facilities I've seen in my travels. The staff at every interaction was helpful and friendly. The lobby for drinks has a great vibe, too! Overall a great experience.

Pros: The valets were very friendly, helpful and accomadating. Room was clean and the tv had a great HD picture.
Cons: Check in staff ignored me while I stood there staring at them waiting to check in because they were on the phone. Room smelled like stale cigarettes and the bathroom sink wouldn't drain.

Pros: Location, friendly staff, tall building and in Club Level extra security as it is accessed by room key only. Incredible view.
Cons: Restaurant is kept too cold and makes the food grow cold quickly. Also the staff want to impose their wishes upon the client, by insisting the client sit somewhere instead of allowing the choice to the client. In this case it was a mere nuicianse as my party & I instisted more to sit where we liked.

Pros: First-rate, top-of-the-line, fully equipped gym. The dry sauna in the men's locker room was the best I ever experienced. The quiet relaxtion room with the lounge chair was a nice bonus.
Cons: The toilet in our room wasn't flushing properly. Luckily, the staff gave us another room almost immediately. The steam room in the men's locker room was out of service for repairs. Hopefully, that will get repaired soon.

Pros: As with all Kimpton Hotels, the decor is amazing & very much in-line with my aesthetic. We also really enjoyed the location of the hotel; we stayed over 2 very nice days & walked 30 minutes down Passyunk and over to the far edge of Rittenhouse multiple times. We tend to spend most of our time out-and-about, but the time spent in the hotel was very nice. We requested a room away from the elevator, which they did not oblige. We were essentially directly next to the elevator bank, however it ended up being quite. That said, we were there on a Monday night, I'm sure the weekends are a bit rowdier.
Cons: Bed was not very comfortable (for me, the BF loved it), the outlets stopped working in the bathroom in the middle of my blow out & could not be fixed, the internet did not work the day we checked in. Also...there is not much follow-through from the staff; we had requested a later check-out that they never acknowledged until we were physically there and brought it up ourselves again during check-in. We asked for a room away from the elevator bank, but were put in one directly next to it. Tried to order room service & the person on the phone said they would have to call back to 'confirm the order' but never called back..the food appeared 20 minutes later, cold. Negatives aren't the end of the world, but there are definitely some things we weren't thrilled with. But the staff, including the valet, were lovely & very friendly.

Pros: Outstanding. Like all Kimpton hotels, the accommodations are uniquely hip and utterly luxurious. What stood out, above all though, was the customer service; the finest I’ve experienced to date. The staff is gracious and accommodating. They go the extra mile (and beyond) to make their guests comfortable. Also, the Japanese soaking tub, which sounds like one of those gimmicky add-ons, is life changing experience in itself. I cannot overstate the indulgent pleasure.
Cons: The views are hit or miss, but such is an unavoidable trade off in almost all urban hotel and bright, colorful, playfully ornate decor go a long way to offset this.

Pros: Nice location for nightlife and history tours.
Cons: I receive a monthly check from the VA for a service connected disability -- my ONE night stay cost more than that entire check! And for what? I received no continental breakfast; parking is $50 a NIGHT; and my room with a king-sized bed was tiny. No idea if internet was included, as I was not given a password. I wanted to sit in my room and prepare for a speech I had to give, but, my absurdly expensive room did not come with a chair besides an ergonomically nightmarish desk chair. I had a ton of clothes because I was there for a three day wedding, so my hands were full. I received no bell-service, carried all my stuff to my room, and the keys didn't work; so I had to lug everything back to the front desk. Had to iron shirts for the wedding, the ironing board looked like it was bought from a yard sale. For the cost of this room, I expect quality amenities. Also, the bouncer for the rooftop bar, who looked a like a teenager, watched one of the wedding guests get assaulted, laughed, and did nothing. Honestly, we should've called the police. Posh and ostentatious, with little reward. Go somewhere else.

Pros: Sam, the doorman was exceptional. Ready, willing and able to give excellent customer service including: • Always pleasant and smiling • Providing accurate information on where to go--restaurants, ice-cream places, etc. • Took a personal interest in you--asked for and called you by your name The staff as a whole was generally quite pleasant. • View from the room to the park was great!
Cons: • Room was dusty. • Bathroom shower had no door, and so the floor and bathroom door always got wet. • First room was large but was for a disabled person. WHen we changed the room, we were given a comparatively very small room. When we asked if we could get a larger room, we were told that there were none except the rooms for disabled persons.

Pros: It was a really nice hotel - beautiful room and facilities- great location. The bartenders in the bar were really helpful and gave better suggestions for what to do in the city than the reception and concierge.

Pros: We got the corner king spa room and couldn't be happier. The room was spacious, and the views made the room look even bigger. The bathroom was on point, and the big soaking tub was great. We usually stay closer to Rittenhouse square but we didn't mind this location too much, there is tons to do in this part of downtown! The staff was very friendly and made check-in and check-out a breeze.
The Sofitel Philadelphia hotel blends French elegance with American style, providing a refined environment for upscale business and leisure travel. Experience this sophisticated downtown hotel, which serves as the cornerstone of the new Frenc h Quarter, steps from Rittenhouse Square. At 10:15 we had a hotel staff member knock on our door to tell us we had noise complaints and to keep it down!!! There was also a note under our door say pleas keep it down the walls are very thin!!! Really??? 10:15??? And they want Philly to be known for the city of LOVE but only if you whisper! Disappointed the staff actually came up to tell me that. Pros: I love all the little extras that the Sofitel in Philadelphia provides… Waters that you don't pay for and offers of more water on request. A really comfortable chair to sit at at the desk, multiple outlets for electronic things, a good blow dryer, a fabulous bed for comfort, great decorating and design that is amazing.
Cons: I love the amazing service and delicious food like the squash soup that Sofitel offers in their dining area. I appreciated that when I asked about my boarding pass being printed out Anthony from the front desk immediately went there and did it within 30 seconds for me. The staff, from the maid service to the front desk to the waitresses to the hostess to the Bellman, are all incredibly friendly warm helpful but appropriate.

3.1
Pros: Having stayed before in a different city, I was really excited to stay at the Sofitel in Philadelphia. Sadly, the luxury hotel failed to provide any kind of world class hospitality that I am used to from this brand.
Cons: Waiting 30 minutes for my car to be taken out of Valet. Having a Valet tip come right out of my account without my approval. Extremely uncomfortable bedding. No running water due to a shut off, but wasn't told about this until after checking in and essentially not having another option to book another hotel. Phone did not work. Cable remote did not work. Concierge service was unknowledgeable of what the hotel offers.
Our Art Deco classic digs with a modern twist in the middle of Center City prove the perfect launching pad for exploring our Rittenhouse Square neighborhood and beyond. With easy access to a thriving culinary and arts scene, a tranquil urban park and multiple means of public transit, we can't think of a better place to call your Philly home. Inside our beautifully converted, 1920s building, you'll be quietly seduced by our luxurious amenities and air of intrigue. We can't wait to let you in on the secret.

Pros: Location
Cons: 1) Room was extremely small and uncomfortable. 2) AC Fan cycled on and off every 15 seconds or so keeping me awake during most of my first night there. I reported this to the front desk and asked that it be fixed, but was not. I had to turn off the AC the next two nights in order to sleep. 3) We had booked several rooms for a wedding party. Only 1 was available for check in at the advertised check in time. 4) Only 4 elevators for a 25 story building made getting from floor to floor very difficult. For example: getting coffee and ice (each available at only 1 location in whole hotel) took an unacceptably long time due to long elevator waits. 5) Staff was not very helpful. One of our guests left an item in another room. I had to follow up with lost and found 3 times before I was able to get it back. 6) in short...while I've stayed in many hotels in my life, this is one of the worst experiences I have had. Next time I will stay in a Red Roof or similar....my experiences there have been much better. This was certainly the poorest "value for dollar" that I've ever experienced.

Pros: My fiance and I visited for the holiday weekend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room ammentities were updated. Great views of city (of your on the right side of the building). king size bed was nice to have although it wasn't especially soft. Room was cleaned every afternoon for when we returned. They have decent free wine ever day between 6 and 7. The hotel lobby and elevators and hallways were nicely decorated, full of art.
Cons: Room size was just average, didn't have much if any more room compared to other hotels. The shower was nothing special, same size and same shower head I would find at a 2 or 3 star hotel. Nothing was inclusive except for a few toiletries you may have forgotten at home. We had a weird Brown smudge on one of our end table drawers that room service had to clean up. Only 4 elevators for 25 floors of rooms was bad, if your in the top floor like we were we had to stop at 4-5 floors going up or down before we arrived at our room or the lobby. Ice is Only on one flone which is extremely inconvenient. These negatives were a big let down, overshadowing the positives for the price you pay.

Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff at front desk. Very good coffee available in lobby in morning. Good location.
Cons: We booked 12 rooms for bridal party for Friday and Saturday nights through Kayak, and also had arranged wedding block of 20 rooms through hotel. We were told by Kevin that bridal party could extend their stay to add Thursday night through the block, however when bridesmaid tried to do so, she said hotel did not cooperate and she booked a different hotel instead. Many of our booked rooms were not ready by hotel's check in time of 3 pm. Room and bathroom very small. Hotel was full during our stay; many long waits and delays with 4 elevators available.

Pros: I liked the fact that the hotel is centrally located to shops, dining, and entertainment in Philly. We specifically stayed here to celebrate my birthday at nearby Amada, a tapas restaurant (Excellent food by the way!). A big plus was that there was no additional fees for having our dog stay. The hotel reminded me of the hotels in Northern Europe I've stayed in with the rooms being designed with very clean lines, wood, and metal. I liked the lobby area with the fireplace and hanging out with other people staying there with their dogs. Room was facing an alley way and it was very quiet. Bath was adequate size with full tub and shower. Definitely coming back and staying here for the Spring when the sun comes back out after all this snow!!!!! Good value overall.
Cons: Eat in breakfast was overly priced just like every other hotel on the planet. Seriously, $9 for two eggs?!?!?!?!?

Pros: Absolutely LOVED staying here. My boyfriend and I stayed here after the marathon. Bottled water when we arrived, champagne and the staff upgraded our room! We got there 3 hours earlier for check-in and because our Queen room wasn't ready yet and my boyfriend was visibly exhausted from the marathon, they gave us a King room that was ready. The rooms are the perfect size, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with amenities, and room service was fantastic. Free wine social hour by the fire was incredible. Hotel is centrally located with a lot of great food surronding. We'lol be staying here anytime we're in Philly!
Cons: 18% gratuity and 5$ service charge placed on the food service is a bit excessive. The lady (who was so sweet) brought the tray into our room and had me sign a receipt that had a tip option on it. Just mad it a little uncomfortable. It didn't take away how amazing the food was though!

Pros: We were in town for a wedding and gifted our reservation for Hotel Palomar to the newlyweds for the evening after their wedding. The staff at Hotel Palomar was fantastic- they quickly and easily added names to the reservation and a bottle of prosecco and lovely note was in the room when they arrived. They loved the room and we loved knowing they were well taken care of!
Cons: No complaints!

Pros: I always stay here completely love it great beds, rooms is large and comfortable and the onsite restaurant is top Notch! Will be back for sure
Cons: Room was a tad cold this time but only because it's winter and the room was on the outside facing wall of the hotel. I'd recommend an extra blanket if you're street facing with a few windows.

Pros: People were nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent and family friendly.
Cons: $40 for parking for the night is a bit ridiculous. Wasn't a fan of the bedding. My family has a tendency to toss and turn and by the morning the sheets had mostly all come off my bed and the same for my daughters. Not a huge deal but a fitted sheet would have been n ice.

Pros: facility was very nice. staff very accommodating
Cons: the air in our first room didn't work. After an hour of being in the room the temperature was still 78 degrees. Engineering said the people who had that room before us had the same problem. They shouldn't have sold that room again until it was fixed. But... they moved all of our belongings while we went out to dinner and were very nice and helpful.

Pros: The rooms are beautiful. We stayed on the top floor (15th). There is always an elevator available. The staff was very friendly. The shower was the best I've ever used in a hotel. It had a HUGE rainfall style top with a wand for all the hard to reach places and adjustable water pressure. The hot water was nice and HOT. And the bed was amazing! The view of the nearby skyscrapers was beautiful and it's in the best location to shop till you drop! I would stay again but I would only book through kayak because I got the room for about $100 less per night!!!!
Cons: The only downside was that I requested a quiet room and found the ice machine directly across the hall from me. I only heard a few people in the hall so it could have been worse.

Pros: The room was very nice and fit our needs well. We thought the bed was as comfortable or even more comfortable than ours at home, which says a lot.
Cons: Our shower didn't work. After a hot night outside at the Cold Play concert, we wanted to take showers before going to bed. However, when you pull the knob to turn on the shower, it came right out of the faucet. It was almost 1 am in the morning and we didn't want to call anyone. So we opted to take a bath but it was not what we wanted. Hence the reason I only gave the hotel a "Good" rating.

Pros: The location is great, and overall the hotel Is attractive and well maintained. Most of the staff are excellent, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. They were helpful and courteous. Relative to similar hotels in the area, it's a great value.
Cons: This stay (our 4th, but first since it's no longer a radisson) we encountered a MAJOR problem at 4am, and with two young children to be displayed in the middle of the night without our belongings was awful. The night staff and cleaning staff were great but the manager on duty was unbelievably awful, as if we inconvenienced her when her shift started at 8 -- 4 hours after we started dealing with the issue. Instead of commiserating with awful circumstances and asking how we could be helped to be comforble, she mostly left us to or own devices to figure out clothing, food, and basics for two little children who'd been up all night, and had to be pressured to provide basic information about a plan for us to be able to leave. Unreal.

Pros: Lobby is beautiful, staff was pleasant. Bathroom shower had large clumps of some else's hair on the wall, little grossed out.
Cons: Better communication between the doorman and bell staff. Fd and valets were very pleasant. Seems the hotel missed the basics of check in and had ample time for the Fd to pass on guest last name from team member to team member. Missed making a good stay to a great stay, it just felt like everyone was just going through the motions. I cannot remember anyone's name as they did not use their name or ours. Doorman older white haired was very rushed and had several people calling on him. He seems like a seasoned veteran, but why is he assigned/called from the FD to come from the front drive, pull stored luggage out inside, then we had to request a bellman who showed up a few minutes later to add the luggage to a bell cart and then take me upstairs doesn't make much sense operationally. No eye contact or name recognition he some how dropped off my bags without even stopping (doorman). At the time (slow time) several front desk employees could have done this task, passed on any tip, put the luggage on the cart and let us know the bellman would be right up so we could relax. Bellman was very nice when we arrived, he had nothing to keep the door open so I held the door, could have been a good time to go over the room options or thermostat as it was very cold in the room and outside.

Pros: Huge room, comfortable bed
Cons: This hotel is unsusuccessfully trying to be a luxury hotel, which it does look like. Looks aren't everything though. The way you're treated by the staff is most important in a luxury hotel. This where the Warwick falls flat on its face. The "doormen" never acknowledged us going in or out. When the bellman showed us to our room, we asked where the ice machine was, instead of filling our ice bucket, he showed us where we could get our own ice--pretty classy guy. Now for the maid service: When we showered the first morning, there ware only two hand towels, one of which we had to use as a bath mat. My husband asked one of the maids on our floor for a couple more hand towels. Her reply was that she had none! We had to call housekeeping to ask for extra hand towels and a bath mat. When our room was done that morning, we got a bath mat, but no hand towels. They also failed to replace our coffe, coffee cups and drinking glasses. We were givien an hour extension for check out, but our maid knocked on our door three times to ask when we were checking out. All three times she knocked on the door were before noon! If Radison wants to run this hotel as a high-end hotel, they need to actually train there entire staff how to serve their guests.

Pros: Luxurious rooms, great location, right next to Rittenhouse Square. Parc restaurant around the corner is amazing.
Cons: Hotel was late getting my room ready. Tried to check in at 3, was told a room would be ready in half an hour. They never called to say it was ready, but when I went back to the desk at 5, they had plenty of rooms. Also, asked about complimentary airport shuttle and was told there was one every 30 minutes. Shuttle was on time, but the driver insisted it was not complimentary, charging me $10 when I got to the airport. Didn't have time to argue, but front desk should have been clear when I asked about a "complimentary" shuttle.

Cons: Safety: We checked in with several couples. One couple opened the door to their room after checking in and heard the TV on and saw someone's work boots on the floor by the bathroom. The hotel clerk had given them the keys to someone else's occupied room! The next morning, someone opened the door to my husband's and my room while I was sleeping. I called out my husband's name and the person closed the door. My husband ran out of the bathroom and checked the hall, but no one was there. Thank goodness we had closed the extra security slider so they could only open the door about an inch. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened. After that, we were anxious the whole morning until checkout. Thank goodness our stay was only one night.

Pros: The hotel lobby was very nice
Cons: I did not like how my room seemed like no one even checked it. The light switches coming into the room were not connected to anything, the smoke detector was dangling from its wires. The outlet next to the bed wasn't even connected to the wall so when I went to pull out my charger I pulled out the outlet as well. The heater in the bathroom also looked old, and stained. And the bed sheets had rips in them. The the amount of money that I spent on that one person room, I would have expected that it would have been a little better looked after.

Cons: Unorganized. Didn't have us on the maids schedule so she thought the room was vacant. They lost track of our car (valet parked) and took 45 min to get it. Messed up our dates so that they checked us out a day earlier than we had scheduled. They fixed all of these things graciously. The valet parking attendants on one (of three) days were very annoyed to be doing their job. The room was tired, but clean enough. The refrigerator didn't work so we had to keep ice buckets to keep my son's milk cool.

Pros: The proximity to Rittenhouse Square, the shops on Walnut Street, and the many many restaurants in that area is fantastic. The hotel was very clean. Found a great price online. Would stay here again.
Cons: We checked in at 4pm. Hotel check in time is 3pm. The desk clerk told me our room wasn't quite ready and that we could wait or upgrade to a better room. Here is my summary of the conversation: Clerk: "Sorry, you're room isn't cleaned quite yet. You may wait about 20-30 minutes or we can upgrade your room" Me: "It's past 3pm, right? (I look at my watch). Yes it's 4pm. Check in time is 3pm, right?" Clerk: "Yes. We had a lot of check outs today and our cleaning staff is doing their best" Me: "Is the upgrade free?" Clerk: "No, it is $30" Me: "So, I reserved a room but it's not ready after your hotel's published check in time, and you want ME to pay YOU so I can check into a room now?" Clerk: "Hmmm. Let me look again, maybe something else is available. Oh yes, there is an open room. I'll check you in now". How many people would have paid the extra $30? Probably many would have. Seemed shady to me that she was able to find an available room after I declined the upgrade. I felt like I was in that Seinfeld episode where Jerry reserved a rental car and they don't have his car available. Other than this interaction, which unfortunately was my very first interaction at the hotel, our stay was great. Would stay here again, pending they reserve, and hold, a clean room for me to stay in.

Pros: Great location Stylish design
Cons: Well first things first, the room smelled overwhelmingly like cigars, and i know because i smoke them. Second, they never advised me that parking was not included with the room. Had they let me know i would have parked it on the street because it was only going to be parked for about 8hrs(got there at 2am and left at 10am). Instead they charged me 80$ for two nights of parking(again i was there for only 8 hours) and then to add insult to injury they damaged my car which i didnt realize until after i left because i was in a hurry to make a meeting. I have called them 6 times and left them 3 separate messages to return my phone call to no avail. I have never been to a hotel that looked so great but preformed so poorly on all accounts. I would have rather stayed at a holiday in express.

Pros: My wife is from the Philly suburbs and we like to take a trip down to Philly for a night each year in January to have something to look forward to after the holidays are over. We've previously stayed at the Sofitel and enjoyed it, but the Radisson Blu Warwick was considerably less expensive for a one-night stay this go-round so we decided to switch it up. We had a really nice experience. Our room was comfortable, though did not have a view at all except for the run-down building directly adjacent to the hotel. That's to be expected when booking through a third-party vendor, I suppose. Beyond that, we enjoyed the place quite a bit. Nice lobby, nice staff, decent beers on draught at the hotel bar and they even gave us a couple of toothbrushes and toothpastes when we realized we lost ours. We'd definitely stay again!
Cons: The shower took a considerable amount of time to heat up to a comfortable temperature, so just keep that in mind before you jump in and rush through a lukewarm shower. The in-room refrigerator was a nice touch but it actually wasn't set to cool, which we didn't realize until our leftovers spent the night in it. Our room was about 40 feet down the hall from the elevator bank, but we could hear the ding they make when the elevator arrives pretty clearly.

Pros: So close and convenient to Jefferson Station train stop. If you are planning on using public transport to get from the airport to the hotel and back, you can't beat the location. It was also close to restaurants and within walking distance to historic Philadelphia attractions. Was traveling with my seven year old and I felt safe in the neighborhood. Staff was very friendly and very helpful! Restaurant in hotel had good options. Everything was clean and in good shape.
Cons: Pool area and exercise room left a little to be desired but were good enough for my son to enjoy and for me to get a vacation sized workout.

Pros: Right in the city close to lots of tourist destinations. Beds are incredibly comfy, and loved the microwave/fridge/keurig combo.
Cons: Very close to some dodgy parts of town. Parking is outrageously difficult to find on street (and I'm from NYC). Just pay the insane fee for the parking garage, it's worth it. On street is $9 for3 hours anyways. The hotel itself wasn't terrible with clean rooms, a pool/hot tub area and decent exercise facilities. The whole place was a bit dark and I felt compelled to turn on all the lights in the room and it still felt dark. Other than the hotel feeling dark and a bit old it was a pleasant stay.

Pros: Nothing, I would not recommend this hotel at all!
Cons: The room was not ready when check in, had to wait for 2 more hrs. As a gold member of SPG we were expected to be upgraded, but they just gave us the wrost room type. it’s very small and the window facing a feaking wall, make me feel like the whole room would had no window. Not only this, the pillow has a strong smell and I could not use it at all for the whole night. The front desk Staff was not friendly at all, we are SPG gold member, when asked her if they have our gold number or not, she said yes. But, it turns out they don’t have our gold number key in at all when we checked that later evening after dinner. We started to complain to their manager, been told it’s too late so they could not make any difference to us. That being said, this is not a pleasant stay with La Meridien in Philadelphia.

Pros: Communications or user error between kayak and the hotel accidentally booked us a two bed room instead of a 1 king bed room. The staff did not question this mistake (be it my fault or kayak’s) and upgraded us to a king room with a view of Love Park. Btw this place has great views of Love Park, and Court House Square. Good water pressure, good HVAC, good atmosphere, and the rooms are very roomy for the price! Definitely got our money’s worth!
Cons: I did not like paying for parking, but there is NO FREE PARKING anywhere within City Center. Their parking fees were some of the lowest in the city, and the valet was included. The mini fridge food/drinks were high but, neither of these would stop me from staying here again. Comparing this hotel’s (inevitable) “additional fees” to others.. I would rate them on the lower side.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The valet misinformed us about the parking. They strongly recommended we pay 50$ for valet parking rather than on the street. The hotel room was not very ideal or modern for the price. The towels and bed sheets smelled as if they had not been changed or washed. The hotel did NOT provide amenities, and the shower products provided were very low quality and would not use them on my body. There are plenty other choices in Philadelphia and would not recommend this La meridian.

Cons: Breakfast was included in our reservation - took almost an hour, we ended up walking out. Gathering our car from valet took a long time as well, we were told "your car is on the way" but could clearly see our keys from the pile....

Pros: Awesome building champagne at checkin have had many enjoyable and memorable stays.
Cons: Understaffed, poor service sub par to other Ritz hotels. We were provided with wrong room on arrival. Room was somewhat dated and curtains had large weird stains on them. Carpet in room was also stained making it feel dirty. Restaurant service was horrible / waited 40 mins for a table then waited another 15 mins to get acknowledged by staff. Pros: The manager took great care of us after she was told about our disappointments. She was wonderful and made our second night much better than the first. Most of the other staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The facility is extremely old along with the heating/air conditioning units. Our sheets had a hole in them. Had disappointment with 2 staff members who were a bit rude. Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable of the city. We had a great experience!

Pros: The hotel and staff were extraordinary. i was always greeted upon leaving and entering the hotel. Oftentimes the bellman or concierge would ask if I needed anything. I must have looked a bit lost!!! The situation detailed below needs to be addressed because other than that, the room was most comfortable with a lovely view of City Hall northward Amanda in housekeeping was excellent in refreshing my room and being extra certain there was no detail that was omitted
Cons: There wasn't anything "I didn't like!" However, The only "hiccup" I experienced was a slight odor of tobacco in. my room at the end of each day. When I notified the front desk they were quick to put a plan in place to remedy the problem. Unfortunately, the odor continued and was probably a function of the odor of the carpet, drapery and bedding.

Pros: The Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia is a luxurious, welcoming hotel centrally located just south of the iconic City Hall. The.staff were courteous, responsive and very helpful. Cons: Old king bed with two craters on either side and a mountain in the middle. Sparse king suite room missing some typical and expected details such as a bag for ice bucket, a second robe, or a second cutlery set from room service. The staff was nice and accommodating, but we just stopped calling the front desk after the 2nd call. Also the vanity area of the bathroom was awkwardly massive - perhaps 12'x24'. It contained a single sink, and a separate make-up vanity (without a stool). The toilet and shower (no tub) were located through a separate door to the standard, camped hotel bathroom. Weird prioritize took of space, that made the suite feel awkward.

Cons: I paid for a room with a courtyard view and was given one with a view of the Street. The towels were very starchy and itchy to use. The shampoo was very low quality and caused both my husband and I to have dry and itchy scalp. The bedding had some sort of stains that they tried to hide by adding an extra sheet on top. The room was also very small and almost crammed. Overall, it seemed like the cost was only for the Hilton name and not for the quality. I’ve paid less for better service and quality in other large cities.

Pros: Excellent staff, hotel design top notch as you can tell special attention has been placed on presentation. Pool excellent, kids loved it, very clean and well kept. Rooftop lounge excellent with great view. Valet service very good as car arrived in 5 minutes without having to call ahead. I definitely recommend this property hands down!
Cons: Room was a bit dusty, kids were both were sneezing and coughing before bedtime. You could see it on the nightstand, perhaps room was unoccupied for some time. Otherwise I highly recommend the Logan!

Pros: Great location, nice rooms, wonderful showers, and the staff was friendly.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was decent at best. It seems like it should be an attraction but is merely just a side note with interesting decorations. And they also charge $60 a night for parking at a hotel you are already paying to stay in. That was almost half of what I paid for the room. It's not NY or DC and shouldn't cost $60 to park. Ever. Anywhere.

Pros: Food at Urban Farmer was fabulous. Quite a delight. Rooftop bar was excellent - beautiful view.
Cons: Room smelled like smoke. First staff person apologized and offered no other solutions. Second call the staff person offered an ozone machine to clean the air. He never showed up. I called two hours later after dinner and they said they couldn't bring the ozone machine to the room, stating that the machine couldn't be in use when the guest was in the room. Disappointed in response and knowledge of staff.

Pros: The Good: Very luxurious rooms. Friendly staff. Really good food on site at the Urban Kitchen. Location was prime to get to all the museums and city center.
Cons: The Bad: 2+ hours delayed check in time. Compensation was essentially a drink at the bar. This happened to many people around us. When we finally got to our rooms, there were NO towels!!! For the price we paid and the star value of this hotel, I was very disappointed.

Pros: Wife and I had a great time here. The location, staff and food is excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for adults. With Kayak's website I got a great deal, thank you.
Cons: Age is catching up with this hotel, hall carpets, moulding need to be changed and the bathrooms should be modernized. I rate this hotel at 4.3 stars.

Pros: The comfort of the bed.
Cons: It just felt old, out of date, old school, stuffy. I was also surprised that the only amenity for such an expensive hotel was a tiny little cup of coffee, self-served in the foyer. You had to pay for everything, even WiFi access.

Pros: Staff was helpful and welcoming throughout the hotel. Excellent location. Great bar on the top floor. Room had a fridge and coffee maker.
Cons: Bathroom had no electrical outlets, so couldn’t use the supplied hair dryer in the bathroom, and no fan. TV had to load some weird “portal” software which was glitchy and hard to use.
"Located in Center City, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Walnut Street, Rittenhouse Square and City Hall. Reading Terminal Market and Pennsylvania Convention Center are also within 15 minutes. City Hall Station is 5 minutes by foot and Walnut Locust Station is 8 minutes. "

Pros: The location is perfect for getting around the city with easy walking distance to the city center. The staff was attentive and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The furniture and fixtures were all very new and modern while the building itself still had charming, old-fashioned architecture. Also, each floor has a filtered water dispenser and bottles that guests have access to 24/7.
Cons: I didn't mind that the room was small, but I felt like it was an inefficient use of space. There were no towel racks and nowhere in the bathroom to set any toiletries, bags, etc. The toilet was a very utilitarian public-style toilet that I thought clashed with the nicer fixtures and furnishings. We were only provided with one wash cloth and one hand towel, neither of which were replaced when the room was cleaned. Only one towel was replaced. We had to reuse the hand towel and bath mat, and request more wash cloths the next day. The rooms don't have their own irons, ironing boards, etc. but there is a large communal closet on each floor for guests to go get their extra things as needed. There is no continental breakfast. Very small elevators. You're definitely paying more for the location than you are for the amenities.

Pros: The complimentary water bottles on our floor and the snacks in the lobby
Cons: Room was dirty, looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. Dust and hair on the charging station, dust in the bathroom, dust in the coffee mugs, and the shower head was disgusting. The shower curtain was wrinkled and looked like it was just put up after being in a ball. Plus there’s a nasty stain on the carpet by the table near the thermostat that is very unsettling in color. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this location. The one in Chicago is great tho!

Pros: Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel overall appearance was good and stylish.
Cons: Parking rates were outrageous. The bar was terrible and the drinks overpriced. I know the main restaurant/bar was closed for renovations, which explains the awkward positioning of the bar, but the prices for drinks were way too high given the bartender quality and overall market positioning which is heavily influenced by the bartender. Drinks were priced about 30% higher than they should have been, especially given the fact that I had to explain to the bartender how to make a simple drink like an old fashioned. Huge fail in an area where there are too many alternatives.

Pros: The staff at the front desk were exceptional and extremely helpful. The doorman and valet were amazing providing information about the city and transportation.
Cons: The restaurant and bar were horrible! Service was slow and overwhelmed but they tried hard to provide service. Our burgers were not cooked properly. My burger was burned and my fiancé asked for medium rare and got well done. We sent it back and the burgers still were pathetic and not good. We ate them anyway we were starving after traveling all day. Later that evening after returning from dinner out and a bit of shopping we went to the bar for a night cap and waited 20 minutes before anyone even spoke to us and then another 20 minutes to get a simple captain and Coke and a lemonade -- needless to say we walked out!

Pros: Convenient location right on the waterfront near some excellent dining options and a new "pop-up" park.
Cons: They checked me into an already occupied room when I first arrived at 3 PM and then made me wait until 6 to get checked in. When I was finally given a room, the nightstand had a layer of dust so thick I could write my name in it. The front desk told us they would have it cleaned while we were gone, but they did not. The rest of the room appeared clean, but how does that much dust build up in a room that is cleaned regularly? Furthermore, the bathroom had French doors which did not fully meet in the middle so privacy was a bit lacking.

Pros: Hilton is pretty much a hotel where you know what you can expect from them and it generally is a notch above their competition.
Cons: Security in the lobby at midnight when I arrived due to loud and obnoxious people at bar. Hard to hear upon check in which was late. They put me in a room that is exactly the OPPOSITE of my profile request. No room by elevator... put me right next to it. Neighbors partied all night and hotel phone didn't work to call to resolve issue. When I finally got it to work, they never resolved the noise. When I asked for the room to be refunded and cancel the remainder of my stay, they refused! Since when did we begin getting held hostage by hotel companies? Very unusual for Hilton brand, but this staff at THIS hotel have work to improve.

Pros: This was a very convenient location to downtown Philadelphia. The front desk staff were very pleasant. The room was adequate. The bathroom was clean. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were perfect. In the morning, I went downstairs to get coffee and mentioned that the coffee pot in my room did not work. The woman behind the counter made a note of my room # and gave me free coffee. I was pleasantly surprised. The valet staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient.
Cons: The check-in process took way too long. When I got there, there was a line of about 20 people and only one person at the desk. I came back 45 minutes later. There were about 25 people on line but they finally added additional staff at the desk. The carpet in the room was dated and wrinkled in places -- creating a tripping hazard. The coffee pot did not work. The outlet in the bathroom did not work. We checked our luggage the last day to enjoy a few more hours in Philly, and the bell hop was grumpy.

Cons: We had 4 rooms on the same floor and travelling with young kids. There was a group of loud guests (they probably occupied 10+ of the other rooms considering they are treating it like a dorm and walking back and forth from it and slamming the doors) roaming around the hallways until 3am, called front desk and they weren't able to do anything. A group of them actually knocked on our doors at 3am repeatedly until I finally opened the door and ask them what they wanted and a guy asked if he can come into our room and I heard snickers in the back. I closed the door and they knocked again and I asked them if they were drunk and more laughing. Third time I called security on them. When I finally slept for maybe 10 minutes around 4am the fire alarm went off, we were on the 19th floor and the elevators were shut off and we couldn't reach the front desk to find out what's going on. We had our kids ready in case we have to walk down to the ground floor. The alarms went off for 30 minutes until there was an annoucement saying it was a false alarm. I suspected the other guests on our floor might have pulled the alarm. It's disgusting and the hotel did not handle the situation at all, no apologies whatsoever when we checked out in the morning.
